We booked a room for 11 days, and because of this the management treated us very well. They upgraded to a terrace room with an amazing view. The amenities in the room were top notch, breakfast was delicious with a lot of choices, and the pool and poolside service were great. The 4 stars for faculties was given because the fitness room is barely usable. This room and the equipment are in need of a major upgrade.
Very nice stay”
The place is great. Sunrise and sunset view is probably best in town. The location is a bit away from they city but they have a free shuttle. Staff is bery nice and helpful and breakfast buffet is good. There is a coffee machine in the room, which we loved. The only thing I didnt like was a wierd unpleasant smell in the toilet in our standard room.
Great place to stay!!”
There was a small issue we faced during the 1st night but staff was very fast is getting things sorted out! Thereafter, we enjoyed our stay very much! We felt like king and queen! Service was great! Stay was 100% great!
This hotel had a beautiful view over all of Luang Prabang which was great for photos. My room came with a 10 minute neck, head & shoulder massage which was very relaxing. I ate in the restaurant serving Laotian food which was delicious. All the staff were very attentive, friendly and happy to accomodate menus to fit with dietary requirements.
We booked at this hotel for five nights knowing we were in Luang Prabang for 9. On the second day we quickly realized this was perfect for our needs and extended our booking. We have travelled to many countries and have never had better care and service. The management and staff are extremely professional, friendly and efficient. The rooms, are clean, the pool is huge, the view phenomenal, the food excellent. The staff prioritized our comfort and enjoyment in every way, eg they arranged excellent tours for no extra cost. Luang Prabang is a living treasure and this hotel helps to make it so.
Location is a little bit far from town. However they have hours shuttle bus and it’s quite convenience. At first our room has several problems: air conditioner is noisy, electronic pot is not worked. They offer to upgrade the room. The new room is very quite and has a nice view.
Back here twice this year”
I was here in Jan during high session, and I was here again in June during low session price was so much cheaper while maintain the great service, I like Superior it’s spacious and the view :)
great experience ”
The staff is nice, rooms are spacious, big swimming pool with great view over Luang Prabang. A bit far from the old district (about 3.5km) but no problem to us since we have the car
Excellent Hotel in Luang Prabang ”
I had best experience in Luang Pranbang View hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful and the view is speechless and breathtaking. Loved service and all staffs was kind and nice. I would stay in this hotel again for sure.
A Sweet Escape”
I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. It's set up on a hill overlooking the town and it's a beautiful view, especially when viewing the sunset. I didn't get to use the pool but it looked very inviting. The breakfast buffet had the usual with a good variety to please everyone. The bed was a little hard for me but that would be the only negative. I gave the location an excellent mark but you do have to take a shuttle in and out of town. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Wow what an amazing experience. The view around the pool looks over all of Luang Prabang with great little pool bar . Sunsets are what dreams are made of . Our room was large and clean . The food was delicious and we would come back to this hotel. Peter and Tania Australia
Amazing view and service”
It takes 10 minutes from Jomabakery but there is a free van every hours so no problem at all. View is amazing and swimming pool is awesome. People are very friendly and care about our next journey too. It was impressive. Thank you all workers!
The name says it all”
There are other hotels with great view, but this place has a stunning view. Spend hours looking out the large windows from the room. The hotel does needs a little more attention to the decor details, the carpet was to be caution (slippery, VERY), the staff performance are great as expected, overall, it's a hotel that you must try, great for couples!
Beautiful setting and great service”
The location of this hotel is lovely, set on a hill just outside the town with amazing views of the town and surrounding mountains. The hotel is quite new so our room was very comfortable and in good condition. The staff were all fantastic, particularly the general manger, and they went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. Despite the level of English varying between staff, all our requests were dealt with very promptly (perhaps because the hotel didn't seem particularly full while we were there) and they were very happy to assist with restaurant reservations, arranging tuk tuks for day trips etc. We didn't use the infinity pool as it was a little cold (and there is so much else to do and see in Luang Prabang so we didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel) but it looked lovely. The gym was small but well equipped, and wi-fi was provided free in the rooms. The free shuttle bus to town was very handy given the hotel is a little out of the way, however the last shuttle bus returning to the hotel leaves at 9.15pm, which made it a bit rushed when eating dinner in town - a bus leaving at 10pm would have been ideal although it was easy enough to get a tuk tuk back to the hotel. The food at the hotel was decent, although not as good as equivalent hotels in other countries, and food and drinks were very expensive (same price you would pay at 5 star hotels elsewhere in the world, but when compared with top restaurants in the town it seemed a bit overpriced for Laos). As there are a lot of fantastic restaurants to choose from in Luang Prabang we didn't end up eating at the hotel other than breakfast. All in all we had a great stay - Luang Prabang is a fantastic place and we would definitely choose to stay at the Shinta Mani again if we return to Luang Prabang.
hotel sits on top of a hill which is unique for luang prabang. most rooms--deluxe in our case--have good view of the city below. the hotel is fairly new (opened about 2 years) and the rooms, swimming pool, restaurant and internet lounge are nicely designed and clean. the modern open bathroom layout is slightly a problem for some of us in the family but overall it is manageable. being new and on a high elevation, the hotel still have teething problems to address. water supply was cut off for few hours on our last day and water pressure is unstable. my mother who is 80+ yrs old found the bathroom floor too slippery with no items to hold onto on the walls. we enjoyed the swimming pool, which has a good view and the coffee/internet lounge. good place to relax. staff and managers are friendly and responsive and we would like to thank mr. ek kingsada among others who make us feel at home and was helpful prior and during our stay.
great hotel with amazing pool”
We stayed for 3 nights at Shinta Mani and were really satisfied with everything. the deluxe room we stayed in had a terrace with a view of the luang prabang hills. the service was very nice however the pool service was sometimes not attentive as the hotel is newly open and doesnt host many ppl yet. there is a shuttle to the town and also a pick up from town which is really convenient. the pool is amazing, have never had a better pool in any hotel. all in all highly recommended.
We felt like we were staying in a chateau or castle, looking over the ramparts to a vista of Luang Prabang town. John and his delightful team of staff made us feel very welcome and handled every request, no matter how small, with efficiency and warmth. The hotel is a great escape from the tourist frenzy of the area (we stayed during a particularly busy time of year). Food and facilities are just what is needed. Well done all!
Very friendly staff and nice pool to relax.”
The hotel is a bit outside the city center but this gives a nice relaxed feeling. Every hour there is a free shuttle bus from the hotel and in less than 10 minutes you are in the city Centre. Friendly staff always willing to help to give recommendations for the area and to arrange trips. If we go back to lunch Prabang we will come back here.
Staff extremely efficient and helpful. John, the General Manager even organized a complimentary shuttle to fetch us from the Golf Club!. Amazing view and probably the biggest swimming pool in Luang Prabang. We would definately recommend Luang Prabang View Hotel.
I stayed in room 215 booking through agoda between 28th October and 3rd November. From the beginning I felt really welcome. The staff are so genuinely welcoming and friendly. Had a lovely room and nice mountain view from the balcony. The bed was slightly harder than I'm used to so they put a thin soft mattress on top. Everything was perfect! They couldn't do enough to help. The view from the swimming pool is stunning and the breakfast adding service was first class. I'd been on a business trip in China so was looking for a relaxing destination and that's exactly what I got. The fact the hotel is slightly out of town is a plus and the shuttle provided efficient and punctual. By the way Luang prabang is probably the nicest place I've visited in Asia. Highly recommend this hotel and regard it as my home away from home.. I'll definitely be back!
