clean nice hotel”
long beach cha am has just been renovated I think because the rooms and en-suite look nice and new (unlike the lift), they have a problem with birds on the balcony's, so not so nice when I arrived although when I made them aware of this they were very quick to come and clean it for us, breakfast buffet is one of the best I have had in my years of travelling in Thailand (pastries are amazing, think they make then on site), I am in my early 40'S and the hotel did feel like an old peoples home which isn't really a problem for me but just thought I'd mentioning it, overall my stay was enjoyable but a little over priced.
Spacious Room, Great View, Delicious Breakfast”
cha-am is a quiet city, but a good place to relax for a long weekend. long beach is not a new hotel...the building is quite old but they have done a good bit of remodeling to keep up with the times. the breakfast was bountiful and i actually got some maple (flavored) syrup with my pancakes and french toast. (most hotels in thailand just offer honey.) anyway, the room was big and the bed soft enough. the shower had great pressure but wasn't as hot as i would have liked. fabulous view and nice little balcony to have a drink and relax on. nice pool bar area. overall, hotel stay and food was well worth the price paid.
delightful and of superior value”
Long Beach, in my opinion, is the best hotel in the $50 range in Cha Am. The most impressive aspect is what you DON'T see: that on the balcony you do NOT see the (dreadful) condenser for the air conditioning pumping out hot air at you -- a most rare and unusual sight. Ask for a room facing the north. You will get an unobstructed view. (Now, when you deal with the front desk, please be aware that there is a large and constant turn-over of front desk personnel. This is told to me by the bellboy who seems to know what is going on. So, don't expect the front desk to be helpful. But, there is always ONE lady in her early 40s who would be able to help you.)
Good all round place to stay in Cha-Am”
This 3rd stay at the Long Beach was excellent and our first time over the New year. The staff are just great there and are attentive to your needs promptly. Although the hotel was fully booked, at breakfast time they had it all covered and both mornings turning up on the later side made no difference as all was available for Thai or foreign taste. BTW: The bread selection here is delightful with various German style breads from their own onsite bakery. IMO, the breakfast at this hotel is one of the best you'll get in Thailand. We managed to get a recently renovated pool view room and they have been upgraded nicely. The bathrooms have been well done and the shower is tops. I see though from reading that some have been unhappy, due to renovation work done and still some ongoing. My advice 1) Ask for a room that isn't 'North facing' as that side of the hotel does presently have some construction work going on (abliet NO noise over NY) 2) Check what and when is coming up this year (I believe the swimming pool is to be done next). Yes, I will at some point go for a 4th trip here ... my stop for Cha-Am it is :-)
Nice hotel with friendly and good sevice.”
the cha-am long beach hotel is a very nice hotel, located one minute from the beach. it is at the end of a soi and is very quiet. the staff are very professional and curteous and speak english well. there is a good swimming pool, a very good restaurant with cheap prices located on the beach front. the restaurant offers a very nice and complete breakfast buffet. overall a very good hotel and i will stay there again in my next trip to cha am.
the best hotel”
I would recommend this hotel we could not fault anything about the hotel,we had our young daughter with us we asked if they had a cot for her they did have cots which is a rare thing in Thailand and there was not a charge for it,there was a safe in the room and again no charge.the room was a good size and very clean, the bed was comfy and big.the staff was excellent all over the hotel.the hotel was only a few minutes from the beach which was very clean and lots of sunbeds to hire out.this part of cha-am is not lively with night life so not full of piss heads,we will be going back to this hotel in the future
Beach Get-Away”
Really enjoyed our Jr. Suite we booked thru Agoda. This hotel stays busy all year booking Seminars, Weddings, Parties, and Business Group meetings. Was met at our car by Conceign and Desk Clerk, who checked us in during a Group checkin, making us feel like a VIP. Many new facilities added since our last visit, besides the second pool. Cha-Am Beach location is a day or weekend visit for the people from Bangkok and surrounding area. Traffic can be a headache. Easy walk to restaurants (Italian, English, Scandinavian), 7-11, and the Beach.
great service friendly staff”

Hotel for Family”
We like this hotel and will be back if we go to Cha Am again. The hotel has been just recently renovated so you can request a newly renovated room when you make a booking. We traveled with 2 daugthers (2 years old for both of them) and a nanny. We booked a family room which is quite big so our kids had a space to run around. The beach is also very close and there is 7-11 at the front of the hotel. We really had a great time here.
