Lovely Seaside Resort”
We stayed at Lor In resort for four nights. We booked the largest rooms available, which were comfy and offered king size beds. They also had Balinese style outdoor bathrooms which were very large and tiled with red marble. The resort has a large pool and dining area. The staff here were excellent and always did their best to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay. The resort offers private transport, rental of bicycles and mopeds, and in-service massages. I'd stay there again if I go back to Belitung Island.

It's a paradise! Ideal to disconnect ”
My stay in Lor in Belitung was excellent. The location is amazing and so is the landscape, plus the huge swimming pool open 24/7, a yummy buffet breakfast. The open roof bathroom with both shower and a huge hot tub is really a plus. Too bad the heater was too small to let you fill up the tub with hot water. The only bad thing was the wifi. the signal could not reach our house and even if you go to the reception the signal is not even reliable to check your email, but again it's a good place to disconnect! I will definetely come back again

Lovely location Hotel with bad maintenance”
Lorin Hotel is located on the heart of heaven location in West-north Belitung. It is near to 'Laskar Pelangi Beach' and Tanjung Kelayang Port. You can easily see beautiful beach from hotel. The hotel itself is build with bali style. It is very quiet and peaceful. But regarding the maintenance is very minimum. A lot of broken facility inside the room make guest not comfortable enough. I hope management think more to renovate rooms and all facility become much-much better.

Lovely hotel but needs maintenance”
stayed during long weekend, the resort is full but not crowded at all. we've got the 3rd farthest bungalow from the lobby, and with a 2yr old with us, it's a bit too far to go back and forth. by design, the bungalow and open bathroom is really nice and quite big, however it needs maintenance. our minifridge is not cold and lamp near the wardrobe is off (told the frontdesk staff twice). nothing is near this resort, except the beach. some seafood restaurants are located on the main entrance of the beach, but it is quite a walk. best to hire a car with driver.

Pros and Cons”
A bit past its prime, you can tell that this was once a high end resort. For a couple this would have been a nice location. But for us, with 2 younger children it had a mix of good and bad. The location is nice, right across the road from a beach. The pool is a bit sketchy, but we let our kids use it. The staff are very friendly but have limited English. We ended up using google translate quite a bit. The breakfast buffet is good. A full range of Asian and Western foods, even pancakes for the kids. They do try to get their money out of in other ways though. The Belitung maps were 35 000Rp. We were given one free at another place on the island. We ordered 4 bicycles for the day and they only brought 3, weird things like that. We could not get wifi in our room. We had to basically be in the main lobby.

Nice Hotel with a very nice ocean view”
The hotel is okay, the staff were nice, bed was nice, building kinda old. Overall it was great. We rent a car with a driver, his name is Ateng (recommended if you visit belitung for the first time), his phone number 081977877178, he was very friendly and he knows all the nice place over there, like where to shop, eat, place to play, place with a nice view, etc etc.

In front of beach, isolated location with silence”
Maybe the only hotel which close to Tanjung Tinggi Beach (famous Indonesian movie, Laskar Pelangi site) with 30 minutes walking distance. Independent cottage type room was acceptable with secluded environment. But very little number of restaurant found except in Hotel. And it takes more than 30 minutes by car to Tanjung Pendam town. On top of that, no public transportation available, so need to reserve car with driver, but it's expensive, such as one day trip (Rp 600 thousand), just round trip to tanjung Pendam town in Rp350 thousand, etc... If you stay calm and enjoy resort within walking distance, they this should be one of your choice, but more actively see around inside island, then recommend to stay closer to Tanjung Pendam town for easy access to central town (very small though).

Great stay, hotel was alright. Beautiful decor, clean, amazing outdoor bathroom, great location. The beach is just right across the street. During my stay there, the beach was totally empty. The location is around 15 mins by bike to the city. Maybe that is why the beach is so isolated. But it is good cause i had the whole beach to myself during my stay there.

