Long Island is the loveliest guesthouse I have ever stayed in, this place makes me feel like home. The guesthouse is clean and comfortable as they clean it everyday. Bus stop is right outside the guesthouse, you can see Seongsan Ilchulbong just by looking out the guesthouse window, ferry to Udo is just 8-10 minutes walk away. Most importantly the lovely hosts are so kind and helpful, will definitely stay here if I go back to Jeju again.

good location, nice view & peace”
It would be a good choice for those travelers who are looking for a beautiful view over the sea and Seosang Ilchulbong Peak. The location is perfect, near to seashore, close to the peak's entrance and just across to the bus stop (#201, 722-1,722-1). If you walk along the beach till the 'Healing house' or "Cloud9" hotel you'll get just another awesome view of the Ilchulbong Peak and Udo island. The Hostel itself was clean and warm and simple, so was the breakfast ( coffee or tea and fried-rice with veggies). The managers, family owners, are very lovely, chill people, they speak just a bit English but it's enough to communicate. I loved the way how do they treat e.o and their friendly dog. After checking out I stayed much longer in the common area, they didn't say anything, didn't charge. I would recommend to stay here for a night or max two if you are planning to visit Seongsan and Udo, but then move to Seogwipo city.

The owner and families are very helpful and nice! The room is really neat and clean! So satisfied with the layout of the room where we have a lot of space to place our luggage. Most importantly, the breakfast is great! The location is strategic and very near to seongsan ilchulbong (around 5 minutes walk). Overall it's a nice stay.

This guesthouse is perfect if you want to hike Seongsan Illchubong at sunrise. It's very close and easy to get to. Breakfast was porridge, which was quite delicious and filling in the morning. It's also opposite from the bus stop, so you can easily get around.

I just stayed here for one night to catch the sunrise at Seongsan Ilchubong which was nearby, took me only a few minutes walk to reach there which was super convenient. The staff was very friendly and always smiling the whole time. I arrived earlier than the actual check-in time, and left a bit later than the checkout time too, but they helped to keep my luggage there at the reception area. It was generally a very wonderful stay.

My hand phone doesn’t, work during my stay in this guesthouse. I lost my contact with my family & they are so worried.The owner is so thoughtful & generous. what else do you need when the guesthouse is just a few minutes away from Ilchubong? a nice warm place with great staff (Kumog, thank you!). great complimentary breakfast and a bus stop in front of the guest house, ease my stay there. the staff speaks good english with a great tips on which road and shortcuts to take.

Everything was within expectations. The surrounding place is essentially dead after 8.00pm. Everything was quiet then so don't expect anything of late night activity. I guess traveler only stay here for the sunrise peak and udo island attractions. The one thing that surprise me was that the beds have some kind of heat mat which you can individually control so you can sleep feeling warm on your underside

I showed up, to find that although it has already charged me through Agoda, my name was not in the log book. Luckily, it was not a high season, so I was given a bed. To find convenience stores, we need to walk towards Seongsan Sunrise Peak. I was not told I could get free drinking water from their lounge. There is no room key. So, anyone could enter your room in the unguarded building. Breakfast is offered only from 9 to 10am, which does not seem to be flexible.

Disappointing stay - no shared kitchen as advertised. The only hostel I have ever stayed in where you had to leave the property (between 10 and 4) to clean. No common room - could only stay in bedroom. No breakfast (toast/eggs) as advertised, only rice/soup. (The owner kindly made this for me later, but very small breakfast). No information/maps to help plan trips/no English unfortunately. Owners were friendly and tried to be helpful but I stayed in 2 better hostels in Jeju-si & Seogwipo which were a lot cheaper -for 10,000W a night less. The dorm however was big with a comfortable bed. Expensive hostel for the limited facilities.

Best Guesthouse I've stayed at in Korea! ”
They owner's were super friendly, and although English was a bit difficult at times they remained very calm and friendly. The building is super clean, breakfast is nice, and you can wake up with a ocean or sunrise peak view! I absolutely enjoyed my stay here. On my arrival day, the owners waited for me in the evening, because I had missed my bus and kept the hostel open very late. Nice clean bathrooms, and right next to the intercity bus stop too. Super good experience.
