Great location
Great location
Hotel location good, many bakery shops and eatery shops. Walking distance to taipei train station n ximending ... Room environment good but was dusty especially the windows. U can c the glass r dusty. Had left a cup that has coffee mark on it. To my surprise the cup remains the same when we came back from shopping. The design of the bath room n toilets are bad. Wonder y they put the basin outside the bathrooms. If share room with friend. We had to left the room for them to bath as the bathroom are glass .

Pretty alright, but old toilet system
Central location, clean rooms
The hotel is very near the National Taiwan University hospital subway station, so walking there is quite easy. The hotel is also (quite literally) just around the corner from a couple of major museums. Ximending is a 10 minute walk away. The hotel has no view. Don't attempt to open the window, because there isn't any to open! The beds are comfy enough, but the toilet facilities leave quite a bit to be desired. The bathroom and toilet are in separate cubicles, but the whole thing is glass (with translucent frosted stickers pasted onto it), so unless you're lovers, only one person can use it at any point in time. The other person will have to look away during bath time. Also, the cubicle doors don't reach to the ceiling, so there's a gap where air (and smells) might escape into the whole room. And because the toilet system is old, you're not supposed to throw the toilet paper into the toilet, you have to throw your soiled tissues into an open waste basket. Not very hygienic. Counter staff are excellent, they helped us arrange for a great driver for our day trip to Yehliu and Jiufen. You have to pay for extra key cards.
