Air-conditioning 5 star rated. Great temperature for hyperactive young children. We switch off the aircond at around midnight, and it cools until sunrise. Walking distance like 2mins to Aquaria KLCC, connected bridge to Pavillion, Bukit Bintang.

While I was requesting a change of room for the second time due to a fault with the aircon and shower water pressure, one of your female FO staff (didn't catch her name) had a very displeased facial expression as I told her the problems. Only one of your staff, Dominic if I recall correctly, was very tactful and helpful.

Very run down”
Location was pretty good. Furniture and hotel furnishings are very old and run down. Bed is not comfortable; room kettle is so old and dirty that we didn’t dare to touch it. Breakfast was very sad. I expected better standards from a hotel that is part of the Accor Hotel group.

Feels like it needs a renovation done”
Carpet in the room looks and feels as old as they are in the legal age to get a car license on their own, the sheets look like they have span through years of unsupervised washing with the stubborn dark spots here and there that looks like mold stains. The house keeping staff was very friendly but this does not mean he is good at his job ( my toothpaste stain and dental floss left in the washroom stays put where I left them the entire 4 nights of my stay). I stayed in level 5 and I can hear water flushing through the water pipes every moment I walked from the lift towards my room and vice versa ( the pipes are built behind cheap wooden cabinets along the walkway near to the rooms). The lamps in the room isn't enough so it's dark most of the time. Pool looks old. Only good thing is it's brief walk to the connecting overhead bridge to Pavilion and Lot 10.

There were a couple of times where I left my room early around 8am but my room still wasn't made up until evening when I returned. They were probably busy but hope that the hotel takes note of this. However, I found this matter a little overboard. Previously, it was complimentary as a hotel guest to park my car with unlimited entries for a day. NOW, they would charge me RM5 each time I exit. This is absurd. Upon entry this time, instead of asking whether I was a hotel guest or not (because to my understanding, the guard would pass hotel guest's a paper with the vehicle registration number written on it to pay at the reception) the guard requested me to pay RM3 (entry after 5pm). Regardless, I find it disappointing to know that I have to pay each time I use the car park in a single given day as a hotel guest.

We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. We've relayed your comments regarding slow service to the Housekeeping Department. Clearly this had been a very poor attempt at customer care that could have easily been avoided had it been handled carefully. This hotel has a great location right in the heart of KLCC but the rooms are in serious need of a facelift. I found, if you was in your room when housekeeping came, then they would not bother to come back again later, even after calling them to say I was going out and my room could be cleaned. In fact the young guy who cleans the rooms, was only 2 doors away from my room when I was going out, so he was informed also. The elevators are not good enough for the size of the hotel, neither is the reception. Cant complain about the food although I did have a wrong order sent to my room one evening. After a long day traveling, arriving at the hotel at 11 pm for my 3 night stay, my room was not ready, so all in all it was quite disappointing. Much better accommodationcan be found in the city for the same price or less. Im a regular business traveler to KL but I would not stay there again.

Car Park ”
At first though the car park is complimentary, because i very particular in the parking issue, the staff told me there will be sufficient parking and did not notice me there a charging carpark. when arrive there, they say the car park been start charging, i dont mind been charging but at least indicate proper say your carpark is chargeable. Feeling like been cheating. Even i book in this agoda, it also dint indicate it charging (charging carpark normally agoda will indicate). Hope it will not misleading other time.

Good location for shopping and going around Kuala Lumpur.”
Hotel has a good location in that is close to shopping malls and a good selection of dining areas. The light rail is an easy walk. The facilities are just about right for the hotel class and staff are courteous and easy to talk to.

Location wise near to Pavillion to shop and near to many nightlife areas.. Hotel has a weird smell, suspect from the carpets. Aircon does not function well despite telling the staff about it. So we had a portable fan to keep us cool. Difficult to sleep at night as u can hear everything thats happening outside ur door. Breakfast spread was okay.

Clean Rooms but barely functioning aircon”
Was told they were fully booked last night and could only check in at 1pm. Once I got my room the air con was not cold at all. Informed reception about it and was told to wait in room for technician. Waited for an hour but nobody came. Gave up and barely slept that night due to the heat. other minus points includes not adjustable minibar temperature which was not cold enough. Hot water has no pressure sometimes. The room also did not look like those in the photos. My 'Executive King' room did not have that bathroom window shown in the photo.

Rooms not cleaned up from morning till after 6pm...towels continuously not provided...usual taxi.mafia on front only waiting for rich Arab tourists going for shopping your..internet connection bad and frequently disconnected or due to server setting not able to connect to common email servers..in short: no go for a business traveller

We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. We're truly sorry to read that your stay had not been up to your expectations, please allow us to express our sincerest apologies. We've relayed your comments regarding slow service to the Housekeeping Department, clearly this had been a very poor attempt at customer care that could have easily been avoided had it been handled carefully. As for the taxi, we've informed and discussed with the taxi provider regarding your comment and the hotel management team will be more aware of it. When I read through the reviews, I noticed a lot of complaints about poor air con. In my recent stay (1-3 Dec 2017), their air con has been fixed. Very cold instead. Thumbs up for Novotel. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. I was being careless and burned myself with hot steam from the electric kettle in my room. I seek help from the counter staff and the staff helped me very quickly. I sincerely thank him from the bottom of my heart (unfortunately, I forgot to ask for his name).

Great hotel and fantastic staff”
I had to change rooms on the last night of my stay as someone had occupied the room above mine who was permitted to smoke. The stream of fumes began to fill my room. Thankfully, the hoyel offered to chnge my room for me. The overall experience was great. I will give it a 7/10. What needs improving is the machines in the fitness centre. The swimming pool is a bit tool small. It's a non-essential so that's a minor remark.

Check in Good -keys don't work i info front from a phone nearby but they did not send some one with new keys I need go down -wifi 80% of my stay did not work in room -after 1rst day no more towels in room they took but did not replace need call and ask for at 8pm -tissue box was never filled with any tissue always empty -they had a both tap but there wasn't any closer to cover the drain.. So I used a plastic bag to get my relaxing bath.. -room odor bad -2nd night 2am no more AC very hot -bathroom not clean -never had Lunch or Dinner but Breakfast ok I was happy to booked my other 2 days in other hotel. And it turned out to be total to my sudisfaction.. My first and last stay in a Novhotel maybe if a low budget hotel ok but.. For this price... No way
