Lovely hotel, an oasis of calm in a lovely city”
We really appreciated being able to access our room early in the morning, and then after we’d checked out we sat and relaxed in the beautiful peaceful garden until it was time to catch our train. Food was delicious and first class service. Felt like we were staying in one of the many palaces we’ve visited during our India trip
Great hotel, peaceful haven in city centre ”
Lovely heritage hotel, so nice to be able to return here for peace and quiet and escape the bustle of this amazing city. Great service, delicious food
Enchanting Heritage Hotel!”
The reviews can only capture part of the magic when you turn into the small driveway from a busy Jaipur street, and then enter the doorway of this special heritage hotel. A former villa, this special place has rooms with canopy beds, colonial furniture, Courtyards (many of them), a great dining room with a magnificent chandelier and paintings of the Jaipur maharajas, swimming pool, mysterious flute playing, ancient puppet shows and then some. I think pretty much all guests knows we’ve stumbled on a very unique place. That’s not to say it’s perfect! Dinner is primarily the terrific buffet, but we wanted something lighter, so ordered a la carte. Mistake! It took way to long for it to be prepared. We learned our lesson the next night by ordering a la carte but choosing a dish on the buffet. Much smarter! Our room, though beautiful, did have a musty smell, but we overlooked it as we were happy to be there! Breakfast was great as were the dinners. Go! Be enchanted too!
Authentic Haveli with a lot of character”
This hotel is a bit of an oasis in a central location. The rooms are quaint, nice size with lovely features. I booked well ahead to secure a good price for what you get. The shower was good. Was nice to sit in the courtyard with a beer, but like most hotels they certainly know how to charge for the pleasure, costing more than most European destinations. Uber was easy to use. The location can appear a bit scruffy and intimidating but that's the norm in Delhi. Just be confident and generally go about your business, don't fall for random approaches. The staff are ok.
A good heritage hotel but clarity in facilities provided for the cost paid was found to be wanting. ”
It ought to be that Bed & Breakfast as a given and not charged separately. Secondly, with GST & CST charges it was unfair to charge service tax too. We never paid any service charges at other 4 & 5 Star facilities.
Beautiful place, nice puppet and flute show at night”
I love my indian theme room and also the design of the whole building. Every corner in the hotel is good spot to take picture. I like the puppet show at night and the indian guy playing flute. However, their restaurant service is very lack. The staff is very slow. We order 2 meals only and wait for 45 mins. And there is no door man to help open the door. Their main door is old design and hard to open. We have many luggages and and we asked receptionist why noone help to open door and he said he was gonna come but its too late. But again when we check out no one open the door even though i see one staff standing doing nothing
Very beautiful heritage hotel!!”
The Room is rather big with comfy bed and clean washroom. The staffs are service-minded but insufficient in amount to help their guests in some times (i asked for bellboys to help carrying my luggages from the 3rd floor as the hotel has no elevator, it took 25 mins for the staffs to come to my room). I recommend them to build the elevator to support travellers with heavy luggages as well as the old-age customers!!! The environment of hotel is really good incl. green parrots flying around the trees in the hotel. Eventhough the hotel located near the pink city, but after u entered into the hotel area, everything surrounding is calm and peaceful. great hotel!!
Dirty hotel with poor quality food”
I was disgusted at how dirty this hotel was. My room had not been dusted, the doors had finger prints on them and the place clearly hadn't had a proper clean. I was unsure if my sheets had been changed as they didn't feel fresh. The toilet near the pool was vile, papers everywhere and again no one had cleaned it. The breakfast was really poor, croissant was soggy. The staff were very average. I am just grateful I only had to spend one night there. I was so shocked as this hotel had good reviews. Think twice before booking this place, it is not so charming after all.
Good location and a beautiful old heritage hotel.”
The location is good for a walk into old Jaipur. The staff is friendly and the accomodation is good, breakfast for asian as western very good. Beds are good, bathroom clean, I don't prefer to shower int the bathtop, maybe other rooms have a walk in shower. We had a spacious "de luxe room" with a nice view on the corner of the roof terrace. A con is when guests use a heater or ac, the resonance on the wall could disturb. We loved the music of the flute player on the nice terrace in the mornings and evenings. Value for money, it is not a cheap hotel, but worth the money.
