Best hotels & accommodations in Loop

I've enjoyed 2 stays at the Hyatt Regency Chicago and will definitely stay there again next time. The service is perfect and staff show genuine care and concern for guests. They attended to my every need and looked for other ways to assist on things I didn't even think of. And I really enjoy the breakfast buffet... one of the best in comparison to all hotels I've st...

This hotel that opened for the Chicago World's fair in 1893 sits in the heart of Chicago's downtown (the Loop), with beautiful views of Lake Michigan, Grant and Millennium Parks, and the Buckingham fountain that is right across the street. Given the prime location, you would think it would long ago have been replaced by a post-modern resort that would cost several time...

I booked this hotel because everywhere I normally stay was sold out and I found a good deal. I was really pleasantly surprised - the St Jane is a gem. Beautiful, large rooms that are tastefully decorated and very welcoming staff. A few minor issues - my room wasn’t ready for check in, housekeeping could have been a little more detail oriented with things like folding t...

The hotel is in a very handy location close to most things you want to see and do. It is modern, clean and at the same time, homely. That is down to the attentive staff. The front desk are very helpful with tips and advice and the doorman treats you like his favourite guest. A nice way to be greater on your return from a day’s sightseeing.

I came to USA for business trip to Grand Rapids, MI. So this is one of the nearest Big city from there, so I came here. For the trip, I read throu "Lonely Planet: Eastern USA", and they recommend ONLY this hotel for visit on Chicago. That is the most reason why I choose this hotel. Cause this hotel was founded late of 1800s, so it has more than 120 years of histo...

The staff was the highlight. Maisha, the front desk person, was most helpful - even before we arrived - and remembered my name and specifics when I called the morning of. She volunteered that my room was ready for me - at 8:00 am - much to my surprise! The staff was friendly and helpful - even after I suffered a rather severe cut on my foot in their room. The rooms we...

Located right in the loop close to Millennium Park. Can walk almost anywhere in 15-20 minutes. Hotel was nice and clean. Staff was ok, but asked for extra towels to be brought to the room several times before I just had to go down to lobby and get them.

Great staff. Convenient location. Well kept and updated. Good food at the restaurant and neighborhood -- generally speaking, yummy food around Chicago! Room very clean -- service a bit slow, but perhaps low manpower? Still, nice and clean. $16 Urban fee was a bit much -- that is, in-room espresso machine was wonky and made bad coffee (an upgrade would be good); we didn...

We got a view with such a great view! Most rooms either have a city or river view but we got a room with the river and a view of the lake! The room was nice and the bathroom was spacious! There was no bathtub, which agoda advertised for, but the bathroom was still really nice. Will definitely book again!

Great location close to shopping inside the loop. Clean room with a river view and friendly staff. They have a nice restaurant in the lobby with local/craft beers and the view from the rooftop is amazing (although it is pricey up there). Valet was also very expensive ($58 a night) so factor that in if you are driving into town.

Our stay at the Radisson was excellent. Couldn't really fault any part. Upon checking in the staff asked if we wanted to upgrade to business for our stay which was reduced to $40 per night (from the standard $75). We decided to do it and it was the best decision we made. The breakfast and evening drinks by far covered the cost. The concierge was very knowledgable and...

Elevator upgrades in process. The remaining elevators are inadequate. This is understandable, however the staff and hotel management have appeared to make minimal effort to mitigate the deficiencies. For example, the housekeeping staff was telling the guests in the middle floors (of 38) to push both buttons and take rides up so that they can be more likely to get i...

The hotel is 10 minutes walk from S. Michigan Ave so is very handy for a good range of tourist and business venues. It is reasonably priced compared to many others in the area, but clean, comfortable and I had a spacious room. A little wear and tear showing in the bathroom, but it was kept very clean. Breakfasts in the restaurant seemed to be a bit pricey and the menu ...

I had a pleasant time at the Allegro Hotel. I stayed 4 nights. I couldn't understand why we only received 2 breakfast tickets per night, when we paid for 3 adults. The Hotel was very clean all the time. All the staff were very nice whenever we engaged. i loved the location. i would have to say that over all, i had a great time(because of the stay i had with you!

I was please that I checked in early and how polite and helpful the receptionist and the concierge were. The hotel was lovely, decorated lovely, and had a great atmosphere. The cocktails were great and the fresh cup of coffee in the morning was a great touch. With all this greatness I was very surprised to find 3 flaws. Once I entered my room upon checking in, I found ...

I traveled to Chicago with four friends for a 4 day trip. We did not know anything about this hotel before and booked it only because it was cheapest. It turned out that it was quite a perfect choice. The beds are quite clean and comfort, and the hotel is near several famous attractions like the Art Institute, Skydeck, Shedd Aquarium and Field Museum. It's also near th...

i love Kimptons and have stayed at several. This one is aptly named -- the room was v. small and dark, odd organization of space and no drawers. Location is noisy but that is to be expected in the loop; the rooms are fairly quiet. Not bad value for $200/night (relatively), just not my usual experience w/the brand.

I stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights with my boyfriend. I like it because it’s very close to everything. I noticed that they don’t have reviews that much, to be honest, it’s very cheap but worth it. I mean, I only paid for like 50-60usd per night and I’m right in the center of the city, walking distance to the orange line, millenium park, target, walgreens, cafes and ...

This is a unique hotel as per it's location on the top floor of the Stock Exchange Building. Clearly there is a "corporate" feel to the place. Finding room is not self evident, but very intriguing via two lifts, and hotel staff/building security is very friendly and happy to give directions. Once in your room the stunning vista of downtown Chicago from your "picture...

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Club Quarters Central Loop Hotel. We included a dinner at the Elephant and Castle Pub, & while the food was not superb, it was good enough and our waitress was attentive without being pesky. We enjoyed the lobby/gathering areas for leisurely chatting. It would have been nice to have the coffee/espresso machine on the ground level ...

i loved everything about this hotel. loved the location. breath taking view of the navy pier and river walk. the best thing about the hotel was how friendly the workers were there. from the valet/doormen, check in desk, room service, to the spa employees. loved the pool and work out area. everything you could want was there. had an amazing trip.

My wife and I were in town for a convention/business meeting; all of the other convention hotels had already been booked, so we took a chance on the Hotel Monaco and had a fantastic stay. The location is fantastic, on the north end of the Loop, within easy walking distance of the CTA and Metra (headed south, Millenium station - Ogilvie station, which heads north, is ...

The room is tiny and my luggage bag takes up 1/2 the space between the corridor to the bathroom. Other that that, I have no complaints as everything is clean. Love the fact that there's fast WiFi without additional charges. There's also purified cold water together with free bottles provided on certain floors. I'm not sure if it's an American thing but there's no ...
