AMAZING”
wow, I can’t even think of any words to describe our stay at Lucky Homes! It felt just like home, they made you feel so welcome! They helped us so much during our stay with national park tours, they would make us breakfast every morning when we had early starts 6am. The family that run Lucky Homes are the loveliest people we have met since our travels and we have been travelling for 3 months now! The rooms were really clean and spacious, we felt safe 24/7. The pool is very clean and the whole hotel is just beautiful. Amazing Location too! Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home, it made our time in Phong Nha 10x better! We will keep in touch with the beautiful family that run Lucky Homes and we will miss staying there too! We hope we can come and see you again soon x

Best hotel experience we've had in Vietnam”
Service here was exceptional. Owners went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. They helped book all of our tours, picked us up and dropped us off to the bus station for no extra costs and even made us some food for or long bus journey when leaving. The hotel is stunning and situated in a beautiful location along the river and only a 15 minute walk from the main shops. It is also the only hotel we saw that had a pool. Could not of asked for a better experience here and I would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay in Phong Nha you will be unlikely to find a better place to stay

Great and new facilities with friendly staff”
Our group arrived late in the evening, but the manager was very helpful in deploying a car to fetch us from the bus station. So did the early morning that we departed. Rooms are clean and spacious, bathroom amenities are decent. There is even a nice pool. Receptionist boy is very attentive and friendly. Last but not least, the hostel is just 500m away from Oxalis headquarter.

Quiet location with great river view”
The room we booked had a great view looking out onto the pool and river. The room itself was spacious and the bathroom was bigger than any bathroom we have seen on our trip. Hot showers were appreciated after a long day of trekking and caving. Having a restaurant onsite meant we didn’t have to travel anywhere for else for food. We had dinner at the restaurant and at times we also ate by the river. Great service was provided by the staff. We had to leave very early in the morning and the staff had packed our breakfast to go! We would definitely come back to this place if we had the chance to come back to Phong Nha.

Basic budget accommodation ”
We stayed for a couple of nights. The room was large with a large bathroom. Bedroom was basic, bed comfortable with clean sheets however the room smelt of damp. The whole place is tired and needs some tlc. We were able to check in early in the morning for an extra VND150,000 after an overnight bus ride, which was useful. Breakfast was ordinary with limited options; fried egg or omelette with a baguette. You can hire motorcycles and book trips from here. If I return to Phung Nha I would choose somewhere else to stay.

We have tried to contact you via email to let you know when you will arrive in Phong Nha, and would like to know if you need any assistance with transportation. Fortunately, we received your reply, but then we lost contact with you because you reported that there was no network in the car. So we were waiting for you at Home at 4am. We are not sure if your room will be available at 4:00 when you arrive, as we sometimes have last minute bookings. Therefore, we did not inform you about early check-in support before. Regarding the wet room issue, we sincerely apologize that it made you uncomfortable. 2 days you stay in Phong Nha, Phong Nha weather is very humid with moderate and heavy rain, and the room you put in on the 1st floor has many trees around and Humid in your room you have the air conditioner on, so it is inevitable that the temperature will change. The humidity in the room

Wish we had longer here - the room was massive and pool was also really big. We arrived at 4am and was accommodated too. The staff also rode us into town to get our bus. The view was also so nice!

Pleasant stay”
Rooms are very large, big windows with nice view. Bathroom is modern furnished, soft mattresses. It is very clean. This homestay is much better than most three times more expensive hotels in Vietnam! They charged me forbreakfast, although on agoda it says it isincluded. However, not a big deal, it is cheap anyways and I paid with a smile.

Lovely little home stay. Rooms/bathroom is huge. Pool was also big and really clean. Lovely view of the mountains. The staff were also lovely too, they picked us up and checked us in at 5am! 100% recommend :)

Good "hotel"stay”
Here for 2 nights, nice family who runs the happy home stay and always willing to help out and give advice. Rooms clean and own boiler for hot shower (very welcome surprise), swimming pool also clean and with a spectacular view. Perfect to stay for few days before or after visiting Phong Nha (caves)

Comfortable Stay”
We really enjoyed our stay at Lucky Homes. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom was huge. The breakfast was basic but nice to have. They should clean the rooms thoroughly, though. Our bathroom had a lot of spider webs in the window. The staff was nice and provided us with extra towels, space to dry clothes, etc. One thing I'd like to mention is that the pool area and facilities do not look as clean and as maintained as in the pictures. Covid hit this small town hard I'm sure so it's understandable, but the pool area looks a bit run down and the whole place just isn't as polished as in the pictures anymore. Still a great place, though, with an amazing view and comfortable beds. They provide free bicycles which was a huge bonus since the village is quite sprawled out and this allowed us to go to various restaurants and cafes.

El hotel se encuentra en la calle junto al río y al otro lado cuenta con unas mesas en la orilla para desayunar, comer o tomar algo. Es un hotel familiar muy moderno, con las habitaciones grandes y bien equipadas, aunque no hay TV. Tiene una piscina que viene muy bien para refrescarse. Hay muchos alojamientos similares a lo largo del río pero pocos tienen piscina. Está situado a unos 10 minutos del embarcadero a las cuevas de Phong Nha, que es donde además están la mayor parte de restaurantes y tiendas. Tienen bicis en buen estado gratuitas. Lo que menos nos gustó muy la comida. El chico de la recepción fue amable y nos ayudó en lo que necesitamos.

Bella stanza con bagno e splendida doccia. Ristorante annesso economico ma con buona varietà di piatti. Personale gentilissimo che ci ha procurato lo scooter per visitare le grotte più vicine (Phong Na e Paradise Cave) e anche il biglietto dell'autobus per Hue (accompagnandoci alla fermata e assicurandosi che fossimo saliti). Ottimo anche il servizio di navetta da Dong Hoi. Assolutamente consigliato! Beautiful room with bathroom and wonderful shower. Annexed restaurant economic but with good variety of dishes. Very kind staff who got us the scooter to visit the nearest caves (Phong Na and Paradise Cave) and also the bus ticket to Hue (accompanying us to the stop and making sure we got on). Also excellent shuttle service from Dong Hoi. Absolutely recommended!

Ruime, schone kamer & super service”
Fijne kamer met een lekker bed en een grote badkamer, allemaal super schoon. Service was top, om 4:30 werd ik vd bus opgehaald. Vriendelijk met alles geholpen, boeken trekking & bus naar vlg bestemming. Ontbijt was lekker! Hotel ligt iets buiten het centrum, zo’n 10-15 minuutjes lopen.
