Lota Fuxing A

I paid for this place but not even stayed one night! I made an emergency booking to another hotel even it was late in the night. The walls are moldy, the bath room is moldy, the bed covers are moldy too. It is in a very old residential building which was very hard to find. The staff are not helpful at all when I called them if there was a cleaner room! BTW, you don't see or speak to someone face to face as has no reception. Only through WeChat or calls. They said that for the "economy" price I paid, it was already better than the room next door which was way worst!!! When I came out from the lift, I was welcomed by dirty water dripping from the ceiling. This was also evident in room bathroom! Maybe there are better rooms but getting rooms at this place is playing Russian roulette with 5 bullets in the barrel. Sharing a dorm with complete strangers would be a better option to this if you are on a budget. They don't deserve one star even but I need to give one to submit this review

Value for money, room was spacious, comes with washing machine, host was helpful. Take a little time to find the location as there is no sign board around the entrance of building indicating the building.

this is not actually a hotel , , ,no lobby , no receptions , , , its a small unit / a room that has a queen size bed and tv , wifi ,table , hot and cold showers , , the unit its a hard to locate , , so better save the cell phone number of ezbookers, over all stay was great , ,room is clean . .

Great little apartment in the heart of town. Good value compared to hotel but for longer stays , lower rates are available in the local apartment market. Internet worked great. Convenient to just about everywhere in Taipei.

this is not a hotel, it is a studio type room, but it is fine with basic facilities + washing machine, great location, very neat to mrt station. cheap price compare to any same location hotel in taipei.

it is a very awesome room located right smack in a very accessible vicinity to the city. rooms are awesome and landlady is super friendly. mrt is just 5 mins away from the city. highly recommended. 5 stars!!

We had a hard time looking for the building and "our room". People/staff are not English speaking, we were able to communicate with basic sign language.

No reception,no staff, no facilities how to rate a star ? Is suppose to be zero star. Difficult to find the place. Is inside a damn old building. Everything communicate through email including check out.

Very convenient location, rooms for four are huge. I was with four seniors so I booked 2 rooms which I requested for rooms close to each other. I was given a very small double room on our first day, very disappointed, but it was changed on the second day after I complained. Towels are not changed and nobody cleaned the room in our three nights stayed here. Staff can be reached only thru phone. No lobby.

This place is nearly impossible to find with the information given by Agoda. This is not really a hotel, it's one of a few rooms in a huge commercial/residential building. Even the doorman at the entrance of the building didn't know where it was. If go to the address in Agoda and telephone the owner of the room she will tell you how to get to the room. She speaks excellent English. The room was small, and clean. The price is really good for Taipei.

We have requested to have a copy of map one week before our departure, however, the person-in-charge replied will only able to send in the next day. After this, we then have contacted person-in-charge on the day of check in, no replies again, and there was a reminder file that we received from Agoda's email (given by host) saying that check in period is from 3-9pm. Upon arriving the first location, Fuxing B (if not mistaken) at 8pm, we were then informed to move to another place, which is even further than MRT station exit 1. The customer service has to be strengthened. The greatest part is the room is pretty spacious, clean, and tidy.

Great central location, close to ZhongXiao Fuxing MRT, spacious, washing machine, private apartment, excellent value. 24HR on site concierge. AirBNB style rental. Make sure to read confirmation attachments to learn how to check in.

Pros: Great location. Great craft beer bar and restaurants in close proximity. The place is located in a residential building so you do feel like a local staying there. The lady who led me in was helpful but spoke no English at all. Cons: The entrance can be tricky to find, especially when you go after office hours. Took us a while to find it. Killed 8 mosquitoes coz the mosquito net had holes. I had to crank down the AC to fridge temp and hide under the duvet to sleep. I did call Agoda to complain about the mosquito situation but the host told them that I should have raised that before leaving (which I did to the lady) and refused me a refund. Honestly if it wasnt for this, the place would have been really great.

Pros: - Well located in the city heart center - Close to MRT - Cheap price - good and polite staff Cons: - My room is not as same as the pics which shown on the web. Washroom is located in the middle of the room. So weird. - poor water pressure - no window grilles at all and the lock is so loose that can be opened easily. Not recommended for family traveling with little children. - unstable wifi network - furniture looks old and dirty

The air conditioner in the room was not working. They refused to offer us another one nor to refund. The housekeeper told us to that she would find someone to fix it. Later, a man helped us move to another room. However, the room was not clean. I can say the man was sincere and nice, yet, the quality of the room was not good.

This place is more an appartment. The house seemded not so inviting at first sight but the appartment was great. There was a big window with an excellent view over the city. Nice big bed with a little bedsidetable on each side. Spaceious bathroom. The appartment had a fridge so we could prepare breakfast ourself. It is centrally located with easy MRT, subway access and nearby shopping possibilities. The place has no reception so you cannot store luggage during the day of departure but the owner was helpful.

The Fuxing A can be found with the Google maps, there are two doors on the side of the building萬豪大厦 Pros: Great location that various kinds of tasty food and drinks around, also with the convenience store Hillife Accessible by foot to MRT, SOGO and famous shops in Easten district within 10 minutes Near to a bus stop which connects to many places directly e.g Jiufen, Taoyuen Airport and other places, so that an alternative is provided and money is saved Have own bathroom and big window, also with sofa Cons: The building is old. No reception and services like the hotels, but there are security guards The toilet is not well ventilated if the door is closed, and in my room 9E there's a gap that outside may look through into TV programmes keep repeating

the place is pretty close to subway station and popular shopping area but not easy to find the place and you never think there is a hotel look like. however, inside of room is pretty clean and comfortable to stay. id like to be here again if i visit taiwan next time

The hotel at first wasn't easy to find but I was met by a friendly young man who helped us to our room which was clean, comfy and included a washing machine. The room was quiet all night which was great given its location in a busy part of the city. The building itself is used for various other businesses and who knows what else so I was put off at first. All said and done, for the price it was a decent stay.

The location is great with shopping malls and resturants nearby. Just 1 thing that I misunderstood sb will come to clean my room every 3 days, actually they only clean the garbage bin.It‘s okay for me to clean my room though.