Ok hotel, but this place has seen better times”
The Lor In Belitung Hotel is not a Resort. It is some kind of homestay close to the abandoned beach of north Belitung which has definitely seen better times. The quality of the building is good, but maintenance was obviously not a top priority. The bed and matress was older than me and lots of insects can walk easily in and out of the room through cracks in the foundation and untight doors. Apart from that, the overall experience was still ok and the price was reasonable. The staff was polite and tried hard, breakfast was not too many choices but good quality. Overall, in light of the low availability of high class hotels on Belitung, this is a very good compromise to stay at and be close to the awesome beaches.

Location close to beach, quiet, close to seafood”
We were staying in Junior Suite during our holiday, the room was large with beach view. The bathroom was big too but it has no roof. If you are a clean freak and scare of gecko, you better not staying here. We moved to deluxe room because of a big gecko (tokek in indonesian) in our room started to make a noise

Fantastic Stay”
It was a fantastic stay. The location of the hotel was perfect. The beaches was stunning, especially the Tanjung Tinggi beach. The beaches were surrounded by big beautiful rocks, the sand was as white and soft as powder. I will definitely come back to this place.

Nice beach front villa”
I really enjoy our 2 nights stay here, especially for its location. You only have to cross the road to find a nice clean watered beach where you can swim safely (it's not deep at all) or just chillin by the beach all day. We were having babymoon here so we want to get as close as possible to the beach because we wouldn't go for island hopping. If you want, you can walk by the beach to the famous Tanjung Tinggi Beach where there are giant rocks. Even though I was 6 month pregnant, I walked from Lor In beach to Tanjung Tinggi beach (apprx. 2 km). Personally, I and my husband loved the beach in front of the Lor In better than Tanjung Tinggi beach.

The best location hotel with bad maintenance”
This is the second time I visit Lorin Hotel. The location is very strategic and nice for tourist, in front the hotel you can see and walk accross the road to the beach. Even no fence, but this hotel quite secure and very quiet. The beach itself is very calm, even there is no wave sound. It is very peaceful. The hotel is well-designed, with bali architecture, it is very nice and welcome to you. The room quite big with open-sky bathroom inside. Unfortunately, since the guests is not much, I think the hotel management want to reduce the cost with less persons and less maintenance. I found my room is without lamps in the terrace, the ants and flies is flying inside the bathroom is very annoying. The bed is already old and need to be replaced with the new one. all equipments are there but need maintenance and it is not proper to be served for four/five-star hotel. I hope the management should consider more about the maintenance since the have very good location.

Last days of this hotel?”
First things first: This seems to be the only hotel anywhere near the famous beaches and island hopping in the North West of Belitung. That's why we booked it, and that is the one advantage of this hotel. Both beaches are very close, and they rent motorbikes so you can reach them easily. To Tanjung Tinggi you can even walk, though it's not a pleasant beach walk all the way. But I can't but feel that this hotel will close its doors soon. There is a huge golf club development going on right behind it, according to the locals by the Soeharto family, that seems to go all the way to privatizing Tanjung Tinggi and building an extraordinarily ugly hotel complex right there, according to the brochures laid out at Lor In. Everything in the hotel seems to fall apart, the rooms, the dining area, the pool... There seem to be not many hotel options around, but this one is only your choice if you really want to stay up there in the North West, as us.

Hotel with a fantastic beach”
Front desk staff are very friendly and kind. There is a fantastic beautiful beach in front of the hotel. I think it is more beautiful and much much clean than the Tangi Beach. However, there is no sun umbrella or beach chair on the beach. Hotel must put such kind of facilities on the beach. The hotel price is reasonable. The hotel kitchen was very very dirty. Hotel management must do routine and frequent inspection/check of the cleanless of the kitchen. Try not to eat something from the kitchen. Transportation being provided by the hotel is expensive. Hotel rooms are old, needs to be renovated. They do not have small towel for face and hands. Except a small pool (Actually, no need it! there is a wonderful beach and sea in front of the hotel!), there is no any facility at the hotel for entertainment.

Near Beach, not too bad”
First time come to Belitung Island, stay here for 2 nights. Overall good, this hotel have bungalow style. The room quit small, but ok. Please be careful when you play in the beach, the mosquito here are different, and I got more than 10 bites in my legs. After 4 months still can see the dots.
