Excellent in all ways but one”
The hotel has set the television to come on when you insert the room card into the power slot. On the last night, general power went out about 4 am, and when it resumed, the TV came on and woke us out of a deep sleep. It ruined the rest of the night, especially wondering if it would happen again. No way to unplug the TV either.

Great location. Its connected to the mall. Staff are very nice. The food we ordered were delicious. However, we noticed that the accent pillows were really dirty and they didnt also change our towels.

Central location directly on to Jl Malioboro. Easy to arrange transport to Prawirotawan area 17.000rp in Go Taxi to some of the best restaurants in Jogya. Staff very helpful and friendly and the hotel is currently being refurbished to a higher standard. Excellent value.

Excellent Location! Clean room with good amenities and city views. Free WiFi. Very good breakfast buffet. Novi the manager, was very welcoming and looked after us well, and we appreciated his sightseeing advice. Friendly & helpful reception staff Refundable Deposit upon check-in seemed unusual, but as it turned out, other hotels in Java requested the same. Would definitely stay here again.

The old has turned to young again with recent renovation”
The rooms has became fresh again by the recent renovation. It is not a good place to lay back at the hotel now, since the renovation is still undergoing; but once it's completed, I'm sure it will return to become the best most strategic located hotel in Jogja.

A good place in Jogja”
Location wise, this is perfect place to stay for travelers who intend to explore Jogja. Situated at the tourist center at Malioboro street, basically one can have everything that Jogja has to offer. During my stay, the only problem that I faced was the faulty shower drainage. Even after maintenance attended to it, it is still faulty.

It's a so so hotel”
I went there with my parents and aunt and uncle. The location is good, right at the heart of Jogja. You can walk around malioboro to shop and find foods. There is also a malioboro mall if you want some fast food. The hotel is clean. The staff are nice. But it's weird that i had to put some of insurances money when i checked in. Never happened in any other hotel before. Made me feel like I'm a thief who will try to run away. They said the insurance money is for the payment if i and my family take the beverages in the room. And what more funny are there were no any beverages inside the room. And the food is so so. Nothing delicious. Th pool is so dirty. I'm so dissapointed.

Great location.. ”
Ibis Hotel is located right in Malioboro area.. It makes our stay in Yogyakarta very convenience for walking around the surroundings, finding different types of foods, local souvenirs/ handycrafts, etc.. Great environment!

Have stayed here many times...Hotel was becoming old and good that renovations have started on 4th floor..great improvement. Good price and still the best location in Jogya...connected to Malioboro Mall

The hotel in a very good location. central Malioboro. The room we got is newly renovated room so everything looks modern and nice..will come back again next time

Extremely good location and very friendly service”
The hotel is directly connected to a mall with a supermarket and several food options. Always some metered taxis right in front of the hotel. Behind the mall is the famous Malioboro street. Room was dated, but clean. Staff was very friendly and spoke good English. Renovation work started very early at 7 a.m.

Great for shopping location”
Booked 2 room with connecting door, it's nice to hang out with family. Clean and roomy. The only thing downside is AC not cold, called room service to fix it. But still not much different. The game room closed too early. Also kinda a bit pricey to play pool.

It's Super Location”
stay a night here after Manohara hotel. location is right in Malioboro shopping street. hotel is connected to a shopping mall divided by a glass door which open from 10am to 10.30pm. Room is simple but cozy, pillow is fluffy flat again but with 2 mini bolster. I still have a bad night sleep. Room key only gave 1 but luckily air con is cooling without doubt in this hot weather n water pressure is great for shower. 2 bottles mineral water provided. a lot of international channels. toiletries are provided. when enter into hotel lobby, it was so grand n nice, feeling is great. breakfast is simple and eggs need to be ordered. Was told when check-in or when at breakfast. I overheard from other table instead. more choices for breakfast n salad are keep in the mini fridge to keep fresh. connecting mall at basement have a supermarket that sells alcohol Singer Beer, I believed this is the only place in town sells, and many kinds of items that you are surprise to see them here. worth to make a visit. foodcourt at TOP level not worth visiting. for the amount you paid, portion are so little yet expensive. no wonder no crowd. you need to order your food first then a order chit was given, paid money at cashier and go back to your stall to have your food to be cooked. No pre-payment, no cooking. Pizza Hut is great and worth paying for but the Neighbour shop rock music is disturbing. enjoy my stay here and worth the money paid for.
