Excellent medium class family hotel.Very friendly staff, nice rooms (power plugs too less though), very nice breakfast buffet, 2 excellent pools, child friendly. Kindergarten, enough bathrooms everywhere, cozy lobby. Professionell staff, parking possibility even on Songkhran holidays very good.Good location. Quiet soi with plenty of (not so good) restaurants.Especially for families this hotel is the best value for money you can get. We enjoyed 4 nights to the fullest and will for sure come back. Only WiFi is useless. Almost never connection, and if, then only for short period and very weak. Need routers on every 2nd floor, not only one .A safe in the room would be nice.
Nice hotel close to the beach , my only complaint were the issues with the internet very hard to get on and stay on . Breakfast was very good pool excellent . Quiet staff I dealt with were nice but limited english ... even with those issues I would recomend this hotel for a nice stay ...
clean nice hotel”
long beach cha am has just been renovated I think because the rooms and en-suite look nice and new (unlike the lift), they have a problem with birds on the balcony's, so not so nice when I arrived although when I made them aware of this they were very quick to come and clean it for us, breakfast buffet is one of the best I have had in my years of travelling in Thailand (pastries are amazing, think they make then on site), I am in my early 40'S and the hotel did feel like an old peoples home which isn't really a problem for me but just thought I'd mentioning it, overall my stay was enjoyable but a little over priced.
Good all round place to stay in Cha-Am”
This 3rd stay at the Long Beach was excellent and our first time over the New year. The staff are just great there and are attentive to your needs promptly. Although the hotel was fully booked, at breakfast time they had it all covered and both mornings turning up on the later side made no difference as all was available for Thai or foreign taste. BTW: The bread selection here is delightful with various German style breads from their own onsite bakery. IMO, the breakfast at this hotel is one of the best you'll get in Thailand. We managed to get a recently renovated pool view room and they have been upgraded nicely. The bathrooms have been well done and the shower is tops. I see though from reading that some have been unhappy, due to renovation work done and still some ongoing. My advice 1) Ask for a room that isn't 'North facing' as that side of the hotel does presently have some construction work going on (abliet NO noise over NY) 2) Check what and when is coming up this year (I believe the swimming pool is to be done next). Yes, I will at some point go for a 4th trip here ... my stop for Cha-Am it is :-)
Hotel for Family”
We like this hotel and will be back if we go to Cha Am again. The hotel has been just recently renovated so you can request a newly renovated room when you make a booking. We traveled with 2 daugthers (2 years old for both of them) and a nanny. We booked a family room which is quite big so our kids had a space to run around. The beach is also very close and there is 7-11 at the front of the hotel. We really had a great time here.
Cool , comfortable and clean”
I went with my family totally 7 people staying on long weekend for Thailand holiday. Our rooms corridors are straight to beach side and be able to view swimming pool from the rooms seeing my family swim under. Breakfast is variety with foods and good taste.
wonderful hotel with everything you need ”
We had a great stay and have been many times to Long Beach. It is a strong 3 star hotel. There is everything you need here and the service is great. Int he off season if you can get a suite it is a good deal.
Spacious Room, Great View, Delicious Breakfast”
cha-am is a quiet city, but a good place to relax for a long weekend. long beach is not a new hotel...the building is quite old but they have done a good bit of remodeling to keep up with the times. the breakfast was bountiful and i actually got some maple (flavored) syrup with my pancakes and french toast. (most hotels in thailand just offer honey.) anyway, the room was big and the bed soft enough. the shower had great pressure but wasn't as hot as i would have liked. fabulous view and nice little balcony to have a drink and relax on. nice pool bar area. overall, hotel stay and food was well worth the price paid.
fantastic place to be”
you want a quiet, nice, comfortable and friendly place? This is it! It is nearby the beach, white sand and clean. Staff is always polite and friendly, they even rememeber my room number and handed the key without asking. Wonderful. Rooms were large and clean. This is a good place to rest and get some clean air! (Most guests, if not all, are thai. I find that rather an advantage!)
Great Family Hotel”
Staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable, good buffet breakfast. Easy walk to the beach, and many restaurants close by. Good place to stay if you just want to go to the beach and stay near the hotel.

