Where to stay in Lower East Side
Lower East Side hotels & accommodations

This puts you in the middle of the action on Manhattan’s Lower East Side where the night life is varied and exciting and the day-to-day life is ever-changing. The staff are helpful and pleasant, the beds are unbelievably comfortable and the restaurant on the street level, le Medi, is excellent for dinner and breakfast.

1 block from subway. Eclectic neighborhood. Great little restaurants and stores everywhere. I felt very safe, and I did a lot of walking around at night. Appliances in kitchen worked fine. Had to provide my own coffee. There was construction in front of the hotel which woke me up several times throughout the night and early morning. I will definitely book again n...

I booked this with trepidation due to some bad reviews. Location is absolutely perfect - in Lower East Side, opposite the Tenement Museum, and walkable to all of Downtown. The dorm has a slightly weird set up - a huge room, with 4 bunks and then 2 single beds in an adjoining room., all sharing a nice bathroom that was kept spotlessly clean. Towels replaced every day an...

Very nicely located. Nice modern rooms. Cosy restaurant with professional staff. Only bemol: the bar is way too noisy (explained in part I must admit by the presence of a large table of about 20 very lousy guests). Efficiency of bar staff can be improved.

It was fantastic, couldn't recommend Sixty LES more. My girlfriend and I wanted a hotel in the area to celebrate an anniversary/birthday and our decision was perfect. We were in a King Suite, with a corner balcony. The view was spectacular. I have lived in New York for about 3 years, and that has got to be one of the nicest views from the southern end of Manhattan tha...

Small but comfortable, clean and modern rooms. No fridge in our room which was restrictive and could sometimes hear noise from people in corridors outside our room. Across the road from an F line subway station and 10mins to Times Square. Wholefoods Market across the road with loads of ready-to-eat options plus lots of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. The neighborho...

Great hotel in an amazing part of New York. We paid for a Deluxe Room and had incredible views in a corner room on floor 20. On a second visit a week later, we paid for a (lower-grade) King Room and were on the same floor but not in a corner suite. We loved wandering the diverse, narrow streets of the Lower East Side and then ascending into our bright room overlooking ...

We enjoyed this hotel because of its location, the windows made the room seem bright and cheerful (although made it hard to sleep in), and it had facilities such as a mini fridge, a kitchen sink and microwave. The room was small (this is new york!) but was comfortable enough for two people and was a good location with a convenient coffee shop located directly underneat...

Not a traditional hotel with a 24hr manned Reception Desk. Large studio with a full kitchen in a great neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, bodegas, bars and laundromats in the area. 7mins walk to Delancey-Essex Station and to Katz Deli. Please note that they do limited housekeeping but you can request for new towels. Would definitely stay here again.
