Fabulous - everything we could have hoped for”
Halong Bay and Luxury Imperial Cruise Halong was a highlight of our trip to Vietnam. The boat, crew and food were fantastic. Our guide "Naughty Don" was hilarious and went out of his way to ensure all his passengers were kept happy and informed. The excursions were most enjoyable, especially the caves. The trip, and boat lived up to all our expectations and I would recommend anyone experience the Luxury Imperial Cruise. Fantastic value for money. I hope the tour operators and government officials appreciate how tourists and locals are contributing to the pollution of this natural wonder. Unfortunately, the bay is sadly polluted with rubbish spoiling such a pristine example of nature. Something needs to be done and soon. Thank you Luxury Imperial Cruise for a memorable experience and Naughty Don for ensuring my lost camera was returned to me in Hoi An -

Fantastic Cruise Company ”
Our stay with the Luxury Imperial Cruise Halong was one of the best ones of our stay in Vietnam. The staff were so, so friendly and extremely helpful to our needs. They encouraged everyone to have a great time during the cruise, and boat manager Hoan made an enormous effort of going above and beyond. We did so many entertaining activities, including kayaking, a tour of a cave and a pearl farm, a cooking class, squid fishing and everyone even got involved in a karaoke night. The boat was extremely clean and well tended to, and the food was over and above what we expected it to be. We met so many other lovely travellers, and the cruise staff made sure that everyone was having a good time. We would highly recommend the Luxury Imperial Cruise to anyone looking at seeing Halong Bay.

My family had an amazing time on the Luxury Imperial cruise. Our guide Mr Ten was very friendly and helpful. He made sure that my family's needs were taken care of and that we were comfortable throughout our stay on the cruise. He had good knowledge of the place and gave us tips on travelling around Hanoi too. The food served on board was delicious. The crew on board was really helpful too. We took the 3D2N cruise. We definitely want to visit Halong Bay again on the Luxury Imperial Cruise and extend our stay to the bungalows.

Of the hundreds of Halong Bay cruises available, this is the one to take. The boat was very nice and looked much better then many of the others we saw. The staff were extremely friendly and made the trip great. Every meal was great and the drinks were cheap. If we go back to Vietnam, we'll book with the Luxury Imperial Cruise. It is a 10 out of 10.

We were upgraded to the new boat this company has! It was the best boat we saw of the many cruise boats in the bay. Excellent quality and a good variety of food (all meals were included). The room exceeded our expectations. The bath had a jacuzzi. Plus the scenery was spectacular. The tour guide who accompanied us on the entire trip was friendly and had a good command of English. We were picked up at our hotel in Hanoi, taken by bus to Halong Bay to get on the cruise ship. Afterwards, we were taken back by bus to Hanoi to our hotel. Everything was included in the price. We got a better deal booking in advance with Agoda that we could have gotten in Hanoi.

Pleasant Surprise”
I booked imperial cruises but we ended up on silversea cruises which ended up being a more expensive cruise so a bonus. The boat is very clean and nice and has happy hours. They took us to.Ti top island which is worth the hike but maybe not the swim. Then you go kayaking around a pearl farm - great place and views! The next morning you visit surprise cave and this is an amazing natural wonder. It's a massive complex and lives up to the name. Well worth it especially if you get upgraded to.silversea cruises

Upgraded to Silversea Cruise”
We were actually upgraded to Silversea Cruise (4 star) which is apart of the same tour company I believe, so my review is actually for them, not Luxury Imperial Cruise. The rooms on the Silversea Cruise are lovely and super comfortable. We loved the service and the food on the boat was beautiful, delicious and really nice quality. The facilities are great and the staff were professional courteous and fun too! Tony was a great tour guide and really looked after us and kept us informed about our activities. We weren't coerced to participate in the activities if we didn't want to, but we had the choice which was great. I would definitely go on this cruise again, but we would probably skip the night on the bungalow as its a big step down in quality from what you experience on the boat. It's a great little escape and it is pretty, but it's more backpacking style facilities, whereas the boat is more luxury. Unfortunately the water isn't that clean where the bungalows are, so we didn't swim.

