Great boutique hotel, Great Location, Amazing staff. The old gentlemen who attended to me on the first day was amazing as he stood outside the hotel waiting for me due to the language barrier with the cab driver. He was waiting for me incase anything were to go south. After putting my luagages and was hungry, he gave me good recommandation of where the locals get their meals especially croissants! The room was amazing and I had the rooftop scenic to wake up too. Bed and toilet was top notch clean and modern. Would have extended 1 more night due to the change of plans however it was fully booked sadly. One thing travellers would have to take note is that the boutique hotel has no lifts and everything is transported through stairs thus if you have huge luagages or multiple bags, prepare for multiple trips up and down. Overall, one of the best boutique place i have stayed in with my friend and we both would recommand to anyone.

Nice rooms and great location”
My girlfriend and me visited the hotel in juli. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds are nice (a bit short though if you are over 190cm). The bathroom seemed like it was renovated quite recently and it was pretty spacious for its size. The shower could be easily adjusted to temperature and could fit taller people. Our room had a nice balcony too. The hotel is located in a very nice neighbourhood with a lot of nice restaurants nearby. Metro acces was also great. The only downside was that there is no lift. The price, location and room was great and i would certainly stay here again on my next trip to paris.

Great View”
We stayed at 5th floor, the highest floor and we enjoyed the view. Location and staffs were OK. But the heater wasnt working well and we were cold as that was during winter. Afterall, it’s a good place for young couples. No lifts, need to walk up. Good exercise😀

The only thing I would complain is there no lift! So if u have huge and heavy luggage u might do not wanna stay there! Other than that everything is perfect! The staff is super nice and most importantly it is very convenient. Bus and metro station are close! There are supermarkets and restaurants around the corner!

The Luxelthe couldn't have been in a better location, close to the hustle and bustle of Montmartre and close to train stations. Unfortunately, we were a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the room and the en-suite bathroom, this is definitely an area for improvement. Also, the room advertised on all the booking websites is not the room we were given, I'm guessing they only advertise a renovated room. The bed was super comfortable and there was no noise at all apart from other guests banging their big heavy luggage as they struggled down the stairs...No lift. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful too. It was a pleasure to stay here. If they spent a little more attention to keeping the rooms clean, I would give the Luxelthe a sold 7/10

Rooms are not like the ad pictures. No lift. Steep stairs. Helped a young lady get her luggage to the 5th floor. No hot water kettle to make tea or coffee or cocoa. Needs some updating. Nice staff. I am done with Agoda for lodging reservations.

Nice place but not nice stairs”
The location of the hotel is on the hill so either you have to walk up the slope to the hotel or down to the hotel depending on which metro you are coming from. Abbesses metro means you have to go down the hill but if you are from Pigalle metro you will need to go up the hill so if you have a heavy luggage, good luck. The reception does not look like your typical hotel reception, its just a desk. There is no lift and only a spiral staircase. Recommend to not stay in this hotel if you have luggages with you as you will struggle with the luggage on the spiral staircase. The room is just nice to fit 2 pax. There is no aircon in this room but it is still chilly if you're staying during the cool season. There are halal options nearby this hotel. I would not recommend if you have luggage with you. Else, I guess everything is okay unless you hate the stairs.

Happy times at Luxelthe Hotel (Mid-April)”
When I arrived the concierge Mokrane was sweet, helpful and very organised! The room was clean, airy and good size. The shower was surprisingly powerful with good clean towels. Sheets were great, soft and nice comfy pillows. Room w/bathroom all for £50 per day! Difficult to get cheaper particularly in that neck of the woods , 9th/18th arrondissement - Pigalle/Montmartre/Sacre Coeur - this rate is unbeatable and certainly well worth it! I would only warn everyone to remember that rooms on the street side will be noisier - singing/screaming/shouting/celebrating/music etc... on Friday/Saturday nights - so unless you are armed with earplugs/sleeping pills or whatever my suggestion is you make sure you get a room looking out on back area. The concierge at the desk Mokrane is simply adorable (as is other chap who works the late shift) he took a few messages for me, called my friend and a taxi all on his own phone!! I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone! !

Bright red carpeted rooms!”
In need of refurbishment. As is common in Paris, hotels can be hit or miss. The staff was helpful here though with holding bags, info etc. No lift. Big room, great location for proximity to tourist sites like Sacre Coeur and the shopping in Abbesses without being right in the dodgier areas nearby like Blanche.

Close to major attractions, romantic atmosphere”
This hotel is perfect to overnight in the heart of Paris. Hotel was 30 m from Pigalle MTR station, and some bus stations to the major attractions. Hotel did not have elevator, but the free WIFI in the room was a good compansation for it. :) The owner was really friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom clean, but do not expect anything special. Room was for me a bit like children room like with the red curtains and red table lamp in the room, but for me perfect if you consider that the hotel is located in the heart of Montmartre. ;-) We have been there in January, and was really happy about, that it was warm all the night in the room, heating system was running all the time. I suggest to everyone to make a romantic walk in Montmartre and Sacré-Coeur in the evening, and have a dinner in one of the bistros or restaurants there... If you want to visit Moulin Rouge, it is also just few minutes by walk from the hotel. All together Luxelthe is a good choise for low budget tourists.
