Beijing International Exhibition Center is located in a district between the city center and the airport. Accommodation near the International Exhibition Center usually caters especially for conference attendees and short-term visitors who don’t plan on doing much sightseeing or spending significant time in the city center.
This area is dominated by exhibition halls. Of course, the greatest of these is China International Exhibitions Center itself, which is the product of a merging between an enormous hotels and an adjacent convention hall. CTS Tower is a similar venue that also hosts trade shows and exhibitions as well as lavish hotel suites.
While most of the people booking hotels near the International Exhibition Center are here for a conference, there are few other centers that draw business travelers and foreign nationals to the area. These include the China Association for Promoting Democracy and the Bank of Communications. Embassies for the United States, Canada, Australia, Argentina, Cameroon and Denmark are also here.
The International Exhibition Center is easy to access thanks to its position on the Airport Expressway. The route to the airport is well-maintained, and getting there by metro, bus or taxi takes around 15 minutes.