Nice staff and good location”
Long Beach Chaam hotel is a place where you can find the good services from hospitality and well-mannered staff. Hotel has a good location and nice facilities such as 2 swimming pools, kids room, fitness, massage, and table tennis table. I personnally think it's one of value of money hotel.
Really enjoyed our Jr. Suite we booked thru Agoda. This hotel stays busy all year booking Seminars, Weddings, Parties, and Business Group meetings. Was met at our car by Conceign and Desk Clerk, who checked us in during a Group checkin, making us feel like a VIP. Many new facilities added since our last visit, besides the second pool. Cha-Am Beach location is a day or weekend visit for the people from Bangkok and surrounding area. Traffic can be a headache. Easy walk to restaurants (Italian, English, Scandinavian), 7-11, and the Beach.
Nice and comfortable hotel”
We got triple room for 2 adults and 2 children but we managed it comfortably. Great view from our room. Nice space to sit down at balcony. Very present to stay with near by shops and restaurants and 2 minutes walk to the beach. Only thing that bad were to cope every night with the loud music from some restaurant near by until very late night..guess you can't do much about it. Lovely breakfast provided and after we had a game of table tennis and snooker at the same floor of 2 swimming pool, the Jaguzzi pool not working very well. But over all is good value for money.
A good value. Booking agency will save ”
The room was not large but well placed mirrors made it seem roomie. The room was kleen and they cleaned it everyday. The breakfast buffet was varied and fresh but a little greesy. Less than a block to the well kept beach which gets crowded with locals on the weekend. The hotel is popular with failings. It has two nice pools for sunning and exercise. Weekday rates are very reasonable but be sure to book online through a booking agency for best price. The buffet is THB220 o make sure if you select the "buffet included" option that you don't overpay
Old but maintained hotel”
The bed was ok only, not very comfortable but still acceptable. Not much thing to do in cha-am. Transportation there are very expensive as seldom see metered taxi. There are a few cheap massage services just beside the hotel. The swimming pool area was on renovation, didn't visit.
the best hotel”
I would recommend this hotel we could not fault anything about the hotel,we had our young daughter with us we asked if they had a cot for her they did have cots which is a rare thing in Thailand and there was not a charge for it,there was a safe in the room and again no charge.the room was a good size and very clean, the bed was comfy and big.the staff was excellent all over the hotel.the hotel was only a few minutes from the beach which was very clean and lots of sunbeds to hire out.this part of cha-am is not lively with night life so not full of piss heads,we will be going back to this hotel in the future
Overall, the Long Beach Hotel was a great place to stay. It was relatively quiet, very clean, and the food was quite good - lots of variety in the breakfast buffet and excellent sandwiches from their menu (I'd recommend the pineapple chicken sandwich!). My only complaint is that you had to get a new wifi password after 2 hours of internet use. They would bring it up to you, but it definitely inhibited my desire to just check my email, facebook, etc. if I knew I'd only be on 15 mins. and would then use up an entire sign-in session. Other than that, I'd recommend this hotel to others.
A decent hotel in a good location”
We stayed at the Long Beach hotel during Songkran so busy time of the year. Its location opposite the beach was very good except the section cornered off for the hotel was badly maintained with only a few chairs (we ended up paying 100 baht to sit elsewhere). The breakfast was very good but the beach front restaurant nothing special. The room was relatively clean but quite basic. The gym was terrible and the swimming pool was quite good but extremely busy and could not cope with the number of guests. I would not recommend this hotel as there are many other hotels in Cha Am that are much better.
Nice and comfortable with no major dramas.”
Apart from their poor internet regime of access and limits, our stay was very nice. Great breakfasts and close to many restaurants. Went to one further up the beach where the food was the best I've tasted at a good price. Can't remember the name though but is was obviously popular with Germans even though the food was Thai.
it was a great stay!!”
What a great stay, we spent our new year eve at this hotels. The beach also very close to the hotel. Kids spent everyday to play on the beach. It was easy to go to Hua Hin by using hotel shuttle or outside doubke cabin rent taxi. It really worth all the penny we paid
