Great styled homestay”
The design, rest and comfort of this homestay leaves all the Bangkok hectic outside and brings all the chillaxedness in. Very comfortable rooms with even the possibility to do your laundry in the washing machines. The licing room very convenient plus use of all cooking stuff.

Amazing property and hospitality!”
We stayed in the normal room as well as the suite (thanks to a free upgrade). The rooms were amazing. The facilities were very good. The property (reception, terrace and other common areas) was extremely beautiful and clean. The owner was extremely friendly and helped us during the stay. The location was good as well. Highly recommend this to everyone!

Luxurious home away from home”
If you want to feel like a bangkokian in a luxurious home, don't hesitate. This building belonged to the family for generations and was turned into a beautiful home-stay. It is located in a local area with local markets and restaurants nearby. You have to grab a taxi to go everywhere else but there are plenty just across the street and if you're a familiar to Bangkok then you know it is the cheapest and common way to move around the city. We stayed for 3 nights with our 2 year old son and we enjoyed it so much!!! There is also a coffee shop on the ground floor that serves honestly one of the best if not the best ice-coffee in town. We would definitely come back!

Triple and Family rooms superb”
Book either the Triple room or Family room and your rooms will be on highest floor, with access to the rooftop deck. Accommodations were superb and owner quickly replaced my room key card when I lost it the first night. Free access to washing machine and detergent was provided. Recommend highly. Loved our stay.

Fantastic - hard to beat”
For a price much less than most chain hotels we had a whole half floor suite to ourselves. Location is good, in a local neighbourhood by 10 minutes by Grab to most places (do yourself a favour and download this app - so cheap to get around), clean, comfortable, spacious and lovely owners who will go out of their way to assist. With the help of TripAdvisor and Agoda reviews I’ve stayed in many excellent places but I think this one has spoilt me, will be very hard to beat.

a good stay in Bangkok”
I had a 1 night visit.. hotel comfort outstanding! Taxis cheap and frequent (had no problem finding the hotel) There is an adjoining sandwich on the main floor.. great meat pies; also, there is a hotel 'honor system' for a few basic things like beer! just leave your money for what you bought.

Family Friendly Accommodation ”
We enjoyed our stay, the host was lovely and not in your face, very helpful when you need her. Short walk to a local market for food, quiet neighborhood and very suitable for families who want to be away from the buzz of Bangkok. The train station is far and so are most attractions, you must take a cab to most places just use Grab, we also used the local bus to get to the Grand Palace, it was easy, interesting and cheap. I would recommend the place especially for families.

Quiet retreat in the heart of Bangkok”
We loved staying at LoogChoob Homestay, a treasure & oasis in hectic Bangkok with beautiful architecture & design & a rooftop deck overlooking the city. Sukanya could not have been more pleasant, helpful or accommodating. We felt welcome and safe in this local neighborhood within walking distance of the old city. Sukanya directed us to a nearby market where we ate delicious Thai dishes with locals, the same market featured on Anthony Bourdain. We only wish we had been able to stay longer!

Unique In Design - One of Bangkok's Gems”
Our stay at LoogChoob Homestay was most enjoyable. As seasoned travellers, finding this gem was a real treat and very good value. Our room was oustanding - a suite with and a sitting room, a large bathroom,with a walk in shower, and freestanding tub. Additional facilities on our floor included a private lounge, and access to the rooftop patio that added to our personal enjoymentt. Although breakfast was not included, there was a small kitchen with unlimited coffee and tea and markets nearby. Our hosts were thoughtful, knowledgeable and friendly.and very well organized providing us with assistance in so many ways.

Best hotel, best staffs.”
LoogChoob was the best experience we have ever had. The design is genius, thoughtful, staff/owner was very helpful helping us dealing with special situation. I have watched a Japanese show about how engineers were going to different families to redesign/reconstruct their houses to better suit their needs, I was shocked how thoughtful and brillient the engineers were when picturing the whole, while not forgetting the highlights to create something surprising and sweet for the families. Here at LoogChoob, when I was lying in bed and look at everything, I felt the same. Absolutely the best choice I have ever made stayinbg here. And thanks to the owner and staffs, and the owner's brother who designed this place, it was a great pleasure to stay at your place, and we truely appreciate everything had been offered.