Good hotel, nice rooms”
i visited this hotel already many years, because of the friendly admosphere and the charming place cha am. in december was my last visit. the rooms and most of the public areas are succesfully completely renovated . the pool was still under renovation, but we could use the pool of the next door hotel. i have been told that the pool wil be re-opened in january.
Exceptional”
This is our 3rd visit to Long Beach Cha-Am. Excellent Breakfast variety. Staff friendly and polite. Everything you need is a short walk away.

Hotel by the beach with great service”
We booked three rooms to spend New Year's Eve at Long Beach Hotel. The hotel was by the beach and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. New Year's eve was spent at the shore by the beachfront where fire lanterns was released by almost everyone close to midnight. Group of families and friends were celebrating, waiting for countdown. It was so breathtaking to see the fire lanterns released and the sky was lit with beautiful fireworks and lanterns. The rooms were very clean, and well maintained. The bathrooms were big and clean. Hotel staff were friendly and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. 7/11 was a few steps away from the hotel, and restaurants are close by. Swimming pool of the hotel was being renovated, but it was decorated with Christmas ornaments, so it wasn't that bad to look at. Hotel breakfast was great! We spent most of the day at the beach, just eating, sun-bathing and swimming. Most hotel guests are Europeans travelling with their children. Over all, we enjoyed our stay at the Long Beach Hotel. We would come back again in the future, and book at this hotel.
Old standard hotel, two minutes from the beach”
I and my wife stayed here for two nights, on our first visit to Cha-am. The hotel was around 3 minutes walk to the beach. The hotel is large and quite old. Rooms are fairly large but furnishing are showing their age. I think if I stayed in Cha-am again I would choose a more central soi, maybe something around soi 5. The hotel had its own coffee shop, restaurant and massage shop. I used the coffee shop and found it quite pleasant. A nice touch is that the hotel provides slippers and beach towels in your room.
fleeting moments of fun and relaxation”
I had a very good relaxed stay at the Long Beach Cha Am Hotel. Tucked in at the north side of Cha am in the quieter side we enjoyed our bicycle rides ( you can rent it for 30 bath ). Seafood restaurants are all close by and some nice pubs where you can enjoy good music while enjoying your drinks. The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful which makes our stay here very enjoyable.
Good hotel, good location, nice breakfast ”
In the region of Cha am where we lived it felt like being somewhere in Norway - not alot of Thai people. The beach was nice but the sand i brownish, not like Koh Samet or the other beautiful islands. The breakfast was very good, with a good varaity of food. Negative, I think the pool should be open longer than 18.00 and it's very shallow. But overall a nice hotel. With good value for your money.
Perfect Place for Vacation”
As I frequent stay in this hotel, I most likely get adjustment for some minimal needs such as coffee maker facility which is not provided but I can ask from the hotel to bring in our room. Should you dine in at their restaurant, just remind them about your order if you feel like they serve quite slow. Just only one thing in the bathroom when I take a bath is that the curtain in the bathtub should be extended as the water spills out and the area gets wet. Should be careful as it might be slippery. Overall, staying at Long Beach Chaam Hotel is always a memorable one. You can go Hua Hin City Center (15-20mins drive) at anytime for any activities and go back to the hotel. You will feel the serenity and the real feeling of unwinding specially after having the massage. I have recommended the hotel to my friends and they have also shared the same feeling.
Not too expensive with good service”
Got a good promotion from Agoda including free breakfast and lunch meald for 3 day 2 nights with welcome drink. The location is good and convenient to travel to another place in Cha-am. There is a convenient store name 7-Eleven in front of the hotel. The overall for this place is 7 out of 10.
Supurb location and great price”
This is an older hotel, but has undergone renovations. It's location is unbeatable, within walking distance of almost everything Cha-am has to offer. Breakfast was great. Rooms were spacious. Staff was efficient. Lots of restaurants just outside. A stone's throw from the beach.
it was a great stay!!”
What a great stay, we spent our new year eve at this hotels. The beach also very close to the hotel. Kids spent everyday to play on the beach. It was easy to go to Hua Hin by using hotel shuttle or outside doubke cabin rent taxi. It really worth all the penny we paid
Pleasant, Superb Location”
The hotel was a little difficult to locate as it was in one of the soi, not externally facing, which turned out to be one of its advantage as it was quiet, but nearby Cha-am's main beach strip. Whilst I was booking the hotel, I read some reviews from previous travellers that the hotel was under renovation (dated 2012), well, some parts still are. Overall though, for the price, it was good value. As I had the Junior Suite overlooking the pool, it was a really nice stay. Would recommend anyone with family or relaxation on their minds.
