great place and excellent hospitality ”
the Lukafrica chalets are on a perfect spot, close to a river, so that you can enjoy sunsets overlooking the river, having the chance to spot wild animals such as hippos and crocodiles from a safe place. but not only the location makes this place something unique, also the owners are something special. Luk and Anita took perfect care of us even before arriving, sending us a lot of helpful information by email in advance (directions, prebooking of food etc.). during our stay of unfortunately one night only , we experienced their hospitality at its best: amongst them, a guided tour of the premises and it's wildlife, a free delicious welcome drink , tips where to go for sightseeing, the best food we had in South Africa and nice chats next to the fireplace. we would definitely come back if we will ever go to South Africa again!
