Where to stay in Lujiazui and New Int'l Expo Center Pudong
Lujiazui and New Int'l Expo Center Pudong hotels & accommodations

the hotel is located one or two stops from the main metro station at pudong. therefore we could get out at night to dinners without having to catch taxis which were hard to get during the months of shanghai expo. the front desk service was fast. the bedroom is the best part. it is indeed modern with all the amenities comparable with other big five star hotels, the deco...

This has to be by far the best experience i had with any 5 star hotels in all my time travelling as a travel professional. This hotel is so well managed with impeccable service levels, motivated staffs and great rooms with fantastic views of the bund. Had issues with the booking due to confusing room types and rates displayed on Agoda. We booked this hotel only for th...

In the hear of Lujiazui and attached to a mall with many restaurants and shops. Walk to the Metro (indoor). Rooms are apartment style with full kitchen. Nice outdoor patio and large common "living room" area. Limited food service and selection for room service. No onsite restaurant (except for scheduled breakfast each day). Highly recommend this place.

This is a large, Chinese, modern, 4 or 5 star hotel, not brand new but a clean hotel. It is almost on the riverfront. You get a choice of river view or other and pay accordingly. There are a handful of restaurants along the river front, and of course the ubiquitos Starbucks. Some are bars, some cafes, some restaurants. Just take yourself along for a wander and expl...

Very convenient location. The Metro, Centuary Avenue Station is just 5-6 mins away. There is a big open mall just across the hotel with a lot of different restaurants, shops and even a Starbucks Reserve. There are a lot of big shopping malls in the neighborhood and the, Yaohan Department Store is not far from the hotel. Plenty eating and shopping choices. Inside the...

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Large, clean rooms. Friendly staff that tries really hard to please. The hotel is located next to the Line 2 train station which connects PVG airport with the city. If you take Line 2 for two extra stops, you may use the super fast MAGLEV train to get to the airport. The Maglev is very convenient since it gets you to the airp...

I stayed here as part of a team heading to the Shanghai Fair. Its the second time I've stayed and both times I have found that the hotel service, cleanliness and general facilities are impeccable. Its right next to the main entrance of the exhibition halls and is the most convenient spot if you are going to be spending a few days there. Its also just a short 20 minute ...

Firstly, I am.happy that Novotel hotel has upgraded me to premier room during my check in . Mr Steven the Manager is a very friendly and caring person. After I complained the air conditioner is not cold. ,he immediately rectified the problem. He also apologised the inconvenient caused and sent me complimentary fruits . Thank you Novotel for your service rendered t...

we have been staying at pudong shangri-la hotel every time we visited shanghai, we are very well acquainted with the surroundings of the hotel, the bed linens are of the best quality. usually, we book for room at the horizon floor to have the privilege in using the horizon club lounge in entertaining our guest. we can also enjoy the convenient of having buffet breakf...

We stayed there for an exhibition, and it was the cheapest hotel of that level around New Ehibition Center. Actually, the place is amazing for the price we paid! Rooms are spacious with huge beds and very clean bathrooms, service is nice. Breakfast was pretty poor by the way, but it exists anyway. If you're not ehibition visitor or participant, it can be very boring ...

This is a business hotel right opposite Shanghai Futures Exchange building in Pudong District. It lives up its 4* rating in almost every aspect - staff, facilities, amenities, cleanliness of the guest room, etc.. I was accompanying two senior citizens for a leisure tour in Shanghai and the reason we chose a hotel in the financial district of Pudong over one in the more...

Good place for long term visit in the Pudong area. Very close to many restaurants, schools and western style grocery store with USA products. Right outside the apartment compound is a local guy selling fruit at good prices. For the coffee drinkers, there are three coffee shops including Starbucks. A western style medical clinic is right beside the apartments if you ha...

This was our second time at the Green Court Diamond. First time 32 days, 25 & 7 with Agoda, then 20 nights again with Agoda. Listen this place is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC FOR THE MONEY AND HAS THE BEST FACILITY OF ITS KIND AMONG SERVICED APARTMENTS IN SHANGHAI . We decided to check out One Sunland Place on the subway, and Lanson Place across the street from the the other G...

