Exceptional”
The hotel is strategically located in the middle of Taiping town. It is very convenient to walk to many of the local favorite eateries. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is big and spacious. It is clean and comfortable. Water pressure at the bathroom is big enough to have a great shower. The air con worked well. Had a really pleasant stay at the hotel. Will definitely go back to stay again when visiting Taiping in the future.

Suitable for short stay ”
Booked a deluxe room for 2 persons and it’s just nice for short stay. We got no issue to check in midnight as there is 24 hour’s reception. A call was made to us to check if we require room cleaning and offer to provide us the extra mineral. Excellent service!

Value for money”
All facilities were upgraded. Superb!. The room is cosy, comfort, even the bed and pillow is good. The shower and bathroom also in the awesome condition in line with the hotel star. Only that, for family suite may be, in room fridge can be equipped is better. As for iron, sharing as current is okay.

High Class Budget Hotel”
It may look like a budget hotel but the interiors looks and feel luxurious. many reviewed about the wet market in front of hotel, but it seems the market is undergoing renovation and has been relocated to another place. so no need to worry about crowd or smell. Beds are super comfy. AC works fine. Heater and water pressure was excellent. Although the room is small, but it was comfortable. Located mid of town. Overall, I will definitely choose this hotel again in the future.

Nice stay in Taiping”
We stayed for the first time in Louis Hotel in Taiping. When we arrived, we saw a rather old building from the outside. But we were pleasantly surprised when got inside the lobby & very happy indeed when we got into our room. Really nice actually…spacious, clean & well designed 👍🏻Well done. Will come again😍

Awesome Budget Hotel”
The location is quite strategic, near shops and almost everything, just within walking distance. Modern decorations. The room, even small but, looks spacious and has 11 (eleven) 3-pins sockets for your phone charging, laptops, etc. It's really very convenient. This is my 1st time staying in a hotel that has so many sockets. :) The room is so clean, the shower, the toilet is easy to use. I definitely will come again to this hotel. Awesome!!!

Really nice hotel”
The hotel is equipped with all the necessities we needed: working hot water, clean, spacious and comfortable room, located in the town near fast food, mini market, and mall (in walking distance). The downsides are just the hotel is located right next to the wet market so it gets a bit smelly and also the noise from the market was a bit loud at night. If you don't mind about all these, this hotel is for you! :)

Great hotel!”
Found out during check in that they had upgraded my room that I booked for 4 nights. Really appreciated that. The room was clean and well lit. Ample plug points. Wifi working well. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The water heater and water pressure was superb. Parking will be subsidised for two hours everyday because it’s a roadside parking. All in all, it’s a great place to stay.

Overall so good for family with low budget but so many mosquitoes and the room is not sound proof, will hear loud of the pressure water from other room and wake up the kids but its ok since its the budget hotel

Lots of parking but need to get your own coupon. Would recommend downloading the app to pay for council parking. the rooms were clean and comfortable. Room included kettle and basic toiletries. Great service too!

I stayed one night during the CNY week, which was more expensive than usual times but still reasonable (RM124 for a queen room). The hotel was clean and well maintained, with a small but modern lift, a comfortable bed, and an excellent hot shower with great pressure. Directly outside the hotel was the morning market which, as described by other reviewers, smelled strongly of fish (though it wasn't noticeable inside). All the popular sights of Taiping are within reasonable distance: food courts, the lake garden, the Perak Museum, the train station, etc. My one and only complaint would be the lack of soundproofing. My room was right next to the lift and I was able to hear the noise of everyone around that area as well as the room above me, so I would strongly recommend bringing earplugs. Overall, a good stay and I would recommend it to someone who wants a step above the cheapest hotels while not having the budget for Novotel.