A charming heritage hotel but be prepared to pay for higher than average food bills”
My husband and I stayed two nights at Alsisar Haveli during our 2 weeks tour in India. We were charmed by the decoration and the style of the haveli the moment we walked in. The room was nice, it is old fashion and not the most modern but we felt very comfortable in an old classic clean room. The TV is basic with Indian channel only but we weren't into watching TV anyway. It was December so we didn't need to use the air conditioner. Apart from the beautiful living room/ lounge, there are lots of nice attention to details such as the puppet show (very funny) and the pungi player (if I haven't mistaken). The pool area looked beautiful and well maintained although it was a bit cold so we never used it. The restaurant is another amazing room in the hotel and must be experienced. Breakfast was not included to the price of the room. We ended up having 2 evening meals (one night buffet and one night a la carte) and 2 breakfast at the hotel and the total came to £80. The bills were higher than expected due to taxes and service charge added to evening meals. For example: One Evening buffet for 2 (with 2 soft drinks) came to INR1900 + INR190 Service Charge + INR376 Taxes - Total INR2466. One Buffet breakfast for 2 came to INR1200 + INR216 Tax - Total 1416. The evening meals were nice. However, buffet breakfast was below average compared to all the places we stayed during our two weeks travel. I would have liked an omelette, toasts and a cup of tea but there was no a la carte option. The staff were efficient but not the warmest. A few times the staff only greeted my husband but ignored me. All in all, a wonderful stay at this unique heritage hotel due to it's wonderful décor and charm layout.
Lovely- an oasis!!”
Favourite place we stayed in our India trip. Full of atmosphere, but spotlessly clean, rooms all looked newly decorated, bathroom modern and spotless. Good pool. Staff really friendly and engaging. Loved it! Jaipur is MAD, this was just magical
We wanted to book this hotel as soon as we saw it. It was only available for 1 night but we booked it anyway and booked another hotel for the remainder of the trip. Amazing! Room was ok really, but the surroundings are beautiful. They even have their sheesh (mirror) hall. There's also a nice rooftop terrace. They have these cozy seats along the corridors. Very peaceful inside the hotel compound. I highly recommend this hotel!
We stayed at the Alsisar Haveli for two nights with our two children, aged 5. The hotel was easy to get to and well located. It was quiet and peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of Jaipur. The pool was a nice addition for the kids and the restaurant served reasonable food. The room was a twin room, nicely renovated and enough space for our family. The restaurant staff were very friendly, however, the reception staff were just ok. Overall, a great experience and we would go again.
Amazing heritage hotel. Beautiful, classic, and fascinating. Staff were wonderful and helpful as well.
Lovely hotel, a tranquil setting in the melee of Jaipur”
The rooms have character, the facilities work well. The hotel has a lovely peaceful ambiance, plenty of space to chill out.
Place is stunning and located not far from center (but long walking distance)”
Facilities is good staff is helpful. But wifi connection is complicated.
Unbelievably beautiful hotel with fantastic service”
If you want to feel like you stepped back in time this is the hotel for you. Turning off of a ramshackle street in old Town Jaipur you instantly return to the time of the Maharaja. The hotel is like a scaled down version of the city palace. The attention to detail in the architecture is beyond description. An large inner courtyard house a pool and spa which because of an overcast sky was too cool to enjoy. A large buffet breakfast and dinner is served in a very large dining room. The food was very good and the waiter service is first rate. This a perfect place to stay in Jaipur
Dear Guest, Thank you so much for your wonderful words. We appreciate your feedback immensely. It was a pleasure to have you stay with us. Hope to see you again. Regards Dhruv Singh Alsisar
A well kept Heritage Hotel!”
We stayed here for 4 nights and loved every minute of it! The hotel is beautiful and set in lovely grounds. It was truly an oasis in a fascinating and busy city. The pool is wonderful after a hot day to swim in or lounge around, the service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely stay here again.

Extremely well restored old haveli”
On approaching the Alsisar Haveli Hotel, one enters from a dirty dusty squalid street. But a fabulous surprise awaits on passing the gate and entering the courtyard. The staff is waiting to greet the guest(s) and the guest is lead across a beautifully landscaped garden, past the dining room on the left and the swimming pool on the right, to the tastefully decorated guest rooms. Everything has been perfectly restored, and the rooms and the public areas are immaculately clean.
This place is fit for a queen”
This place was just breathtakingly beautiful
