Air-Con Bunk”
Came with 4 other friends from Singapore and we decided to get to Air-Con. We were dominating the room, it was so fun. There is always activity to do at night; loving the Pop-Quiz - made tons of new friends. The food there is restaurant standard but at a very affordable price. Beer is cheap too! There are also $1 meal everyday which changes everyday! And did I say its open 24 hours. Staff are friendly and accommodating! I would recommend this place to everyone! Thanks for the great stay!

Great place to stay ”
Longson is one of my all time favourite hostels. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Activities organized every night, a 24 hour bar and its right on the beach. The only downside is that it is outside of town. You can take the bus into town as it comes every 20 min outside the hostel. Highly recommend

Very peaceful and fun”
Pros: Great place to relax and get away from touristic areas. You can feel very close to nature, and the sunrise is beautiful to watch. The volunteer staff working there are really nice and welcoming - they are the lifeblood of the hostel! Food and drinks are readily available and at a fair price. It is also really easy to socialise here as the common area is very open, and they organise events every night. Cons: Vietnamese staff (apart from one man) were completely disinterested and unwelcoming. Rice wasn't very nice. Soap in toilets could have been filled up more often. Lots of plastic on beach.

Good place to hangout and surf”
A lot of solo backpackers to meet as well :-) The tent can be very hot to stay in during summer, so consider to book a bed in a dorm if you are staying when its hoooot.

Good chill vibes”
Most of the staff are lovely and very friendly! I got ill the first day I arrived and one of the security guards was super nice and helpful even gave me some of his own medicine. The beach is right on your tent step! They also offer tours to the dunes etc. The only downside is that you don't have much communication with the locals because it's sort of an enclosed resorty type. However, if you just want to relax for a few days it's an ideal spot !

Good place to chill”
It was a great time to stay by the beach and enjoyed the fresh air at LongSon MuiNe. The price is acceptable with the facilities. The location is quite far from the town and around there’s no restaurant or souvenir shop. But with the beautiful beach, atmosphere and landscape, nothing to complain if you want to chill and separate from the crowd. Food and drinks at this place are good too.

Just for holiday, stayed 3 nights ”
Foreign staff was great and helpful, Vietnamese stuff at bar was unprofessional, special those on taking orders, half of them they don’t understand you and they just ignore you when you asking something. The sea is not for swimming just for surfing so for those who looking place for swim to be aware of that. Atmosphere in place was great and chill, foreign staff tried to make some entertainment every night. Cool place with cool ppl.

Cleanliness Issue”
Really need to improve the cleanliness. There are a lot mosquitoes. Besides, the location is good, but too noisy at night. I could not sleep.

Very good”
Very cheap! A bit far from the rest of Mui Ne. I got a tent on the beach, which was perfectly fine for how much I paid for it. Quiet during rainy season.

Like going to a playground ”
This place confused us, It was like a failed circus with staff flinging sticks round and swinging from the rafters. They had volunteer staff which is great but you couldn’t really tell who was staff. On arrival the Vietnamese staff ignored us and then a guy and girl drinking beer did come to check us in. The guy was very friendly. Unfortunately the Vietnamese staff were rude, unfriendly and unhelpful the whole time and hardly spoke English. They never had change at the tills (reception or bar) , they seemed to be annoyed at us for it and there isn’t anything/anywhere around to get change. Although slightly more expensive but due to convenience we booked our bus to HCMC with them. We were picked up opposite the resort but there was NO seats on the bus so we had to sit on the floor. We were told by volunteer staff we’d have a transfer to our hotel once in HCMC but that never happened so we were left with 20/30min walk at night. Small portion of the beach infront of the resort was beautiful but the sea and rest of beach littered with plastic, it’s very sad to see. The toilets and shower facilities were kept clean - very good and the food was decent. Not much to do at or around the resort itself but you can get a bus to town.

Nice isolated place from the city with private beach and facilities”
It has different options for staying, we tried the tent, it was comfortable and nice, I just wanted to highlight to the owner and staff that they need to spend more efforts on the maintenance of the shared bathrooms and and shared facilities. In addition they have to conduct a daily cleaning for the lounge area, specially where people can seat and layout

Tent is nice idea”
Tent is nice idea, but it’s very hot and sandy! The tour was good but the driver wasn’t very nice at all. Nice place but long way out of the centre and have to get a bus even to the ATM

Bedbugs & Rats”
I was attacked by bedbugs and sandflies. Lots of them, not only in my mattress but also on the stained and nasty couches in the common area. I look like a monster now, full of swelling red bites. Other than that, you have to get used to see rats literally having party around you. The place altogether is disgusting, full of sandflies, flying cockroaches and rats. Toilets are so reckless, bins overflowing of paper, the floor all flooded, and the staff at the bar is so rude. They don't like to work, they just wanna keep playing with their phone. I asked for a refund, and after having the rich owner stop counting notes and come to see how I look, I got $2 off the bill.

Nice place to hang out, every day activities. ”
We slep in a tent on the beach for only $3 dollar a night! Amazing how it was to sleep in with the sound off the sea water. If you dont want to get woken up in your tent by the sun at aprox. 6 o’clock you can choice for a dorm our a tent in the shadow without seaview. A bus can bring you to the centre of Mui Ne for d.16.000 ($1) from the front of the hostel in around 20 min. Lots of different foods from all over the world at the food court. And specially seafood is a big thing over there. Vegetarian? Go and have a look at the vegetarian court, many choice. But to eat good food (and it’s a little cheaper) you can also eat at in the hostel, many choice and also for vegetarians there is planty to order. (Fried noodle with veggie our claypot eggplant with rice was one of the things I ate. Well done!!) Only one con for Longson: Pleace check you pillow because mine was ready for replacement. Thanks for the good time! Sue and Joep

Exceptional”
Beautiful sunrise, beach, sand, night sky and stars in front the hostel. Well maintained and relaxing environment. Try 1$ daily meal. It's great, esp the kebab. Different program every night. If you don't want to join, they won't bug you. Love to stay here. Note: this is not about the hostel, but since I ordered this tour from the hostel I should make review also. This Mui Ne jeep tour is not supposed to be offered in that hostel. Bad service from the driver. He tried to make more money for himself, so he let us not to explore the white dunes. Instead he asked to get another vehicle once we got there. The rest of the tour, rush..rush..rush..rush. Enough saying, just be careful with this Mui Ne jeep tour

Hi Cincin We are glad you had a mostly positive experience here at Long Son. We are sorry that the Jeep tour was not up to your expectations. Occasionally we have problems with some drivers but we work closely with the company to try to keep the standard as high as we can. That being said we can only do so much as it is a separate company. We you will consider staying with us again. Kind Regards Jamie Campground Manager
