Relaxing, friendly, attentive and helpful staff, ”
The Luang Prabang Paradise Resort was a great value for our family with two children age 9-13 years old. The staff are very friendly, helpful and competent. The swimming pool is well maintained and sufficient for play, exercise, and relaxation. Conveniently located near the airport and only a five minute tuk-tuk ride to the center of town. Adventure companies (we used Green Discovery) picked us up at our hotel for our days of trekking, kayaking, and elephant riding. We look forward to our next stay at the Luang Prabang Paradise Resort!

Thanks you Paradise Resort~”
Located next to the Namkhan River in Luang Prabang, the hotel is beautiful, clean, quiet, friendly and well-trained. Sitting in the room's veranda overlooking the Namkan River early in the morning is very relaxing. The breakfast and room Wi-Fi, the pick-up and drop-off in the city and the airport were good, and when I left the hotel, the deportation of the staff was so good that I would like to see the hotel again next time. We would like to thank our staff for their kindness, and we recommend the Paradise Hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay Luang Prabang Paradise Resort. On arrival was greeted with a warm smile,a nice fruit juice and staff that could speak reasonable English.Whilst the resort was about 10 minutes from the old district if hire a bike you can get there alot quicker over bike bridge. The pool and surrounding gardens are well maintained, the villa units are kept in good condition. The highlight of my stay was no doubt the staff, beautiful smiles and extremely helpful when needing advice.

lovely hotel and service with a smile ”
One of the best small hotels we have stayed at We had a chalet looking over the river ...wonderful and waking up in the morning lovely misty atmosphere from the river The room could be seen as on the small side but lovely balcony compensated and we spent a lot of time on this with chairs or cushions both provided The pool was a plus not many hotels in luang prabang have one and we spent most afternoons in the pool good size and clean The room were very clean and the only drawback was lack of wardrobe but he had a rails provided which we found okay The distance from town we knew about and the 4 shuttles a day were available and helped us get organised You could walk took about 20mins The dining room was okay with good breakfasts and convenient for other meals if needed

Perfect environment for a relaxing stay”
Very much enjoyed my 3 day stay at the Paradise Resort. Perfect for those who prefer not to stay amidst the touristy areas in 'downtown' Luang Prabang. Surrounding hills and the Khan River are beautiful and peaceful. Rooms though small are nice and clean. Staff and management very friendly and effective. I would consider visiting again.

Wonderful resort with great staff”
Although resort is slightly distant from centre of Luang Prabang, it is definitely like being in paradise. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, and the setting is beautiful. One slight problem is the timing of the hotel shuttle, as it only goes 4 times a day at rather odd times (not everyone wants to go to town at 8am,and last shuttle back is 8.15pm) However it is possible to walk (about half an hour), so not a major nuisance.

Drop all holiday plans! Come here!!”
What a fabulous place, not in Luang Prabang town but a bike ride away (the resort has free bikes) or Tuk tuk (30,000 Kip = 3 Euros = $5) back after a free shuttle van ride into the historic town in the morning. This place is a gem, a family atmosphere with small bungalows, our family bungalow was amazing. Kids loved the pool, the restaurant was there mainly for breakfast but ok for other meals if needed. Perfect for a family prepared to get out and do a few things and this is what LP is all about. Staff are lovely to boot, thanks Lua and Noi and family and keep up the good work!

Beautiful gardens, large family villa, nice & quiet”
Check-in was fast and efficient, the room was ready shortly after checking-in. We were immediately impressed by the large villa, with it's beautiful windows and traditional Luang Prabang style appearance. Inside there are two bedrooms, one has a double bed while the other has twin beds. Both rooms come with wardrobes and mosquito nets. Unfortunately, the sewage system does not handle toilet paper well so we had to ask a staff member to unclog the toilet, which was handled quickly and efficiently and did not recur. The sofa in the living room was nice and large, while the TV offered a large variety of international, Thai and Lao channels. Internet access was a bit slow at first, but in general worked fine for our purposes. Mosquitoes were a bit of a problem in the area being close to sources of water and our visit being during the rainy season, but fortunately a "tennis racquet" mosquito eliminator and the nets provided in the rooms ensured they didn't become a major nuisance. Breakfast was OK but there weren't a great variety of choices, only fruit, corn flakes with milk (no yogurt), tea/coffee, eggs, salad and some kind of potato cake. Staff were very friendly and attentive though. The pool was nice and relaxing though unfortunately the weather wasn't great during our stay; only on our day of departure did the rain finally hold off, allowing for a swim after breakfast.