I have stayed here for 5 nights both last year and this year as I had attended the Music Expo which is very close to the hotel. This is an excellent hotel with good facilities, amenities, courteous staff, good F & B offerings, excellent housekeeping services and Concierge/Bell desk/Door staff that can speak decent English and go out of the way to help you. Keep it up, ...

hotel is new and facilities are good and well maintained. hotel is close to the pearl tower and the bund (by taxi). being located in a business area it is not close to shopping areas but these can be easily accessed by taxi. hotel decor and staff are more in line with a 4,5-star western hotel, which is a very pleasant change from some china 5-star hotels. staff is e...

I've stayed in numerous hotels over the years and can confidently say that my experience at the Park Hyatt was second to none. The hotel itself is actually very discreet and almost feels like they took design from a 007 movie especially with the brown hues. Lobby staff was very helpful in providing directions, concierge staff were well mannered but most importantly the...

It is what you would expect from an IHG group. Wifi good, room clean and tidy, comes with bath robe. Excellent breakfast spread. 24hrs convenience store and mallls nearby. Only very disappointing aspect is pool has been closed for 2 months. Seriously, were you installing gold plated handle bars? So you can't escape the dreadful hot Shanghai weather.

This was an exceptional hotel. I stayed 3 nights with my partner. The room was spacious, very clean and frequently cleaned and maintained by staff during the stay. It was well-designed and laid out with a lovely free standing bath with a view across Shanghai. We decided to go for a package which included lounge access. This provided breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and...

What I like about this hotel is first it got very cheap price with good quality Two it has great design, a large hotel lobby and very friendly hotel staff. Three, it has large room, very comfort, and clean. Four, it has a good location which is has near location to subway train station to Shanghai Science station. Five, it has a nice view from the hotel to Parkview...

I found this hotel in the agoda website and it was a bit discount and close to the expo center so I decided to book, there was nothing around the hotel but you can get to the metro station only 3 mins and also to the Maglev train to the airport. The bellman and staff is very helpful. The room is clean and the hotel is big and good. The restaurant buffet is very good, h...

Hotel staff, cleanliness, location, pricing, everything is great! Except during a conference when there was a break, some people were smoking in the hallway outside my room on the 4th floor, the smoke seeped inside. This should not be allowed for a hotel of its class.

Radisson Blu Pudong Century Park was my home away from home for 8 days. On the first day I left my bags with my notebook, documents and passport in the taxi. The hotel staff especially Mr Yang, Chief Concierge came to my rescue. They tried all they could to call the taxi companies on recovering my lost bag. Despite my unfortunate incident, I had a truly memorable sta...

It was nice to stay in Sheraton Shanghai Pudong Hotel and residence. It's not the first time I stay in this hotel. The service is good, room is nice, bed is comfortable but the air-conditioner is really weak. Especially in this hot summer, they should improve that. Wifi has to be paid, but reasonable price.
Cheap places to stay in Lujiazui and New Int'l Expo Center Pudong

Ibis Shanghai Lianyang hotel is conveniently located in Pudong Xin Qu area where there are a few malls, restaurants, shops and supermarkets surrounding it. Its also a 10-15 mins walk if you need to get to the nearest train station, Fangdian. Otherwise, I should think its a considerably comfortable hotel to stay in, with a self-serviced laundromat on the first floor a...

the ibis sits like an oasis out in the middle of an abandoned expo area. the chain must have thought that expo would vitalize the whole area, making it a thriving area for commerce. it didn't happen, so the room rates are very good, the hotel quality is good, the location (next to a subway) is outstanding for access, and the consumer gets a room for a far better pric...

If you are looking for an inexpensive hotel with a basic nice clean bed on a quiet area with not frils this is for you. The subway or metro is not far and you can get to Pudong airport very easy . you can buy a day ticket at the station for 18 Yuans and the line 2 will take you to practicaly the best places.

At first the hotel gave us a smoking room. It was bad when we first entered the room. but the hotel staffs were quite friendly enough to let us choose rooms that dont have cigarette smell. The nicest thing about this hotel is that it is situated near the Shanghai Pudong Expo center, and it is just a walking distance from a nearby metro station. Besides, there are many ...

