Odd establishment with very human staff”

The place was a bit scary, like one of these movies based in a Motel where creepy things happen at night. However, for one night of rest between the 2 legs of my flight from London to Honolulu, it did the job. I would not recommend anyone to spend more than one night, but would come again if the price were right.

cheap and cheerful place for a short stay.”

chosen for price and free airport shuttle. this place is reasonably basic, but does have some pluses over others, Free airport shuttle, nice clean hot pool, quiet Bar & cafe, lots of vending machines for drinks / snacks etc. Staff were fine & pleasant. Room was clean, with a mini-bar fridge we didn`t use, but was the only place all wk that had the offer of one. Some minor repairs could be done to door handle and some paint, but not an issue on a one night stop-over.I would use again.

Great value, but not for a picky travelers.. ”

It’s affordable and it’s cheap. It’s located in a lower-income neighborhood. It hosts younger and louder crowd, also it’s right by LAX airport, so you will hear each plane very good. Stuff was very polite and friendly. If you are on a budget, not that picky and judgmental- I’d say go for it, it’s a good value!

Really a flophouse. Witnessed three verbal altercations while waiting to check-in. Police were called on #3. Decided at that point to stay somewhere else, so never actually checked in. My recommendation? Avoid!

My stay at the Backpacker's Paradise.”

I get off of the freeway and find my way down Century Blvd. to the Agoda. The first thing that stood out in my mind was the surroundings of the great city of Inglewood. There are surely worse areas to build in, but this one was a close second place. LOLOLOL!!! I almost turned my car around and found somewhere else to stay for the four nights that I planned but something deep inside me said "You wanted an adventure...don't be scared now". I decided to try my luck and "rough it out" in the Backpackers place. Once I entered I was kind of surprised at how secure I felt and how great the customer service was. Not that it would have been an impossible feat to accomplish, but shocking none the less. Walking out with a smile and a sense of positive anticipation I was welcomed by a bamboo cabana bar with great music playing, a heated pool full of happy 'packers', and a slew of workers completing their tasks for the day. Room was two rooms, a lil outdated but worth it. GREAT PLACE!

The registration clerks show no concern for guest. The units are good and they are renovating rooms”

I did leave one room because of a roach only to see another one in next room. But as I said they are renovating so hopefully that will change. It would be a good place for the new stadium events to stay when the stadium is finished. But some of the guest appear to be drug dealers. There was an altercation that appeared to be gang members. My husband was approached and threatened by a young man that identified himself as a gang member. He did not appear to be a guest and the desk clerks did nothing or called anyone. This hotel needs better security immediately. The threat of harm will make me wonder about coming back

This place is so ghetto it's not even funny. Super run down, everything is so old and dilapidated and the overall space just reeks to the highest heavens. It's obviously very badly run, please take it off your offerings Agoda! Staff are surly and so unhappy to help, rooms dirty, linens dirty, entire property just smells of marijuana, and it's appalling such a space is still in business.

Convenience right near LAX with Pool”

Pool was great, location and shuttle to and from LAX made trip convenient, great value, food and stores nearby to accommodate all budgets, just loud music and lots of fun party-goers from the LA area too so it's not quite but offers too many benefits to pass up. They are super conscious of safety and security, so it's a win overall. If you want a more business focused hotel stay in a traditional setting, there are other options - but this is like an adult hostel close to LAX with perks on a budget.

                Nice for one night”

Cheap enough for one night. Lots of tourists were here. The pool looked nice but there were two babies in it and they can't control their bowels. Free breakfast muffin was great but I also had a full breakfast for about $10. It was very very good. For dinner I had grilled chicken sandwich it seemed greasy but the fries were good. I was worried about room security when I went out but nothing happened. Free shuttle to the airport was timely and had a good driver. I checked out at 8pm and had to pay a full might. Some places will charge half. Bath towels were small and not absorbent. Shampoo and soap in dispensers.

