Agoda and Fullerton Hotels Singapore form strategic partnership
SINGAPORE (July 14, 2010)
Agoda.com, Asia's global hotel site and part of Priceline.com (NASDAQ: PCLN), today announces a partnership with Singapore's Fullerton Hotels.
The Fullerton Heritage Group owns and operates a definitive selection of iconic Singaporean properties in key locations across the Lion City. Two of the group's key properties are the historic Fullerton Hotel Singapore and the recently opened Fullerton Bay Hotel on the Marina Bay waterfront.
The partnership with Agoda means both Fullerton properties will be distributed via the Agoda website, available in 30 different languages, to a membership database of more than one million.
The upscale Fullerton Hotel Singapore sits in a prominent position in the Central Business District. Formerly known as the General Post Office, the building dates back to 1919 and features neo-classical architecture and a grand central atrium. Today, the completely restored building houses the Fullerton Hotel which boasts 400 luxury rooms and suites, several restaurants, fitness and leisure facilities and a selection of high-end boutiques.
The newly opened Fullerton Bay Hotel on Marina Bay features striking contemporary design and offers waterfront dining and entertainment. The hotel's 100 luxurious rooms each feature a private balcony which offers sweeping waterfront and skyline views.
Agoda is excited to represent the high profile properties, strengthening its Singaporean presence and offering excellent room rates for both Fullerton hotels to its membership.
As with all Agoda hotel partners, Fullerton can control its information and monitor inventory through the proprietary Yield Control System (YCS). YCS 3.0 enables hotels to alter rates and create promotions online. New upgrades to the system include a Promotions Wizard and time-saving functions such as the Auto Refill which helps properties keep their inventories up to date.
