The hotel's location is very good, about a 3-minute walk from Exit 1 of Euljiro 3-ga Station on the subway. This station has two lines, so you don't need to transfer to go to Hongdae, Seongsu, Sinchon, and Gyeongbokgung. If you want to go to Dongdaemun and Myeongdong, you only need to transfer once. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to Myeongdong from the hotel. There is also an airport bus 6015 nearby, which is about a 3-minute walk away. The advantage of taking the airport bus is that it goes directly to the airport comfortably. Although the fare is slightly more expensive than the subway, I still think it's worth it. The hotel has a gym, and there is also a scale in the lobby on the second floor (very accurate). After checking out, you can also store your luggage. There is a very large room available. The hotel staff are very polite, from check-in to check-out, everyone I encountered was polite, without exception! The room also comes with body lotion and conditioner, which is really important in dry Korea! However, there is no toothbrush and toothpaste in the amenities, but we brought our own, so it's okay. The only minor drawback is that the hairdryer is not powerful enough for long-haired girls, it takes a long time to dry. And sometimes the housekeeping staff don't take away the used towels and bath towels, which I don't quite understand, but they will provide new ones, so there will be many towels and bath towels in the room. The pillows are a bit too soft, but we found two more pillows on top of the wardrobe, so we each slept with two pillows, and it was still very comfortable. The sockets in the room are universal sockets, so you don't need an adapter, as long as the appliances have automatic voltage conversion function, you can plug them in directly. There are two convenience stores, 7-11 and GS25, downstairs from the hotel, and Olive Young is about a 10-minute walk away. Overall, highly recommended! Will definitely stay again if given the chance~ ☺️

The location was excellent, being close to both Myeong-dong and Insa-dong, and just a short walk from the airport limousine bus stop. The hotel was very clean and the staff were all kind. There was also a machine for exchanging and charging money with the WOW card, which was very convenient. The café on the first floor was also handy. The view from the room was good, and the room itself was spacious and easy to use, with a large bathtub. It was truly the best room! As expected from the Lotte group. I think I will stay at this hotel again next time!

The hotel is on the outskirts of Myeongdong so it’s pretty perfect because we found it a quiet place to rest, but literally within a 10 minute walk you’re in the heart of the super busy shopping streets of Myeongdong. The Eulji-ro 3 ga subway station is a super short walk and it’s on line 2 and 3, convenient for not needing to make transfers for popular places. It’s easy to take an airport bus from Incheon to the hotel and get off about a minute or two walk from the bus stop. The hotel staff was great, specifically the cleaning staff. We didn’t have our room cleaned everyday, but whenever she saw us she gave us fresh towels and bottled waters and checked on our needs. She went above and beyond and was very friendly and sweet. When we checked out the staff was more than happy to store our luggage so we could enjoy the rest of our day prior to departing Korea. The breakfast at the cafe on the top floor is a buffet and we enjoyed our breakfast there one morning. The view of the Seoul skyline alone is worth it. The windows are huge. We also did our own laundry while here which was convenient (they have coin laundry machines), but it was pricey. Cost was 10,000 won to wash and dry. Another benefit is that some local places (restaurants and cafes) offered special discounts to hotel guests. My complaints about the hotel is that the rooms are pretty tiny (but a good number of hotels do have small rooms in Seoul), but the bathrooms are very roomy. Another complaint is that the elevators are SO SLOW. You wait forever, particularly at busy times like the morning for checkout. Another slightly inconvenient thing is that the lobby is technically on the second floor. Lastly one nice benefit is that the lobby has a wow pass kiosk, so if you get a wow card you can easily withdraw money there.

Located within city center, so everything is generally a 10-20minute walk (MyeongDong, City Hall, GwangHwamun, GyeongBukGung). Other attractions a few minutes away by bus (DongDaeMun, HongDae) Lots of nearby bus station and train station is just outside of hotel. There is a 7/11 at the ground floor and a GS22 across the back entrance of the hotel. Hotel has water dispensers to refill your water bottles, which also dispenses ice (which is good when you travel during warm season) Room & Hotel is clean, staff are friendly and accommodating. You can leave your luggage before check in and after check out. Everything as expected of a 4-star hotel. Though there an other more value for money options in the area, but maybe because of its “Lotte” brand name which makes it a bit more expensive than others. Other than the slightly less value for money, it’s a decent hotel to stay within the city center. I would not regret booking again in this hotel, but may lean towards other 4-star hotels in the same area, at a much better price point.

This is my second time staying at Lotte City Myeondong. Hotel is always clean and distance to Myeondong shopping area is a 5 minute walk. Subway is also very close by the hotel. We have been to Seoul many times and have always enjoyed staying at the Lotte hotels. This time we had a number of luggages and paper bags with us and spent one night in the hotel before moving to an apartment as we were planning on a longer stay in Seoul. Unfortunately we left one of our paper bags somewhere in the hotel. We only realised when we arrived at our apartment. From the moment we called the hotel to the time the bag was delivered by one of the staff (not even a delivery service) the service of the hotel was impeccable! The front desk and housekeeping service did their very best to retrieve our bag and went so far as to check in regularly with us to update us on their search! We have travelled all over the world and stayed in many beautiful hotels. But I have never encountered such care and attention to detail! In the end, whether a hotel is a 4-star or 5-star doesn’t really matter. How they help their guests in need, even after they have checked out of the hotel, says a lot about the staff of the hotel. To me, their professionalism and excellent service makes it a 5-star hotel!
