Good - Vietnamese customer”
Good cleanliness, nice staffs, not very active in answering agoda message but I had no problem in this term. The hotel is near a typically Vietnamese market, you can buy things and enjoy breakfast there. However, since this is not a tourist attraction, foreigners might have difficulty in communication.
Fantastic room but noisy at times”
This is one of the best rooms I've stayed on for the price. Clean, modern and very chill. I stayed on the 1st floor which is directly over the lobby area which became noisy at times, The people downstairs would turn the TV on and it would echo too easily. I asked once for them to make it quieter, about an hour later they did the same, morning the same happened. Not sure about the upper floors but the 2nd floor hears everything.
Clean, comfortable, excellent friendly staff. I was only here one night transitioning between Cambodia and Nha Trang, but would stay here again if I was going to stay in HCMC for longer. The owner was super friendly and helpful, the facilities were clean and comfortable with hot water! Excellent value for your money.
Value for money”
good location for seafood and local scene. However, due to poor in English communication, could result in misunderstanding. Check out at 11am. Will charge for late check out.
Perfect little boutique hotel”
Finally found the ideal hotel in Saigon. Usually there's some glaring deficiency like loud street noise or dingy rooms -- not so here. Perfectly located to explore any direction in the city, uber comfortable, not too difficult to find. I was only supposed to stay a few days before looking into other hotels, but I ended up just extending at Minh Chau for 2 weeks instead. Look no further.
Tim, the owner speaks excellent English and he was the star attraction to me. Helpful and absolutely great, I think you would be hard pressed to find a similar person who is always helpful. ”
Economical, I would still say it is value for money. The location is excellent and I would recommend that if especially you require assistance in everything you have to accomplish in Ho Chi MInh City, you would be happy with Timmy.
Good place for a real feel of Saigon”
If you wanna stay at party backpack central, this is not the place. If you are like me and like to real feel of a place and the people, this is a great place to stay. Food everywhere, street food, restaurants all around, real people, NO Starbucks or McDonald's looking at you, but an authentic sample of the city. The owner is nice and really helpful, spending time with us to make sure we got to our next destination at the beach without getting ripped off. If I come back, this is where I'd like to stay.
Petite France ! ”
A big tree over the big window of the clean room with refined furniturs.Wi-fi was usable. Problems - 1.tiny space in the refrigerator - no restaurant in the hotel, though. 2.Owner family does not understand English well. 3. Cooler was noisy.
Virs vidējā līmeņa”
The location is good, not far from the city center. Facilities are okay but WiFi doesn’t work well. The staff doesn’t speak English at all and they tried to charge me more
Located just near the fort in city(perfect location),the hotel is clean and provides u great hospitality. The hotel owner is very helpful and will guide u throughout your stay. The staffs were very helpful. The hotel provides u almost every facilities from good rooms to the tour to cu chi tunnels and city tour. Overall experience was awesome. I'll definitely recommend this place
Nice Short Stay ”
This place was great for a short stay. We stayed in the room on the 4th floor while apartment hunting. There's not an elevator at this hotel so be prepared to climb with all your luggage. I strongly recommend arriving either in day time because it's not extremely difficult to find, but the hotel sign is rather small and it can a tiny bit hard to find. There's tons of delicious, cheap local food nearby as well as a couple western fast food spots if that's your thing. The owner speaks English, but the girl who man's the desk at night does not. He's very helpful and really nice.Overall, a great place for 3-4 nights while you get set up in Saigon.
Love it. Great local restaurant- straight out the front gate for 20 meters, turn right down the alley, walk 15 meters, first place on your right. Fantastic noodles and egg for breakfast. Seriously, awesome.
Great location to see local life style. ”
It is fun to wander the neighborhood. Small alleys and side streets. A local market is within a short walk and it is fun experiencing the sights and smells. Ask the owner to point out his favorite neighborhood restaurant. A really good experience and I would stay here again.
Non responsive staff”
staff barely spoke on our arrival, after that, nothing! even speaking to them in Vietnamese hello and thank you. no acknowledgement or smile. booked a city view room and got the wall of a big building in our sight, rubbish! air con noisy and temperature selected wasn't accurate. we had it on 16 degrees but felt more like 23. location good for district 3 but I wouldn't recommend staying here. if you're a "westerner" and like a more party vibe stay in district 1.
Due to fly back at night. The owner let us check in earlier and have cheaper room which is fine for us. The location is a little bit hard to find. But Grab is a good tool for us to go everywhere. That 's not a big problem. I didn't find a hair dryer. 因为坐当天夜里的飞机，老板让我们早点入住了一个便宜的房间，不过我们也不是很介意，酒店位置有点不好找，但是有了Grab对我们来说去哪里都方便很多，所以对我们不是大问题，但是我没找到吹风机。
Nice place, cool owner ”
Decent place, clean, tidy, good wifi. Is in a more local spot with hardly any tourists around so understand most places wont speak or have english menus but thats all the more exciting. The owner was a good guy and very helpful!! would visit again :)
Poor Internet ”
I have continual problems with the Internet. When I talk to the Vietnamese girl downstairs she just smiles and laughs, and tells me her Internet is quite good at the service counter and that I'm the only customer who is complaining. Very very poor customer service if you ask me. They need to respond better than this.
Basic hotel for exploring, good value for money ”
Double room for 2 nights for around nz$50 total. The staff were very accommodating for our late arrival where we just wanted to get to bed. Room was clean and basic - we only needed it to sleep in so fine with us. This isn't a place for a luxurious visit though so look elsewhere if your are looking for something more than 1 star. We only had a bottom sheet and a quilted blanket on the bed so we had to ask for a sheet to sleep under (28 deg C and humid) - that was fine though and the staff helped with no problem. Its a potential that they expect ppl to have their own thin sleeping bag or something when staying (?) so just an FYI. Bathroom was basic, had clean bath towels and was largely clean. The lobby has been recently renovated but this hadn't been extended to the room we slept in. Room was quiet (left stair case) and the owner on reception during the day was very helpful and approachable. Location is out of town but a quirky real vietnamese location with coffee and local food nearby
Would stay again”
Staff really helped us out while we were here, giving us a lift to some local places to pick up essentials. The hotel is tucked away and a little difficult to find first time but the location is good for most things. Taxi in to centre is only a few dollars and ten minutes. Good value.
Spacious, neat and comfortable stay in a nice part of hcmc”
Owner helped us out with checking on our motorbikes. Took time to take us to a repairshop. Easy going guy and really friendly. Always in for a chat. The room was neat, modern and comfortable. No complaints during our stay. Would recommend this to any traveller Who would like to see some other part of hcmc.
