Beach isn’t the cleanest so it’s great to have such a large pool. We stayed when it’s wasn’t busy so pretty much had the pool to ourselves. Good wifi and great central location. Upgraded on arrival to A/C however this broke the next day and was provided with a fan.
Super nice place and very frienly staff”
It is very well located, just 100meters away from the beach and in front of very nice restaurants. The owner can send you to good places to eat fresh fish The only withdraws are that there are some live music pubs that can result noisy...
Although you are not totally blocked from the noisy street it is a very nice place to stay. Friendly staff. The large pool is a good refreshment. Close to the beach and next to the bars and restaurants.
Good and Nice Hotel. Near of Shop and Bar
great value for money, although some downsides”
Overall a good place to stay for the cost in our opinion. it was quite cheap, breakfast was ok, staff very helpful, warm water (sometimes), ac worked well. Great location and very beautiful garden. Now negatives: bedsheets smelled very funny (in a bad way), the place closes up at 10 pm so when we arrived at 11 pm it was very hard to find a way in and the lightning in our room was insufficient.
Nice stay, would come again, friendly staff”
We booked the wrong day but the hotel staff accommodated our mistake on arrival. We had a nice stay. The pool and garden area was lovely. We walked to some restaurants for some yummy food (fresh locally caught tuna). The next morning we did the dolphin boat ride + snorkel which was fun. We would definitely stay here again.
Very Nice swimming pool”
For lovina activities just staying one night in this hotel is good for money saving. The room is standard and clean. And the swimming pool is the best thing in this hotel. It is clean and clear. And such a enjoyable moment with my dear inside the pool.
Nice and romantic room”
We reach the hotel at 7pm evening, since of overtime but the staff still receive us ( after 1030pm guest will be not entertain). WiFi available, coffee maker with packs of sugar, water heater was not so hot. Breakfast can be choose to fit our appetite. dining hall is good for some view. Very near to the sea side just 5 minutes walk. There are lots of bar outside that open till midnight. Total impression for the stay was good.
Not bad for staying”
We stayed for 1 night , when we arrived a staff came and helped us for our bags and suitcase, the location is near the beach, just walk for 1 - 2 minutes. many restaurants and cafes near hotel so it will be easy to find food. the room clean but the hotel is old, we have to lock the door when we leave the room. the breakfast it not fresh i think cause its cold when it was serve but its nice overall.
lovely hotel in Lovina”
Good location but really noisy on weekends. Literally couldn´t sleep the whole night because the music from the local bar was so loud. The good thing is that they upgraded our room without asking and it was really nice of them.
Beautiful surrounding hotel, close to the beach”
The outside and surrouding of the hotel is beautiful, but the inside room is quite old. The shower is not powerful. The toilet doesn't flush well. The internet connection stops at night. There is only one channel to watch from tv. (depends on what channel the owner is wathching) There is a nice swimming pool though. The good point is that it's close to the Lavina beach. (just 2 mins walk).
Great value for money”
This hotel was really lovely, and close to restaurants and bars. Nice breakfast (toast, eggs and fruit w/coffee & tea), nice room with A/C and WiFi worked fine. It was a bit noisy in the evening, because of live music from the bars but we fell asleep either way. The beach in "Lovina Beach" is really bad, so therefore it was very convenient with the pool since it gets very hot in the daytime. Nice and helpful staff. Alltogehter a great stay!
Nice hotel and great service”
The hotel lies very central in Lovina beach, and because of the sorundings it might be a bit noisy at night. Otherwice everything was perfect. The staff are very friendly and the service is great. The swiming pool is very nice and clean and most of the time available as not many people use it. The gardens are lovely, and small birds comes out in masses during the day to share the pool with you. A lovely place perfect for singles, coupples and people with young children.
Lovely place, with a nice swimming pool”
I spend two nights in this hotel and when I was there it looked like I was the only guest. I booked a standard fan room, but because they were under maintenance I was put in an room with aircon. I had booked a tour with a driver but the manager forgot that it was a ceremony day and couldn+t find a driver for me, so he drove me around himself.
A bit old hotel, but still nice. The atmosphere of this hotel is realy nice. The room is clean, and the water is not salty eventhough the hotel is near the ocean. They offer the dolphin tour for a cheap price, so no need to search other operator. The breakfast is continental, but still great. The only minus is that in the night a bit noisy from the cafe near the hotel. But we still can sleep comfortly overall
Very nice hotel”
Very nice hotel. Great location, just 5 mins from the beach. The pool is very nice. Only problem is that it gets quite noisy in the evening due to the location near the bars that play live music. The breakfast is not bad but nothing special. The room was clean and pretty spacious. Overall a very good hotel for the price. I would recommend it.
This hotel has a great location in Lovina (coastal town in the northern part of Bali, well known for its dolphins). It is only about five minutes from the beach. There's a beautiful pool in a very nice garden. It's nice to have a swim after a day on the beach. The room was nice and clean. It can get a bit noisy in the evening due to the bars playing live music near the hotel. But overall a very nice hotel.
The guesthouse is less than five minutes' walk from the beach, so the location is great. The pool area is good for lounging. Staff are quite good. If you're a very light sleeper, it might be best to bring earplugs as there are a few bars with live music nearby.
We really enjoyed our stay. Booked the basic room, but on arrival they upgraded us to the nicer one which we appreciated. Rooms were clean, big and comfortable. The wifi worked on and off. The pool was big, clean and really beautiful. The beach was about 2 minutes down the street and there was a handful of restaurants/bars on the same street. The staff was very friendly and willing to help with whatever we needed. We'd stay again.
Lying owner, Ghost town”
What a strange hotel and town. Lovina has not recovered in 13 years after the first Kuta bombing. Restaurants and shops are empty, many run down and others closed. Live bands play in bars to NOBODY, and you will hear 5 of them blaring in this abandoned central area of Lovina. The beach is empty, boats don't move, trash lines the coast, and touts try harder than ever. At the hotel fountains are broken and not working and the pool bar is closed and covered in boxes. The buildings are exquisite with wood carving and gardens bloom lotus flowers. One can see yesterday’s beauty. The hotel owner lied to us about the price of the shuttle to Ubud and hid the price sheet when we asked to see it. We bought tickets elsewhere, though the lady tried to upsell us a taxi by lying that the shuttle would take 2x as long as it did. The price of the hotel was marked up on Agoda. It's offered at the hotel for $20/night or 225,000r with breakfast and taxes included. You don't need to reserve ahead as we were one of a few guests or the only ones there during our 3 days in high season. Like our entire trip, we felt constantly scammed, lied to, creeped out, unsafe to varying degrees, and heartbroken by the environmental and cultural degradation. Think twice before coming here, unless it is to help this destroyed paradise. The hotel itself is fine enough but stay on your guard and realize you will be constantly watched and lied to. The pool is beautiful but we felt nervous to swim with the dishonesty; we weren't sure it would be sanitized. And, like everywhere in Bali/Lombok/Gilis, there was a constant cough by locals and visitors people call the 100-day cough (pertussis?). One of our two travelers has it. With the island's grey water running to the rivers and oceans, along with most of the trash, and a prediction of no more freshwater by 2020, the island is in a state of crisis that is rapidly growing. While there is still beauty, Bali broke our hearts and we would never go back.
