If you are going through or staying in Kalibo it's a great place to stay. Central location and off the main road so it's quiet.

Everything is accessible from the hotel but we prefer to have been booked to the new wing because the main building is a bit old. So, just a little advice when making reservations - demand for the newer, annex rooms.

Great hotel”

Excellent stay for a night. Right near the airport so could wake up, relax and be ready for my flight without having to leave Boracay in the early hours of the morning. I'm so happy to have stayed here for the night.

Transit point”

The hotel looks bleak from the approach but once inside the entrance it is pleasant. The rooms are modern and they provide a comfortable stop on the way into or out of Boracay. The Ceres bus depot is next door but there is no noise issue. This is an ideal transit hotel and provides a good standard of accommodation.

Nice for sleep over or just overnight stay”

We boked the place because of thier free parking which appears to be very safe as it is found inside thier compound. adjacent to it was the land bank of the philippines where if you need cash during wee hours there are available atm’s machine.

Reasonable price hotel and the location is perfect. A few minutes away from Aklan International Airport and there are lots of establishments nearby such as McDonald's and van terminal going to Roxas City or Iloilo. Though the room I checked in was not that clean as there are still dusts in the table and bedside table plus the CR was not properly cleaned, though I am thinking that the staff was in a hurry because I am about to check in. Overall, this is a good place to stay when you're in Kalibo.

Stayed at the old building. Basic facilities. Big room for the price that we paid for. Manong Guard (nightshift) was very helpful and friendly... Actually all of the night shift personnel are very friendly.

awesome place for a cheaper rate”

Overall it was amazing! Our room was small but is very clean specially the restroom. Its very near to most restaurants in the city. They have friendly staff who provides immediate assistance all the time. The only thing that we were not too happy about is the bed. They have overused matresses. But it was still great. We will surely come back here if we visit Kalibo again.

Good transit stay”

We stayed here just for the night before we headed to Caticlan the following morning so we did not have much time to explore the place. We chose the place because it was beside the Ceres Bus Terminal but unfortunately the terminal has been moved to a new location, about 20 minutes from the hotel. The hotel is accessible, it is along the national road but we did not see any restaurants or fast food chain nearby. You need to get a short trike ride to reach one. The hotel facilities are pretty basic. I recommend this hotel for those looking for a place to stay for the night especially for those arriving from late night flights in Kalibo and need to head to Caticlan the following morning.

we booked 2 rooms each room is good for 3 persons but our room has 2 single beds only unlike the other room that has 1 double bed and a single bed. inconsistent. not even helpful with our bags we have to carry it going up 'coz they dont have an elevator

Good enough”

This hotel is ok for an overnight or a couple of days of stay. My only issue is that the blanket is too thin. There is hot water, towel and soap. Their breakfast is good although not included in the booking.

Spacious rooms - great value for money!”

We booked the deluxe double room. It was very spacious with enough closet space and large shower area. The location is only a few steps away from an ATM (Landbank) and drugstore/mini-mart. The staff is very friendly, they allowed us to check in early as soon as the rooms were available. Our TV was not working at first but they were very quick to fix it.

Stayed in most Kalibo lodgings ”

I have stayed all over Aklan; all over the Philippines, in fact. As well, I have lodged in almost every lodging facility in Kalibo itself. This is, by far, the best place to stay for your money. The staff catered to my every request with quickness and friendliness. I was treated more like a house guest than a customer. They even hand delivered medication from a local pharmacy to my door when I was too much in pain to retrieve it, NO CHARGE!!! The WiFi is very fast and constant. The A/C was perfect and the showers are hot. (or cold... Your choice!) Also, not many hotels in Kalibo can provide you with free ice upon request and the only other I have found charges money for each tiny amount. Aklan is victim to frequent power outages, however, La Esperanza has a generator system so quick you really don't even have time to notice. They are located extremely close to Kalibo International Airport and because of the close proximity to Kalibo's "Banga Crossing" you can find a ride quickly and easily ANY TIME day or night! Again, I must comment on the staff: they are so friendly, warm and welcoming that I almost felt as if I were coming home. Thank you, La Esperanza! You brought me much peace and comfort especially in a very difficult time I was having! Special thank you to Security Guard Bern, employee Gary and the owner!

nice safe place in the middle of busy city”

there were lots of ant, our room was sprayed with ants killer and it was suffocating!! we cant go inside till the room was. aired out .the food was good. staffs were friendly and helpful, the staff at the desk arranged our transportation to Boracay , .we got picked up from the hotel.

Nice rooms, staff not very helpful”

The rooms were nice and felt like new. However, the staff went for 2 days without cleaning the room, even after I requested for a room make-up. I stayed for 4 nights and they cleaned the room only once. Other than that, the neighborhood had lots of dining options, and the hotel itself was clean and well kept.
