Dirty room with cockroaches ”
I’ve found the cockroach(alive) in the room while I’m on bed that really make me upset with the place, the toilet was already dirty with over flowing water at the toilet bowl and aircon remote control with on power of batteries in it. When I call to the receptionist immediately the line was automatic cut off (the receptionist only be there till midnight) it’s bad experience ever

Close to DM, Impact Arena”
We were there for a competition at Impact Arena. The stadium is a short 10mins drive away from the hotel. The hotel is located somewhat off the street within a village district, and the closest convenience store which is less than 5 mins walk away closes at 11pm. Despite the location, the hotel staff didn't make this a problem for us and were always helpful in securing a taxi to take us to wherever we wanted to go. Also, they spoke English well. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Nearest mall is about 10-15mins away (Central Mall, Chang Watthana) and Bangkok city was half an hour away by taxi, taking the highway. Luxor Hotel is closer to Don Muang airport.

i booked luxor hotel because it has a great price deal & wi-fi internet connection. and i'm very satisfied with it. the whole interior decorations is really egyptian like. the only downside is that the employees can't speak and hear english too good.

helpful staff, great service, clean rooms. the hotel is a bit far from the city center but the taxi service was organised conviniently by the staff. I am happy the hotel had a gym we could use for workout. The restaurant serves food until the late hours of evening. Internet connection was also free of charge in our room, we are very happy about that. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Luxor.

A ride TO the airport is NOT the same...”
The Luxor Hotel has been the least pleasant hotel I have stayed at in Bangkok. The hotel is much closer to Don Muang Airport than Suvarnabhumi Airport. When I left Suvarnabhumi Airport, the taxi driver had GREAT difficulty finding the hotel despite the fact that I had maps, the Thai address, and the hotel phone number (which he had to call three times). The cab fare from Suvarnabhumi Airport was 720 bht from all the extra driving as the cab driver searched for the hotel. Although it was after midnight when I checked in, I scheduled my "free" airport shuttle to Don Muang Airport for 9 AM in the morning. When I arrived in the lobby around 8:45 AM the front desk manager explained to me that I had a free airport shuttle FROM the airport, but not TO the airport. Long story short, the cab ride to Don Muang Airport was only about 150 bht. I will not stay at the Luxor Hotel again.

Quiet, big room, and clean”
Luxor Hotel is located off the main road. It is very quiet. The room is big, clean, and cozy. Mattress is firm. The room is just good. Inside arrangement is quite different from normal hotel room. Entrance is not packed with closet. It is spacious. I like it.

Don Mueang Airport stay over. ”
I had a very short stay at the hotel. I stayed here to catch an early morning flight at Don Mueang Airport. The stay was good.. But I was warned by my cab driver and the hotel staff that traffic is very bad from the hotel to the airport. I decided to leave the hotel very early (5 am) to avoid the problem. If I have a need to stay near the airport in the future, I would probably stay somewhere closer.

Good value for money if you're not expecting much”
The Luxor is a decent hotel assuming that you want to stay in an obscure part of Bangkok. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, staff are ok, and the food off the menu is fine, if somewhat overpriced. On the minus side unless you are there for an event at the Impact Center or have a strange desire to so the the rather obscure island of Ko Kret there is not much to do there and the hotel has no amenities at all so if you are thinking pool, spa, or whatever forget it. Oh yes it is also a transit hotel for Chinese tour groups so it can be quite noisy and the breakfast is uneatable unless you are also Chinese. NO fear on that score though because the hotel is only 10 minutes away from one of the best diners in Bkk. The New York Diner is a landmark for those of us who know the area, also Que Pasa is right there, possibly the best Mexican food in Thailand

Very attractive hotel”
Enjoyed my 5 nights at the Luxor overall. The breakfast was good, but I would have liked it if they changed the selections a bit. The rooms were very nice; big comfortable beds and nicely furnished. A little difficult for a few of my taxi drivers to find and not many shops or businesses around the hotel, though.

Not so close to the airport!”
We were expecting the hotel to be close to Don Mueang airport, but the taxi driver drove for almost 1 hour to get there... The room was not so good but ok just for an overnight stay. Staff was friendly. Breakfest was not so good. The good thing about it was the price!

we choose the hotel as it is near to the convention center impact. but even near to the convention impact half of all taxi drivers had difficulties to find the hotel coming back from there. but the stay of one whole week was very nice as the hotel staff was extraordinary friendly. we will surely come back to this hotel for another convention in impact.

Nice Hotel”
This hotel is in a fairly isolated area and nothing close to it. 7 Eleven about 10 minute walk. Not that close to Don Muang airport which was the reason we stayed there. Rooms OK but bathroom small. No swimming pool. Good breakfast. Asked for a 5 am wake up call as had to catch early flight but didnt get it.