It's a real paradise! ”
my husband and i stayed at this paradise in dec 2011 for 3 nights. located on a small street off from the main road from the airport, it is like a real paradise outside the city center of luang prabang. all rooms are bungalow style, simple yet very beautifully decorated. when we visited, it was unusually chilly, so we didn't have a chance to use the swimming pool but it looked pretty nice. the premise is full of trees and plants; the place is very relaxing. all the staff was very friendly and helpful as well. guests have breakfast at the semi-outdoor restaurant by the swimming pool. breakfast doesn't have much variety: lao breakfast (noodle); continental (fruits, baguette, coffee/tea); or american (continental + egg). very plain options. for this level of hotel, they should really improve on breakfast menu. it may not be the best choice in terms of location although it is only 15 minute walk (using the bamboo bridge which is a short cut) or kip tuk-tuk ride. the location did not bother us very much; we also rented bicycles and went to explore this side of the city. it is only 10-15 minute bicycle ride to the weaving village. all in all, we were very very happy with our stay! can't wait to go back again!

Idyllic hotel with excellent staff and standards”
My booking was made at the last minute and although it's a 20 minute walk to town ( 5 mins on a hotel cycle)the hotel is an excellent option for this stay (2 weeks)and unusual in Luang Prabang for it's excellent swimming pool. Staff are welcoming, helpful and attentive, rooms are well designed, furnished and maintained with a small but pleasant verhanda for relaxing. There is also a shuttle service for those who don't wish to walk and excursions can be arranged. Highly recommended!

Relaxing hotel with nice poolarea”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Paradise Resort. Very friendly staff and family feeling. Great to relax by the pool in nice surroundings. A bit far from Luang Prabang "city", we walked one time but as the evenings were dark we had to take tuktuk every time. The hotel has bikes that is free to borrow.

Lovely pool which is rare in Luang Prabanag”
don't let your first trip put you off. it seems like a long ride out to the paradise resort but that's because of the bridges the taxi needs to take. you can use the hotels cycles to get into town in less than 10 minutes by taking the foot bridge. the chalets were comfortable and the hotel's free wifi was a bonus. i enjoyed several meals at the restaurant although luang prabang has just a diverse choice of restaurants that it's hard to stick to one. the breakfasts were good with warm local baguettes. if you want to party late in the downtown bars, this is probably not the place for you. however if you enjoy a swim after a day of sightseeing - it's perfect.

Impeccable service and quiet location”
A lovely resort made up of neat villas in pretty gardens. Our room was very large, with a similarly generous bathroom, featuring a deep tub that kept our 4 year old as happy as the swimming pool did! Fitted and furnished in wood with a huge four poster, soft white bedlinen and all necessary mod cons (kettle, fridge, TV, safe). Staff were charming, friendly and very helpful. We borrowed bikes for the 10 minute ride into Luang Prabang, or took the hotel's free shuttle, which runs back and forth four times daily. Fresh fruit and salads, eggs cooked to order and delicious bread on the breakfast buffet. Very highly recommended.

A relaxing and comfortable stay”
There was a mistake on the dates of original booking, which was amended immediately, but the staff at the resort had not received any inforation on the original booking, so for the first two days we were in a family suite. The staff were very apologetic and did everything they could to make us comfortable. The breakfast was adequate but not great, and restaurant meals were not up to the standard of outside restaurants. Shuttle service into the main area of Luang Prabang ran 3 times a day, but for little money you could get transport independedntly. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and I would stay there again.

Incredible stay in an even more incredible city!”
The hotel is in a quite part of town away from the heart of Luang Prabang. The convenient and free shuttle into town 6 times a day means you can easily access anything you want in the city and the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The pool is such a welcomed treat!

A delightful small resort hotel.”
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful resort hotel which was tucked away outside the main town. The rooms and pool were delightful. The hotel had bikes which made it very accessible to the lovely town, an easy (about) 3km away. We cycled in every day to enjoy the sites of Luang. Prabang. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast good.