Excellent”
Had a great time on the imperial Cruise. Stayed one night on the boat and the other on nam cat island bungalow. Was travelling with my friend! The rooms were quite nice and clean with comfy beds. All of the food on the trip was excellent. Trip to the surprising cave is very touristy but worth a look around. Kayaking is fun! Stayed in a Deluxe Bbungalow and still had beautiful sea view! Lots of fun on the island and choice to take a cycle or relax on the beach. Our tour guide was fantastic and made the trip unforgettable. All round a great trip! Would recommend

Couldn't have been a better experience”
This is definitely a super worth trip to go! The halong bay scenery is soo beautiful and t he crew on the Imperial cruise were so friendly and crazy. Especially our tour guide Mr Ten He is so professional, friendly and very caring to all. All of us had great fun on the boat. The food is so delicious and the quantity is so much that we cannot finish most of the time. It is a super fun trip and i am looking forward to my next trip there again!

Nice trip with 3D2N”
Halong Bay was marvelous. Some grotto like shapes of cock, dragon or Buddhas.Thousands of cruises start everyday for trips that sailing around and around.We luckily booked our trip on this season The trip on Luxury Imferial Cruise 3D2N was excellent.Bungalow very nice with tour guide Mr Ten was amazing, funny helpful and care us. Also, don't forget to bring a camera to take the pictures of Halong Bay. This is a place that have to visit.

Great tour!”
My boyfriend and I had an enjoyable time on the Halong Bay Cruise - we were upgraded to the Silverseas cruise and did the 3D2N option with one night in the bungalow. The staff were all extremely hospitable and the food was great as well. The only downside was that we were unable to visit CatBa Island during our stay in the bungalow because they said there was a police issue. However, if you are younger and want more of a party boat, this wouldn't be great for you as most of the passengers were older and the itinerary was more catered for them as well (i.e. there were quiet hours).

Imperial Legend Cruise Halong Bay”
Halong Bay is an amazing place to visit and the Imperial Legend boat cruise (also staff, itinerary, crew, food, cabin) was perfect. They organized interesting activities and were very friendly. I'd like just to suggest to serve free water during the meals.

Overall excellent, but can improve on some parts”
We stayed for one night on what we were told by the guide was the most modern boat in the Vietnam Open Tours fleet... and this was comfortable, but not "luxury". Another couple were transferred to, I think, the "Legend" boat for overnight accommodation, and they found that to be sub-standard. The stay at the Cat Nam bungalows was a nice day to chill out, but the transfer from the main cruise boat to the island was on a fairly basic ferry boat. The staff were always helpful, but the guide on the boat did not seem to know much about facilities on the island

Amazing - Highly recommend it”
Great staffs, knowledge guide, prompt service, especially the food was so great!! The cruise provided a service that made my stay completely relaxed, yet stimulating. One tip for whom wanna go to Halong bay, you should bring a good camera to record the memories there, so incredible! :) Highly recommend this tour to others who wanna come to Halong bay, I should have booked 2 nights. You guys made me feel sastified, though single traveller. Such a wonderful trip!!

Trip to Halong Bay”
I would have preferred to stay on big boat rather than transfer off to little boat so many times. That is not relaxing for trip. The bus traveling from Hanoi to Halong Bay very small and over crowded. Very uncomfortable bus trip both ways. I think the tour is taking cheap way to hire small bus when they could have bigger more comfortable bus. Luggage piled in bus not safe situation as luggage can move around and hurt someone. This really took away from the over all good experience of the Halong Bay Cruise. Next you say you pickup at hotel but when I get there they told me I had to take taxi to your office. Taxi take long time because in early morning and cost lots of money that I had to pay. Not a good experience from Tour Operator. Arthur I don't think you message to customers is very good.

Well appointed midrage priced tour”
Halong Bay is a must see location and Imperial Cruises turned out to be a good choice in the mid price bracket. The average age of the clientel onboard wuld have been 25-45 yo thereby making this cruise fun and fast.

Got upgraded to Halong Silversea Cruise, I think which is new and better in facility. We did enjoy the 2D1N trip and found the guide Tom smart and funny and able to take care everyone. The price for drinks like beer and fruit juice is alright. Wine is a bit expensive to me. The bill we paid on check out is accurate. Overall very good!

Nice staff, but not Imperial Cruise”
We had a nice time. All the staff made a big effort. Note though the itinerary on Agoda is different and the cruise is not Imperial Cruise. However it is roughly as described and we would recommend it.
