The manager is very friendly and uncomplicated. I accidentally went to the wrong Lux Pillow Hostel and this was no problem. I could just stay there. As well is it super easy to meet new people there. And they rent e-bikes, which is a must-have in Bagan.

A+ staff”
All the backpacker basics. Clean dorms & beds; fairly clean bathroom (at hostel standards). Everything you need right around the corner too, on a busy main road w/ food + drinks (mostly at tourist prices, w/ a few more local eateries scattered about), bike rentals, laundry, tours, & shops, & the hostel can & will gladly arrange for anything you need. It was a bit quiet when I checked in at mid-week, but tons of people came to stay over the weekend (it was the New Year also). Should be easy enough to make friends / find travel companions; moreover, you can always find a friend in Jo (not sure about the spelling), the co-owner. He's super well-travelled, speaks amazing English, & has a ton of stories from his own travels & about living in Myanmar. If you need advice, directions, places to go to, insight into local culture, history, Buddhism, or the Myanmar way of life in general - he's your guy.

- dirty rooms and dirty downstairs bathrooms (outside) - bathroom attached to dorm room was decent - GREAT location, 1 min walk to Main Street in Nyaung U with many restaurants and shops - ebike rental through hostel is more expensive than on Main Street - very NICE staff who are very chatty and friendly with guests - small lockers for valuables on main floor - some beds have plug but not all - very close to temples for sunrise and sunset - can ebike everywhere to all temples and attractions!

Two Luxe Hostels but very coordinated”
There are two Luxe Hostels and one is near the highway while the other is about 3 blocks behind. Everything is good.

Very nice owner and good service”
We rented an ebike from the hostel and had a flat tire on the way cruising around Bagan. A quick call at the hostel was enough that they sent somebody to pick us up within 15 minutes and we didn't even have to pay for the flat tire.

The owner of the hostel was really nice and helpful, but there are better value places. The rooms were clean and beds were comfy, but the shower and the bathroom attached to the room seemed to be used by most other guests, so there were quite a lot of people coming in and out of the room. They had some toast and coffee for breakfast.

Good experience. Recently opened,the owner which is extremely welcoming(and whose English is good) is fixing the last details to make it an even better experience for the hosts.well located,in a quiete street right in the center. Wifi is not that good,but as it is everywhere in Bagan.

Good location for street food and restaurant in the night”
Stayed 1 nights there and hostel got all kind of service , bicycle and ebike rent, easy to get around, especially thanks for hostel manager help me to manage my transportation back to Yangon by flight

We were brought to a different hotel but it was great!”
We didn't stay in that hotel. On arrival, they brought us to another hotel quite around the corner: "Shwe Wun Yan Hotel". But we didn't mind, as the hotel was great! Very nice clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff.

The hostel is small but very nice. Wide common space. You can fill your water bottle and use the kitchen for free. There is an outdoor hot water shower and an indoor cold one, which are not convenient in late night or early morning in winter (~18 C outside).

I stay in their dormitory room with my little son, the room is clean, their bathroom also. Even their bathroom kind of far because in the first floor, but it doesn't matter, the staff is warmly, they Can't speak English well but their nice to us, they give my son a free breakfast too.

Solo Traveler for a short stay”
I went there for a short recharge. Price : Affordable Location: Quite good, about 10minute away from the temple(E-Bike) Cleanliness: Clean, it was actually a room in bungalow. Staff: Very Helpful, i called the staff in early morning(5-6am) disrupted his sleep and he was amazing cool with it. I originally submitted a request through agoda that i want early check in, but the staff said he never received it. Facilities: The room . kitchen was alright. Two toilet i never use the toilet in girl room, i used the one on the lower floor.Only problem was the toilet, it was the toilet in 70's-80's , you can see through the small flower hole. just a little no privacy haha.

Good location, comfortable bed, wifi works well, can book buses and activities through hostel. Breakfast is very basic, bread and bananas. Bathrooms are downstairs and outside.

Highly recommended. Have a big table out front where everyone meet up amd chat about their trip/s. Also free unlimited rum, cigars and peanuts is a big bonus. Go there!!

Great!! The owner is really chatty,helpful,charming!! Speaks amazing english and shared alot of his travel stories and stuff! It makes me feels like home, it's a good place to make friends as well! :)

Sheets are not changed for every customer. Only hot shower is outdoors protected with curtains. Seating/waiting area is hard rock couchs.