                Excellent”

started off great but when I had to book a 2nd room for family visiting. at first the room rate was like usual, but as soon as I went on to book the additional room the room rates more than doubled the normal rate and have not returned to earth from thier horribly high elevation. 2nd my reservation was not on the computer so I was forced to make an entirely new booking, this also increased the rates because I was now on the "Walk-in" rate. 3rd- after finally booking, re-booking, and checking in, I was given the room keys for the 2nd room. I unloaded the vehicle (which I couldn't find parking on the property for what-so-ever, and had to park on the street behind the property. where I had to move by 7am for street cleaning). after lugging all the luggage is stairs to the new room, we opened the door and it was in shambles. the room was under construction. so I went back to try again. got new keys and a new room and began moving to the opposite side of the property (again upstairs) to open the door and low-and-behold... A room that hasn't had turn down service since the Nixon Administration. so strike two! try again. at this point, needless to say, I'm a bit upset. so... a new room, new keys and a guarantee that the room is ready. Wow. it was. after this whole ordeal I requested to speak with a manager, to explain the fiasco as well as the frequency of my visits, requesting some sort of compensation for my... (let's call it) "Pain & Suffering" or just a Headache. this is when I decided to move my 2 rooms to another facility. the young black woman working the desk was beyond rude and disrespectful (same one that had the same attitude on a previous incident about the gate and unworking keys while blocking traffic, in my past review) she refused to call a manager or supervisor and said to just go back to my room and ask someone else that works there that isn't on her shift cause she's busy(with nobody else in the lobby or any phones ringing or anything of the sort). so r

They were doing construction to the point where the front desk heads wear masks of dust. Our Room was not what we requested the bed was broken the bathroom didn't latch your privacy on the 2nd Room claimed it was for fire hazard yet other Rudy still had the door there was wires going from one Room to the other not tacked down or safely secured we were given a Room right next to the back gate that opened and closed all times a night knowing that we had children under 2 there is no place for lunch there on like their website says the breakfast consists of muffins that are in edible and when we complained we were offered a second Room that was still not what we requested or reserve or we were told we can leave

WE have been here 8 nights since Christmas day to 2nd Jan . My wife has been ill with a really bad cold , no fault of resorts . The staff are super friendly and helpful , some of the advertised free stuff is no longer available and they need to update that . The on site restaurant staff are polite and helpful as everyone in the resort Nice and central and easy to get buses everywhere Michael and Panee

                Terrible Costumer Service”

I had a situation where the manager, instead of looking for solutions, behaved discourteous, rude and without any knowledge in costumer service satisfaction. I do not recommend this place by any means.

                Erm...”

Well i asked them to fix my tv as it didnt turn on.. fix the fridge which didnt work. I did have a do not disturb sign on the door so maybe thats why it never got fixed but wouldnt hurt for thek to let me know? Not crying for a refubd didnt really care.. photos show a bar which has actually been closed for years no atmosphere and full of crackheads. But hey it didnt cost much..maybe you get what you pay for??? Never write reviews but felt i have a civic duty in this case. P.s the staff were actually really nice

Basic board in a bargain basement neighbourhood”

Place feels like the land that time forgot. Very dated room with cockroaches in the bathroom hiding in the taps and behind the toilet paper roll. I have never stayed in such conditions before, but the bed was comfy and sheets clean. Other guests don’t give a f@@k about noise and if you’re a light sleeper you’ll wish you hadn’t stopped here. It’s cheap for a reason. Saying that I slept well and enjoyed a couple of cans of pop from the vending machines outside. I was never going to eat here or drink at the bar. I didn’t enjoy the smell of weed around the pool area, but others might. I won’t stay here again because It’s not really local to anywhere except airport and car rental places.

THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO DISCRIMINATE!!!”

On several occasions I was confronted by staff, management, and owner; relating issues concerning my dogs, your staff had all the documentation supporting my dogs were ESA animals. During my stay I maintained my room and cleaned behind my ESA, we did not present a problem, however staff, management, and owner; discussed my residency with other guest violating my rights to privacy, potentially threatening my safety. I was often CONFRONTED by location manager Sommer who would challenge me about LAWS citing the residency law is 28 days then she changed it to 21 days. I sent you an email with that law on Nov 6, 2016, and your staff began evicting me at 6 am citing plumbing issues. I lost wages for 3 days during the last break and I have lost 3 days since this latest eviction. I earn $150 per day! Then you offered me employment, which now makes this EMPLOYMENT DISCRIMINATION you offered me $20 per hour, any shift then began cursing at me, citing my room had a smell, and calling names.
