“Exceptional Staff!”
So far, I am very pleased with Hampton Inn and Suites of San Mateo, CA. Konstantin, one of the administrative staff members, has been exceptional to answer all my questions and even allow me to check out a few rooms regarding the noise level of the bathroom fan. My first night was in an accessible room (since none others were available), which was a very nice room, however the bathroom fan kept me up during the night (the bathroom fans cannot be turned off). So Konstantin was very understanding and I now am in a room on another floor in another location which is very quiet. The beds and pillows are very comfortable too! My only complaint is the shower water pressure is quite light. However, it is my understanding that this is the case in newer hotels. I believe it may have something to do with the idea that they think it will reduce water usage. Unfortunately, it really doesn't reduce water usage since it takes longer to be in the shower to rinse off the soap from the body and hair. Oh well, still an extremely nice hotel to stay in. I love how everything is new and materials used, such as large tile floor, a solid desk to work at, smooth bathroom countertops ETC are all of high quality and sturdy. Kudos once again to the staff, especially, Konstantin who has extremely accommodating and helpful!
