Great location beach front”
Fantastic location walking distance to muri restaurants and cafes. Also faces one of the smaller islands so calm seas everyday regardless of weather.

Good stay”
Had a nice stay here. Right on Muri beach with easy beach access. Beautiful views on the balcony of the beach and garden nature. The pool is right next to the beach and is good for a swim any time of day. They provide chairs along the beach front as well as snorkel gear and kayaks. The rooms where decent sized with kitchen, lounge, nice bedroom and nice bathroom. They provide an air conditioner for the bedroom which was very handy as it was quite hot. The lady who owns the place is very nice and helpful with anything. She let us keep our belongings in her office until the check in time which was very helpful for us. I would probably bring air plugs because the roosters that live around do make a bit of noise in the mornings but that issue isn’t to do with manea on muri as we stayed at many other locations with noisy roosters too. Roosters are all over the island and can’t be avoided. I would stay here again.

Brilliant ”
Stayed here for 3 nights and loved it, the pool is perfect and looks straight over the lagoon. Free kayaks and snorting gear to use too. Would stay again!

Basic accommodation in great location”
The accommodation is basic but had everything we were after. We had a large bed with air conditioning and a safe in the bedroom, a combined bathroom/toilet with windows, the shower pressure was good and had hot water. The kitchen had a fridge, microwave, sink, cupboards and an electric frypan. There is a tv with one channel but bring a USB with tv shows. We were in Villa 2 which is the closest to the pool but the only one with a true lagoon view. The deck was nice and there is a BBQ. You cannot drink the tap water but there are full bottles of filtered water for you to fill up your bottles. It is not completely self catering as the only cooking options are the BBQ, microwave and electric frypan but good for breakfasts & lunches. There were some ants in the kitchen so try to keep food in containers. The staff are fantastic and so friendly. Waking distance to Night markets/cafes/restaurants/corner stores/rental cars. Also a blue sky hotspot for wifi. Very happy with our stay here.

Muri beach at your door step ”
Fabulous unit! Fern is so lovely! So helpful and made our stay so pleasent. She went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. We were so close to Muri lagoon beach! Accomadate for snorkelling gear, which is a bonus! Highly recommend.

Great location - right on the beach and lagoon. Access to kayaks was perfect for exploring and snorkeling a little further away. Close to Muri Night Market and other great eating places. Friendly, helpful staff - much more personal than a resort - many thanks .

Location is the key, Villas Tired”
My opinion on Manea. The photos are not reflective of the end product, the best thing about the place is the location, $240 bucks we paid per night, raro is expensive, accommodation is expensive, still too much for this place, self catering, an electric frying pan and microwave is not self catering... lagoon view, villa 1 yes, villa 2 (ours) yes but Over a fence with neighbors house in way, glad I didn’t get 3 or 4! Surrounded by other holiday accommodation/houses, can be noisy with party’s going, kayaks good, snorkeling gear tired, When we arrived it was interesting, fern the manager was overseas, got checked in by the housekeeper, no idea when the villa was cleaned or what happened with the rubbish, 1st night cold in bed and no blankets in the villa, had to ask the next day, got given some no problem but why not have them in the villa? I won’t mention the rubber base sheet, Location is the key, easy walking, markets, beach but villas are tired.

Good location but disappointing units ”
Unit is not as shown on the photos. Its dated snd views to lagoon are restricted. Excellent location snd staff were wonderful but unit was disappointing snorkeling gear was unusable but kayaks were great.

Muri beach ! ”
We enjoyed staying here while visiting raro! Loved having access to snorkel gear and kayaks to take out! Beautiful lagoon to explore just a few feet from our garden villa. Thanks to the staff for helping with accommodating us when we arrived early! Fern was super nice !

Great place to stay!”
Would highly recommend, Has a classic holiday crib feel with a really good location and plenty to do with the lagoon just out the front and kayaks/snorkel gear available at no cost. Also very kind and hospitable for allowing us to check in earlier than usual since we had an early flight into Rarotonga, greatly appreciated.

Great little self contained villas right on Muri beach. So peaceful and perfect for a relaxing holiday. Staff are super friendly, very accommodating and helpful, Fern especially! Walking distance from the Muri night markets and local shops and car/scooter rentals. Had a great 6 nights, thank you!

Good relaxing holiday the units are Very basic and not really self contained, No stove or oven .Cupboard space for groceries etc non existent.FANTASTIC manager could not be more helpful.MURI beach area is very central but out of town and easy to get around the island you don't need a car or bike bus service is very good.

Great Villa with Beach View, has everything in the kitchen you could wish for. Nice and clean rooms, Aircon in the Bedroom and Fan in the livingroom. Close to the Muri Nightmarket.

We had a wonderful stay, even the weather wasn’t that great. Fern was a wonderful host and the cottage was perfect. We would stay again if in Raro.

A little tired and could do with some TLC. A few easy additions would make a big difference.”
Pros: Location and staff are excellent and Fern v flexible. Laundry facility is offered on an honesty box basis and snorkelling gear/sea shoes available foc. Canoes available for free use but paddles need attention and enough for each canoe. Excellent electric saucepan in lieu of a hob. Cons: Only one apartment has an 'Ocean (Lagoon) View' which we paid for. The others have glimpses of the Lagoon at acute angles to the terracing. Owners must advertise honestly to avoid disappointment and poor reviews if people have paid for something they expect to enjoy. Apartments all need some BASIC attention e.g. 2 bedside lamps as people read in bed at night. All bulbs should be checked on changeover as many did not work. BBQ's are in a poor state with a lot of the burners not working or ignition faulty. Forget the TV...1 news channel, awful picture, aerial wires all over the place trying to augment an antiquated indoor aerial. Furnishings OK but a little spartan. Needs investment.
