Worth the money”
This place is a haveli situated in the old part of town. Very friendly and courteous staff. It is situated very close to the market place and mehrangarh fort . If you have your own vehicle it will be a bit of a hassle entering and leaving this place but it was worth the trouble
Not upto standards ”
This hotel is in the centre of the city and we had to leave our tempo traveller outside the city as the roads are congested. Hotel provided the tuk Tuks for pick up and drop off from our tempo traveller. The rooms are decent size but no toiletries were provided. No iron available , no top up of complimentary tea and coffee next day. We found this hotel overly priced and did not enjoy our stay. Breakfast is good!
Great location, clean and spacious room, great staff.”
The hotel is located in a good area, the staffs were accommodating and the room we stayed in was large and clean. Hot shower and good breakfast. Water is only 20rs and chicken burger is great if you wish to eat non-indian food. The toilet at the restaurant can be cleaned more often though.
highly recommended for stay in Jodphur”
Great view of the Mehrangarh Fort from rooftop room. Extremely spacious room and toilets. clean comfortable beds. breakfast did not have much choices but eggs and pancakes were good. staff are also very friendly and helpful.
very near mehrangarh fort”
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel with its friendly staff & owner. The infian food wss superb especially the tandoor baked nan bread . The best nan bread I have eaten in my entire stsy in india. The location is just a stone' throw away from the fort. At night it has a picturesque view of the fort from the restaurant. I can't hrlp but let my imagination fly knowing that the hotel used to be the stable of the fort & where the trusted horsemen stay...such a memorable stay in this beautiful & historical haveli.
Fantastic hotel with lovely owners”
Very good hotel in the old city of Jodphur. Very friendly owners who helps you with everything you need. Ver safe place and beautiful spacious rooms. The restaurant serves lovely food on a superb roof top with magnificient vieuw of the old fort.
Lovely, multi level hotel.”
Great free transfer from the train station, even though the train was over an hour late. Easy to walk up to the fort, round the markets, and to the train station. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was ok, usual basic fare. But the food served off the lunch/dinner menu was excellent and good value with a great view of the fort. Only slight criticism was the reliability of the wifi, the signal was only available in the restaurant and the connection fluctuated a lot.
Can not recommend stay away”
The staff at the roof top restaurant were very nice but they did not have many item that were supposed to be on the menu. What they did have was cooked to perfection. The morning breakfast was not much choice and cold. There is a Mosque with in 100 yards of the hotel with loud speaker on the roof. They have sermon's at night so you cannot have a conversation with anyone its soooooo loud. My room had an ants nest in the bathroom closet. The air conditioning is old and very noise I am glad I had ear plugs. If you have a large car you will not be able to drive to this hotel because the roads are to narrow and very busy you will have to take a tuk tuk or walk. I could write more about this place but you get the idea. Just don't say at this place it a waste
Excellent haveli beautiful worth the money”
They wrote so many things as facility but does not allow u to drink outside. I carried my drink to top of dinning area they were absolutely no one and this waiter comes and tells me drinks not allowed I simply say it's cool drink and next thing waiter asked me if he can smell the drink. that was it. I left to my room and food quality and taste is terrible ... hotel is beautiful worth staying
Great - if you don't like air-conditioning”
The location is excellent, the layout and décor of the hotel very nice. Unfortunately the air conditioning doesn't work well enough in any of the rooms, and in April with temperatures around 38-40.C this makes for a hot and uncomfortable night. We were moved from Super Deluxe to a smaller Deluxe room in the hope that it might be cooler, with a generous 100 Rupee discount per night. ($1.50 approx. Booking Deluxe would have been cheaper.) It was still hot. The rooftop restaurant has plastic seats and wobbly tables and a limited menu. Breakfast is chaotic, in a room baking in the sun, again unbearably airless and hot, butter sitting in the sunshine to melt before you get to it. They lay on a walking tour of the Blue City lanes which is very nice, but at 300 Rupees/person, very expensive. Overall, our opinion is that this hotel is trying to make as much money out of their customers as they can before people boycott them for providing very little for their comfort. Cannot recommend it.
My room was a bit depressing and dark but it is due to the setting of all the rooms, facing a central courtyard meaning that all doors and windows have to remain closed for your privacy. The A/C is completely outdated, very noist and inefficient keeping the room warm. My bathroom was also a bit run down and very basic. The hotel is a beautiful complex though but it sincerely need much love to make it an incredible venue.
very big rest room”
We booked for 1 big room (for 3 people) and really amazing when see the toilet size very big (same as bed room) with the big bath tub.. Facilities very complete.. really happy stay here for 2 nights. beside that at night from the roof top also can see beautiful of Mehrangarh Fort
Smiling staff, Location, Great view from the rooftop restaurant”
We stayed here for one night. The view form the rooftop restaurant is one of the best as I dined at different restaurant within Jodhpur. Food was fine & reasonably priced. Rooms are old Haveli style, staff is always smiling & willing to help. Great location Clock tower, Stepwell Cafe are 3-4 mins walk from this property.
Great haveli Wow New experience ”
Allocated spacious family room. Food takes time but excellent. Superb property for a haveli experience. Beautiful view of fort. At the Center of busy market area, preferable if you want to do local shopping. Unbelievable low price for art craft items. Car can come only near clock tower. Upto haveli you will get autos and you can take help from reception. They can also arrange vehicle for sightseeing, which you can trust for its quoted cost. Overall had a great experience staying in this property.
Amazing views huge rooms”
Had a great stay ate in their restaurant both nights sensational food and so cheap. Pool average needed a clean no where to sit and relax but a couple of dirty lounges . Rooms big had to dance around shower to get wet very low water pressure. Good hotel though great position and they can organise a tuk for the day 500 rupees was well worth it saw some amazing sights.
A great place to enjoy Jodhpur!”
we really enjoyed staying in this heritage hotel: nice room, friendly hospitality, perfect position to get by walking to the Fort and to the Clock Tower, "safe" with respect to monsoon floading... we stringly recommend it!
Hotel with good view”
Location of the hotel was good.within reach of all the attraction area.our rooms were very comfortable.service at the restaurant was fast but could add in more variety to the breakfast...In our 2 days stay he had similar breakfast for both the days.it needs a lot of improvement in that area
A Nice Hotel to Stay In ”
Enjoyed every bit of my stay here. The hotel is a Haveli (cottage) with quaint stairways and rooms at various levels. If you are looking at experiencing traditional stay in Jodhpur, then this is a perfect place. Traditional Havelis do mean that the furniture and paint is dated, yet the staff do manage to keep the place spotlessly clean. You can expect awesome views of the fort at night from the rooftop restaurant. For historical adventure buffs, the location is ideal as the fort is a short walk away. Also in close proximity is the old bazaar and the clock tower. Would recommend this place any time for a short holiday.
It can be better ”
Other than it is near to attractions, the food was good and the service staff were attentive, the ambient of the place gives you a rustic feeling. However, there are areas which need to be improved. Such as ensuring there is no blood stains on the towels, the air con is working and also the easy flow of the water. The stay in the room has been unpleasant albeit I was given a room on the rooftop and get to enjoy some views.
The location was fantastic and the view of the fort from the hotel was great. Our room was amazing, I can't remember what type I booked online, but when we got there we were pleasantly surprised to be taken to a huge nicely decorated suite with a large living and dining area, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with the biggest tub I've ever seen. The staff were really nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
