Highly disappointing ”
I booked the accommodation on 27 November to host people from out of town.I paid in full through Agoda when my guests arrived they were told this apartment is no longer used for bookings by a man who claimed to own the apartment.I corresponded with Nikeal in regards to getting my deposit and from November till this day 27 Jan I have not received those funds and no responses have followed. I am greatly disappointed

This apartment was a scam. I have been going social on media to tell what had happend to me... THROUGH Agoda! A prestigious company, failed to do proper checks on the host of the property. Which resulted us in being scammed and our money stolen. When we got to the accommodation apartment there were no keys or any information on how to access. We sent security up to the apartment and he had informed us there there were people living there. Tried to reach the owner where we got his contact details from the property manager but her avoided and declined calls and messages. Very dissapointing for Agoda to have such poor policies in place.
