The room is very clean and 2 bottles of water are provided daily. Wish the sound proofing was better. Could hear road sounds, neighbouring residents quarelling as well as guests lugging their luggage down the stairs before dawn. The place does not have lifts and the stairs are steep and narrow. However, was happy with the location as we had easy access to good food as well as a wet market that sold fruits cheaply.
The hotel is approx 40 mins (on foot) away from the tourist area. Great area to stay if you want to feel the daily life of the Vietnanmese or fed up with tourist. Lots of eateries around if you can live without air-con and willing to sample local food. The staffs are very nice and extremely helpful. We moved to the luxurious Majestic two days later but missed the LeBlanc very much !
No elevator for a 4 floors hotel”
There was no elevator. We were assgined in 3rd floor but the second floor reads as 001. So technically, on the 4th floor. The stairs are stiff and narrow. We had difficulty climbing the stairs since we have our luggage full. Staff allowed us to leave our luggage in their restaurant while we spent half day touring the city - thank you for that.
Clean and cozy hotel!”
The hotel is simple, clean and cozy. It located at District 3 and it is located near to most of the Saigon attractions, especially those located at District 3 and 1. Staff are friendly and their breakfast was very nice! If you don't really use hotel facilities during your Saigon stay, Le Blanc Hotel is indeed a good choice! You will definitely learn how the local lifestyle is if you stay here :)
Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful - even took us to a nearby store to help buy credit for our SIM card!
Great hotel with great staff”
This was our first stay in Vietnam, all staff is so freindly and helpful, they speak really good english. Breakfast was amazing. The area si great, not touristy, therfore you can feel the local vibe. Loved it!
I noticed few of the comments saying you get what u pay for! But in my opinion other then the location it was an awesome place to stay! Breakfast was awesome you get a choice of western stylenor vietnamese style. Do notnneed to think what to eat. I will definately come back. Thanks
The best experience in Saigon”
LeBlanc Saigon was one of the best decisions during the whole trip. It’s located on a quiet street yet not far away from the attractions (churches, city hall, Pham Ngu Lao, etc). You can enjoy living as a local instead of a visitor. Most importantly, all the staff are extremely well trained and helpful( speak really good English and explain everything patiently). Please remember to order their Vietnamese breakfast. It has been a real treat! Will definitely stay here again :)
Friendly & Comfortable HomeStay”
The owners are very friendly. Located in the central of busy city which any foods or facilities can be easily obtained nearby, besides, the environment of hotel is unexpectedly quite, away from the horns of the car and motorbikes. Highly recommended with wonderful services: FOC Laundry, Smart TV, Breakfast.
Good value for money”
This is a nice hotel and while little away from the action for young people it is perfect for those who want a budget hotel within walking distance of many of the main attractions. Very friendly and obliging staff.
Excellent apart from the rock hard beds”
We had a double room with an extra bed for our young boy, no hassles at all. Staff were friendly, breakfast was great, location was spot on. Only problem were the rock hard beds, too uncomfortable to stay more than a couple of nights.
Really impressed and happy to stay here. Best 3 things above just the best of all, they have many good things also. We'll back to Ho Chi Minh city again next time, and for sure we'll stay here again. Absolutely..
Smart hotel with friendly, helpful staff”
I arrived in the early hours and had to ring the bell for service. The hotel is accessed up a small alley. The hotel room was very pleasant and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was Ok but not great.
I arrived late due to a flight delay. The staff brought me to another room which had a bad smell when I stepped in. At that time I was really tired so it didn’t occur to me to request for a change in room. The smell originated from the toilet. The blanket wasn’t clean - there were black specks all over when I flipped it over. I didn’t sleep well due to the noise (not sure if it’s from the frequent use of the tap or flush from other rooms or the air-con). The next morning I informed the staff and asked for a change in room but my request was not acceded to. However they said they will fix the issues. When I returned that evening, I found the room to have an air freshener smell, but the blanket was still the same (not sure if it was changed or replaced). Anyway, I do wonder if the rooms in the lower floors are better. Otherwise the hotel looks new but facilities, cleanliness and drainage will need some further improvement. Service was slightly above average because of the prompt response
No lift, ants in bed, breakfast loudsy, tv dis not work for 1 night
Good location, friendly, clealiness
Accommodating warm staff, clean rooms, good value”
If you don't want to be in the tourist area, this is a perfect location. 15 minute walk (or short taxi ride) to Ben Thanh or the major sites like the War Remnants Museum, and all the shopping-till-you-drop malls just beyond. It is maybe 30 meters down a safe alley. 100 meters from a local covered market village. Breakfast was fine, eggs and toast; or Vietnamese food - they really want to see you happy. No elevators, wasn't a problem and I'm 64.
The hotel is out of the way down a back street. Don’t be discouraged by this. The staff are warm, friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is very clean and the included breakfast was good. We felt very safe in the area. We walked for hours every day, not for the faint of heart in Saigon. You just have to walk out slowly into the traffic and they go around you, don’t stop, change direction or speed.
It is located in the residential area of the local people. But it takes about thirty minutes by walk to Ben Thanh Market and twenty minutes to the bar streets. It is good for those who searching for good sleep.
Good stay in neighbourhood hotel”
I can recommend LeBlanc hotel Saigon. Rooms were clean, comfortable and staff is friendly. Had the Vietnamese breakfast which was delicious every day. Only downsides are that the shower is not separated so toilet and sink area is wet after using and the internet connection is slow and not stable.
