See you some day~~ it was sooo good. Price and size of room and service are my favorites. If the guy of the counter recommands something to you,such as tour or booking bus etc, just believe and follow him. Location of here is on the region which is the central of cat ba. Everything was nice. I want recommand this hostel to my relatives or friends. So below is korean review 여기는 호캉스 할게 아니라면 외국이나 다른나라 친구들이랑 즐기면서 놀 곳으로 최고입니다. 무조건 여기오세요 요리하시는 분이나 카운터분이 너무 친절하십니다. 즐겁게 잘 머물다 가요 I wanna revisit on the next trip so see u next time😄 thank you for helping to booking hanoi bus and tour

The breakfast (a la carte, but nothing special) is served in the magnificent rooftop bar and the staff is super friendly and helps you to organize busses and day trips. The dorm rooms are very comfortable and even have a window! It is not located on the main road, so it is pretty quiet and you could actually sleep with the windows open :)

Luna's is a great place when staying in Cat Ba Island. Harvey who works in the reception is such a great help and a lot of fun! You get free breakfast on the roof every morning and in the evenings the roof makes for a really good social spot for making new friends. All in all, I'll recommend Luna's big time!

Cozy beds, small rooms. Sadly the person at the reception wasn’t really nice, didn’t feel welcome. The location in town is good, a lot of nice places to eat. You can book busses and activities at the hostel as well.

I dodnt really enjoy the location and the facilities around but you have a restaurant jjst down the place ! Be careful my friend and me, got food poisoning from that place... 1st time in all South Asia i even lost conscious on the motorbike and got to the hospital. That was really bad. Also ot was hard to get answers from tve receptionn he was not much there, doesnt look interested in it ^^

Nothing like the reviews/pictures”
After reading rave reviews about this place, we booked a private room without question. Upon arrival we were shocked to find that room was so dirty, unkept, stinky, and overall just bad. There were several mosquitoes, a large moth, and a few flies. Stains on the walls, yellow stains all over the sheets, no comforter/blanket - Just a sheet. The bathroom was a scary situation – no soap in the dispensers, questionable yellow water in the toilet and overall didn’t appear to be very clean. We left immediately and decided not to stay according to our original booking. The receptionist was very aggressive and pushy despite our politeness and trying to explain that we no longer wanted to stay there (and we didn’t even ask for our money back). We would warn to be cautious of this hostel for a private room. Maybe the dorm rooms are better? Not sure.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooftop restaurant is delicious, with lots of affordable vegetarian options. Included breakfast is equally good. Rooms are clean and quiet with good curtains. The location is central but just out of the way enough you’re not in the hustle bustle of Cat Ba. Only downside: the scooter they rent is pretty run down.

Amazing place”
Luna’s is very cute. The roof top restaurant is a great place to just hang out and get something to eat or drink and escape the heat of cat ba. Their smoothies are the best!!! And their food is relatively cheap and tasty. Everyone in the staff was very easy to communicate with. The laundry smelled great. Overall we had an awesome sfay

One of the nicer Hostels on Cat Ba ”
It wasn't outstanding but as there is not so much choice on cat ba I feel like this is one of the better ones. Beds were comfy, nice rooftop. Bathroom not so nice but ok.

receptionist was very helpful and spoke English well. breakfast was yummy and had a variety of drinks and food to choose from. upstairs roof top is beautiful and pictures don't do it justice. room has A/C + fan + curtains so there was a lot of privacy. good motor bike rental but make sure to check the bike before renting, and take a photo for proof before renting.. location was a little higher up on the street than the other hostels and restaurants, but not by much.

Very nice rooftop restaurant. Clean bed and comfort of mattress above average. Friendly staff. Laundry service is not the cheapest in town BUT the lady managed to get my white-not-white-anymore clothes back to white !!!

Fav Hostel ever!”
First time the staff was open for a conversation. Nice rooms, AC is always on! Great rooftop restaurant where you can eat cheap and good!! When I left I felt like I had to say goodbye to the whole hostel bc I got to know 80% of the other backpackers! The boattour is more expensive but totally worth it!

Good hostel. Bed was comfortable and had privacy curtains. Fast Wifi. The English speaking reception was great - she helped me book a bus, motorbike, and gave good recommendations! Bathroom was OK, had a lingering smell even after it was cleaned. Standard SE Asia setup with shower and toilet in one room, so floor was often wet. Rooftop restaurant was good and convenient. However, my last night I saw some rats running in the corners by the potted plants, which made me concerned about cleanliness.

Chill hostel”
The restaurant on the rooftop is cheap and nice to sit. The staff is very friendly, also the staff at reception. The little girl living there is the cutest, and those little puppies on the front of the hostel are adorable! The bathrooms were not always very clean and I got a towel with stains in it. One night the room was super damp but I think this mostly happened because there were 5 sweaty big dudes in the room and the window was closed. The other nights it was not that bad when we were with girls and just one guy on the room and the window open all night.

Lovely hostel, amazing food”
We really enjoyed our stay here. Loved the food and rooftop. Rooms were new, had aircon and fan. Receptionist Tan is a legend, with his humor, helpful attitude and fluent English. We did the Captain Jacks tour, which was nice.
