Great value for money!
We booked 2 rooms. It was a little bit disorganized as when we arrived, the rooms we booked seemed to have been double booked. We traveled as 2 couples. So my partner and I were "upgraded" to the beachfront room. My cousin and her partner did not want to stay in 2 different buildings so they were kind enough to upgrade them too. However those rooms were really really filthy and old. The design was nice, but the floor was oily and sandy, the furniture was old and withered already and the water slightly salty. The resort was also celebrating their 20th anniversary or something like that so it was very very loud. The view wasn't great either for an "upgraded" room. The next day we were housed back in our original "cheap" booking, but to our surprise, despite the 3 minute walk to the main building, it was so much newer, cleaner, spacious and comfortable then the main building! The bed was huge, king size and fluffly. Water was not salty anymore or less salty...it had a nice balcony and the building also has its own pool. If you walk street side, just a few meters you have another way to get to the beach walking through all the restaurants and food stalls. Overall a great place to stay and for the price? Really it's pretty much beach front Alona....what is even better is since it belongs to the main bldg that has a beach front, you can use all the facilites and have access to the beach from there.

Value for Money
We booked a family room at Lost Horizon Annex. The room was very spacious, beds are comfortable and large. Our bathroom has 2 sinks and has 3 additional fans aside from the airconditioning unit. The resort is basic but has everything you need. The location is close to the main street and near restaurants and eateries along the road. The beach is 5 mins walk via the Lost horizon main resort. Rates are very reasonable as compared to resorts nearby. We had a great stay at your resort.

Nice room
The hotel is not a beach front you need to walk 5-10mins to reach the beach. Food are not delicious only so so. The room that we stayed in look really nice great value for money.

Para repetir
A great quality/price hotel. 10 minutes walking to Alona Beach. Clean room and comfortable bed. The breakfast was ok! It has swimming pool and security. We recommend this one if you need something in a medium Range.

Surprisingly good place for a cheap price
The place is 400m away from the beachfront but it is no big deal as we have an access to the main Horizon gate going to the beach. The room is big and can fit 4 adults. The kids enjoyed the pool and the staff in the Horizon Annex is ok, however, the staff in the main Horizon where we took our breakfast is not. The service sucks, it took 40mins to serve the breakfast from 6:20am and our tour is supposes to start at 7am.. My mom even asked for an extra rice for the kids and water while i was away but to my surprise they were not served and i saw the face of the kids who wished to eat more.. i recommend staging in Horizon Annex but eat somewhere else.

To be improved
The first day we arrived we found out the felling light has dropped on one of our bed, housekeeping came to fix it but no apologies. General Electric power doesn't work very well, sometimes we have to try several times to have lights and air cons. One of the reception seem a bit off since we have to repeat several times about our breakfast for the next day, but still she didn't pass out the message to her colleague. The next day we got a very rude reply from the other colleague and she teased us in Tagalog. The night reception literally just sleep at night. Jacuzzi is not hot but clean enough. The room is quite big and fonctionnel for the price and it has a balcony. Wifi works fine. Hope the hotel can improve the housekeeping and reception service !

The front desk needs to be trained and should welc
And upon checking out front desk should say Thank you and come again.. but didn't say anything a word. That's rude and disrespectful.. not a good staff .. they should be professional at their work.

Clean room with CR in strategic location
The rooms are clean, facilities are great, and staff are very accomodating. The CR is right after the entrance of the room and guests who come in after swimming didn't have to go across the room to wash up therefore avoiding the entire room from getting wet. The water from shower and faucet, though, are slightly salty and therefore does not really give you the refreshing after-shower feel.