Pros: Great location Great staff Good restautant Easy to get a cab to destination Staff knows English Cons: Was granted free breakfast during my stay however it was only available too late or too early during my trip. I went to Leshan early and no breakfast and went to the zoo later in the morning and was too late.! Ordered a foot massage for my mother and it was...

Longyang Rd isn't quite the middle of nowhere, but it's best known for being the end of the bullet train half way from PVG to the city. That works great for some and I wouldn't stay anywhere else when in Shanghai - I love the convenience. The (non-English speaking) staff really go out of their way to help you through translator. But this isn't one of the world's great ...

i highly recommend this hotel for people who have business at the new expo in pudong including mercedes benz arena. staff at the reception are good enough to speak & understand basic english and are very helpful with directions and requests. there's a convenience store right beside the hotel door and you'll find a police station next to the hotel too. room is good enou...

Self serve washing machine and dryer with detergent and dettol supplied (need translate if you dont know chinese) Staff always smiling and cleaning room everyday Not too far from metro guanglan to get you into the city Very close walk to kfc and a supermarket and plenty of chinese restaurant/cafes

I had experienced many times for Jinjiang Inn hotel group in China, they are all same standard, clean but small rooms, not so far location, reasonable price. One important thing for foreigners is most receptionist can't communicate in English and it takes a long time for foreign passports when check in. However, no problem for me who can speak Chinese, I like this hote...

It's pretty good, since its clean and hot water is working well. But difficult to find taxi coming to the road in front of the hotel, you need to walk for at least 600m to the closest main road. Its very far from the metro, I think around 1,3km away. But since its cheap, couldn't complain. SNEC is just 15 minutes away by car, IF you got taxi.

located in the lovely area of pudong - new int'l expo center, shanghai rhea lakeview hotel @ sniec enjoys a commanding position in the business hub of shanghai. guestrooms are designed to provide an optimal level of comfort with welcoming decor and convenient amenities like air conditioning, in room safe, shower, coffee/tea maker, internet access - lan. the only...

Stayed at the executive room at top highest 40th floor for 7 nights. The pricing is reasonable as we booked well in advance through Agoda. The room is facing directly the financial district with astonishing day and night views of both the key buildings (Shanghai Tower, Shanghai Financial Tower, etc) and the Huangpu Jiang. Breakfast at the 38th floor executive lounge m...

Nice place with internet facilities, bar etc. not close to big shops or public transport which is a shame because it's a nice hotel. Speaking English was sometimes a little problem, however there is always at least 1 staff member who can help. The bed was hard just like most hotels in China

Our stay was good, overall. For a small hotel, the breakfast buffet was good. There was a mix of Western and Asian food. During certain times of the year, the air-conditioners in hotels are turned off. Benjoy is no exception, so this May 2013, our stay was warm with just the windows open. We found the hotel conveniently located, about 10-15 minutes' walk away from the ...

good hotel had large spread for breakfast and staff are very friendly. close to the subway station and convenient store. few local restaurants around. overall a good place to stay but a little off from the bund and other attractions. if you have some events or business at trade center then this might be more convenient.

Hotel is really good. Very convenient location. So many restaurants just opposite the hotel. Century avenue Metro station close by. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms. Great location if you are attending any exhibitions at the Shanghai Pudong New Expo Center, however, the apartment is only serviced in the sense it has towels and tooth brushes, you dont even get a key card for entering the building, so you have to wait until somebody opens the door for you or you have to walk 5 minutes to get a security guard...

I was not aware there are 2 Crown Plazas in Pudong so I was not aware this one was so far from the city. That said the hotel was very well run. Rooms were big and clean. Breakfast was great and other services up to those of an international hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I would consider returning to this hotel when I attend exhibitions in the future.

Overall, good value for the infrastrature, being former St Regis design. The hotel has certainly localised with less attention to bespoked courtesy. The swimming pool changing rooms are getting a bit old and 6th floor saunas and steam room need new tiles and fittings. Clear signs of wear & tear and lack of shampoo/tissues in shower rooms.

Superb hotel with staff that are a credit to the Four Seasons name!!!! The location is ideal for access to central Shanghai, as well as both airports. The rooms are extremely comfortable with everything you need for a perfect stay. The attention to detail is fantastic. Hotel is right across the road from the Shanghai New International Expo Center, which makes it an ideal choice for business travelers who will frequent the center.