After first night there we changed plans and stayed an extra night. Then after a week traveling in northern Thailand we elected to spend our last three nights in Bangkok at the the LoogChoob. It just worked so well forus. The homestay nature of the place was something we could take advantage of. Laundry something we could do, and I can't say enough about the ease with which the staff treated us. Great flexibility and accomadation for our early arrival one day and late departure on our last day. If we needed guidance or information we knew to ask.Maps and directions to the hotel were of great help. It is not the best known hotel, but with the help of printed maps given us by the staff after very first arrival it was an easy trip to anywhere in town. Common areas are large and comfortable on each floor, and while there is not a provided breakfast they do have a full set up to make your own snacks wnd drinks each day at any time you want. Pretty much a complete kitchen set up on each floor shared between two suites. If you can do a few things for yourself this place can give the feeling of being at home.

Exceptional”
We had a great 4 night stay at LoogChoob Homestay. The whole place is well designed and fitted out from the owner's original family home. Wonderfully helpful and friendly, they have created a lovely place to stay with attention to detail and great facilities. It is away from the chaos and craziness of some of the busier districts, yet has it's own charm with nearby markets, the canal and some good eating places within a ten minute walk.

Several years after staying at Loogchoob, it is still my favourite homestay style hotel! The family is super nice and friendly. It created a relaxing and helpful atmosphere for tourists. The design of the hotel is chic, while it provides enough privacy and shared space for every visitor. I miss my days at LoogChoob!

Amazing stay”
We stayed in loogchoob for 2 nights upon arrival in Bangkok and it is amazing - for your money you get a luxury bathroom, little balcony and a quiet and clean location. If you have been travelling for a while and want something chilled or are a couple looking for somewhere lovely away from the hustle and bustle this is the place for you. They offer a free laundry service and cooking facilities which were unecessary for us but so lovely to have. In the morning they provide breakfast as free - snack like but you don't pay for it and there's still plenty to be had. All the staff are so friendly and helpful - cannot praise this place enough! Would thoroughly recommend. It's slightly out of the way - but you can walk to all the major sights and ko sahn road - but when taxis are only 50 baht we were a little bit lazy! Fantastic!”
LoogChoob was a great place to relax. The room I had was the largest, sitting room with fridg, bedroom had television and I went to the top floor where the early morning and night view of the city was grand. You can sit up there and take in Bangkok as if it were a photo. Amazing. There is a place where you can cook, eat, keep your food, and the hosts had coffee, tea, and an assortment of food for breakfast. Will I return? You bet.

Unbeatable value for money!”
We loved the room and hotel designs - especially the open roofdeck with great city views! While the homestay is quite hard to find, even by cabs, this also means that you're far from the noisy crowds and bars of Khaosan Road. The family owners also go out of their way to ensure you have a pleasant stay in Bangkok. Unbeatable value for money!

Designed with taste, cozy, feels like home”
This is a little charming homestay, with staff who do their best for you to enjoy your stay. At arrival you will get plenty of information about neighborhood and all the useful information you need about the hotel. Interior is designed with so much taste, so cozy and with common areas which make you feel at home. Rooms are nice, well organized, and in excellent condition. Very clean - like a five star hotel! Room terrace/balcony is a big plus. On every floor there is a small kitchenette with coffee/tea and snacks, and there is a complimentary pastry and cereals in the morning. A very nice gesture from the owner. Location is not touristy and a bit out of the way, and even with a map we had problems finding a taxi driver which knew the way to get us there. Beds are a little too hard. I would definitely recommend this lovely homestay as it is a hospitality at its best.

Friendly staff, great facilities”
Pros - very friendly and helpful staff, spacious and clean room with modern interior design, good communal facilities (e.g. Kitchenette) and good wifi; Con - Hotel was located off the beaten track at a local neighbourhood that was dimly lit, which felt slightly unsafe at night. Not a problem though if taking taxi to and from hotel. Overall I enjoyed the stay and would recommend Loog Choob Homestay to anyone visiting Bangkok.

Wish we'd stayed longer!”
We lived our stay at LoobChoob homestay. We arrived too early for check off of a long distance flight. LoobChoob showed us where we could shower and sleep until our room was ready. The location was great and it was a perfect end to the evening enjoying a beer on the rooftop terrace with the views of Bangkok.
