To far from the city”
Bad service when check in. I order 2 rooms and when I come to the hotel they change me 3000 bath to get the rooms on the same floor. If I not pay they put my family on 7 floor and me on 14. That is not a 5 star hotel, I will not come back.

Good inclusvie stay with amenities”
My wife and I enjoyed our stay mostly,; however, I was looking forward to visiting the nice pool view as pictured in the property description. Unfortunately, WE were not informed until we arrived that ths was an exclusive option for another level of booking. This left a bad tase in my mouth. Otherwise, it's a decent place to stay. I'll most liukely not book here again.,

Overall it was a very comfortable and nice hotel,staff are friendly and helpful.As I am on business trip, nice and cosy room is all I need after a busy day.Will definitely consider staying here on my next trip.
Quite an old 5 star hotel - It had its days”
Big room, great food, excellent breakfast and very nice rood top bar, very friendly staff but the hotel is quite old as well as the rooms, good value for the money we paid but not a 5 star anymore

I booked this stay as a birthday gift to my aunt and they were able to assist me with my request on her special day. Really poor hotel”
We checked in at 5 pm, the room was still not ready, and the rooms delivered afterwards were not cleaned at many point. After the complaint, We changed to the high-floor room. I really don't understand why the hotel will give priority to the guest's poor room, and will arrange a better room after the complaint. Can't just omit the complaints section directly, make everything easy and happy? Finally don’t think about this is a anantara hotel!

My New Favorite Hotel To Stay in Bangkok”
I booked this hotel at the last minute through Agoda and I was received well at reception with no issues. The staff is very helpful and was very accommodating to all of my need and it really helped that ALL of the staff level of English was the best I've ever experienced in a hotel in Thailand. The room was beautiful and designed well and the rooftop was gorgeous. The in-room dining was AMAZING and every single that I ordered was well prepared, fresh, flavorful, and always came within 30 minutes of ordering. When I was ready to check out the reception had my bill printed for me and delivered to my room before I came downstairs to make check out easier. This WILL BE the only hotel that I will stay in from now on in Bangkok, thank you soo much for a pleasant stay!

For me, this is the standout hotel in Bangkok. A little out of town which I like. Great facilities and the staff cannot do enough for you. The rooms are large and have a magnificent view. Depending on the floor obviously. Not too far from MBK and the Skytrain. The breakfast pretty much has everything covered and the rooftop bar is amazing? Big enough gym as well as a beauty spa and sauna. Just go up there at sunset for a drink and you will see. I really cannot fault this place. Certainly my first point of call when I come to Bangkok.

A little bit old but everything is still ok. However when i check in , although i go hotel at 7pm ( late with check in time) but my room still not yet already. Price is good with this choice! ( 5 stars hotel but price is not expensive). Rooftop bar is beautiful and have good relax time.

I love love the nicest staff at hotel...they are always opening door n assisting us in n out taxi, tuk tuk or anything. I don’t mind giving tips over n over for their services at all. Love love this location as well..not too far from places we wanted to go
Great hotel ”
We had five days in Anantara Sathorn and could easily have stayed longer. In our opinion the room rates are very low compared to what you get. Staff is amazing and super friendly. Food is very good, at the high end of the price scale but worth it for us as they know everything about Gluten free food etc. to us everything was great at this hotel.
1. One bedroom They gave us an upgrade! Actually, I'm used to reading reviews before I book hotels and I saw there a series of free room upgrades they extended to their guests. True enough they gave us a free upgrade! This goes to show that this hotel is very generous to their guests and has an all out quality service. They even gave us free slice of cake and designed room for our anniversary special. The room was huge and spacious. The bathroom was complete with amenities. I'd like to extend my gratitude to the always smiling Scarlet for giving us a very nice treatment during check in. Thank you! 2. Dining They offer a variety of food and a very classy interior. We had a full tummy every time 😉 This is a superb hotel and I will always recommend this to all my friends who will visit Bangkok. Thank you!
The overcapacity hotel ”
This hotel is extremely overcapacity . The checked in time is 2pm we can go to my room were 3pm and i saw many guests have to wait until 5pm to receive the room . The breakfast you have to get line and wait to have breakfast during peak breakfast time . Not enough sunbeds to accomodate guests i think it has only 15 . The location is far from everything you have to take taxi
The AC in the room is rather old and cannot be adjusted to the right level, it is either very damp and humid feeling at 24celcious or freezing with strong fan at 23 celcious despite adjusting fan level. WiFi connection is very poor throughout the hotel, especially in the bedroom

The hotel location is not the best, but the best service ”
The staffs are very polite and helpful. The hotel is well decorated and clean. The room is big and new although I wish they have microwave provided. Although they have kitchen in the family room. Eating in room is not convenient because they don’t have the table equipments provided you have to call the counter and wait about 30mns before you can get the spoons and forks.

The only thing I have to say - The hotel invites you to check in before arrival- totally inefficient. I STILL had to Q I STILL had to hand over my passport I still had to charge my credit card Would have been quicker as a walk in.

Perfect place to stay in Bangkok”
It's hard to decide what is best about this hotel. The service from the staff is friendly, warm and genuine. It is clear their mission is to please their guests and we felt pampered and spoilt. Then the room we had was absolutely splendid. A clean, spacious area that became our home for 4 nights. Nice facilities and lots of surprising extras included. We ate several times at the hotel and although you could find cheaper it's reassuring to know the standard and quality of the food is excellent. The meal we had in the restaurant was top notch. Then finally to top everything off there is a view from the rooftop lounge and bar which is astounding and frankly something you would be happy to pay for on its own. Combine that with a cocktail or two and you've hit the jackpot! If ever we are fortunate to visit Bangkok again we will book this hotel without hesitation. Thank you to all concerned.
Reasonable High Standard”
Excellent Breakfast, Pool, Steam Room and Sauna. Spa in the Pool is not worth mentioning. I did pay more for a Suite so that I could have the Living room isolated from the Bedroom, to enable complete darkness in the bedroom but they had a Smoked Glass wall between the Bedroom and Bathroom. For that reason I would not stay there again.

Lovely stay at gorgeous hotel. Booked balcony room at discount, was upgraded to gorgeous one bedroom suite! made up for pool not being available on check in evening (area was booked for a function). Great staff and service. Enjoyed the huge gym next morning hefore check out. Unfortunately not enough time to use the pool or spa facilities. Was in Bangkok on transit. Hotel is on edge of business district. 40 - 60 mins taxi ride (depending on traffic) from Suvarnabhumi Airport. Metered taxi approx 415-500 baht. Short walk to bus station, 10 mins to MRT and shops and eating areas on main road perpendicular to the one that hotel is on, just past MRT.
Pretty decent hotel. I would avoid the steak though. It's clearly frozen as imported from Australia and very average - why they don't age their own or buy in from Arnos I have no idea. The overly elaborate table served aerated hollandaise and vegetable presentation were plain strange. Whoever thought up that rubbish should not have been given the time of day. The staff were all very nice, but young and not trained very well. This is down to management though, they really need to educate their staff about what food they are serving (our waiter had never even heard of mustard) and they need a grounding in wine - how can you sell something you know nothing about? This I would expect of a bar selling Mont Claire, not a supposedly 5 star hotel pushing fancy cuisine and wines. The seafood buffet was nice, but the seafood itself wasn't fresh. They did have a variety of other dishes, but with the focus on it being a seafood buffet, this should have been a key factor to get right.
