Never walk in to Novotel Beijing Sanyuan Hotel because of bad service of a staff named Ms Zhao Lily”

The front desk staff named Ms Zhao Lily is handling my check-in. She is arrogant, she is not professional, she always said cannot find my name in the booking, she never say sorry while she make mistakes, she even said booking for one person but actually the confirmation slip shown it is "2 persons". A bad experience while you walked in to this nice hotel but felt very angry because of bad service.

Near Train station”

Literally 2 seconds walk from hotel to Sanyuanqiao train station. You can catch airport express to hotel cost 25Yen. I was a bit nervous booking this hotel due to the fact of bad reviews from previous guests. In my opinion demanding and unreasonable guests I can say they deserve bad service. I booked premier executive room, on checking was upgraded to executive suit! Sweet as! Massive room and very clean too. Was on level 20. Nothing around but because of train station 2secs from the hotel, make this hotel a valuable place to stay while in Beijing. If you prefer taxi from airport to hotel will cost approx. 100yen. Breakfast are Asian food, those complaining about breakfast what this hotel hotel has to offer need to take a chill pills. they are in an Asian country, expect Asian breakfast!! I say Seriously why complain about Asian food in an Asian country. Good varieties, good selection of breakfast. Not all staff speak English but main thing they are friendly and will do their best to help so don’t be rude to them if you decide to stay at this hotel. Executive lounge not the best setup for a Novotel brand. I have use executive lounge in Philippines, Vietnam and other countries, their executive lounge are amazing! Executive lounge in Beijing in my opinion not a very relaxing environment. They need to move up to high floor. Having it on the ground floor it’s a very bad decision. I was having breakfast and take one banana out, the restaurant staff will stop you and ask for it back. Fair enough, I reckon they need sign saying to remind guests they not allow take any food out to avoid embarrassing guests. Overall this is a great hotel!

Close to BJ airport route and line 10, centrely located and close to other main shopping malls; friendly staff just they will ignore your double bed request

Perfect location!”

I love everything about this place, especially the location. Right outside the metro station that's a direct line from the airport, and next to an awesome shopping mall with a lot of fantastic dining options. Would certainly stay here again on my next visit to Beijing.

Clean, modern, and conveniently located”

So convenient - only 15 meters from Exit D of the Sanyuanqiao metro stop. Makes for a good overnight stay if connecting at the airport. The reception staff were really personable, and spoke very good English. I really felt welcomed by them. The rooms are very modern, and everything worked well. Toiletries are many environmentally responsible products. Overall, a very nice place that I recommend.

Very nice hotel”

It sits next to the subway station exit, one stop to the airport by subway, which is quite nice for a early flight. The hotel is clean and well equipped and cheap. The TV is a big flop if that's your concern, with poor screen quality and small size screen. Most of the staff are very nice, except for the one who checked me out. He was rude and unprofessional, but I won't ignore other staff's efforts for one bad apple. So I still recommend it to anyone especially those who would hate to miss their flights due to notorious traffic jam in Beijing.

Better than the Ibis”

The location is very convenient both for the airport and taking the metro into central Beijing; the hotel is clean and functional with spacious rooms. The beds are large but not incredibly comfy, and it being winter, the room noticeably cools down during the night even with the heating set to 30 degrees Celsius. Unfortunately the swimming pool and sauna were both closed due to renovation (only the gym was still open). WiFi was weak inside the room (at least on the 8th floor), though there is a LAN connection, too. Whatever its shortcomings, this hotel is a lot better than the Ibis located just behind it which feels more like a hostel.

Friendly staff, clean and spacious room”

It was a pleasant stay. The reception guests officers were very friendly. Breakfast foods spread not so bad. Managed to get a connecting room as I travelled with 3 others (2 rooms). Happy, will revisit. Recommended!

What not to like”

I love everything. Room is very clean. The rate of the room is very affordable. The hotel is just about 20 meter from the subway station (line 10) which makes my access to major attractions in Beijing quite easy. I totally recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great location and friendly service”

a cozy hotel with professional reception and service that make you feel like home. the room are furnished and decorated with a a modern and business environment. the hotel is also conveniently located on right on top of the san yuan station of airport express, with the journey to airport only required around 30 minutes (which is very short in beijing standard).

Good hotel next door to an Airport Express Station”

Food is now good (improved since opening). The nearby Galleria shopping mall has just opened, and has a Costa Coffee in it, so can't complain. Location is great if you need to be in the Chaoyang district, as it is walking distance from the Sanyuan Qiao station (one stop from the Airport). Rooms are adequate. Staff are very friendly, and always welcome you back.

Good hotel very accessible from the airport”

food is good (they've now got the lunch buffets serving a great range of dishes - albeit the same every day). if you just want a snack, there is a costa coffee in the nearby galleria shopping mall. location is great if you need to be in the chaoyang district, as it is walking distance from the sanyuan qiao station (one stop from the airport). rooms are adequate.

Affordable with good service”

i was attending a conference in a hotel nearby novotel. initially we wanted to book in the conference hotel itself but it was a bit pricey, so we opted for novotel. our decision was a good one as we prefer novotel to the conference hotel. novotel offers better service and value for your money compare to the other hotel. in addition, due to its strategic location to get to other places is very easy.

we take it for the first night of the trip as we arrive Beijing late and we want to reserve more time for a rest on the first night

Novotel has good facilities , great rooms, a decent fitness centre and a very good restaurant.. overall good value for money

Was rather shock at 5.30am while I was asleep another guest check into my room. Happened that I did not latchthe door. When I query that incident manager just apologise. That's all. Its very uncalled for especially such a major plunger can happen in a reputable hotel chain. Worst off just a mere word of "sorry". That's the best the hotel manager can offer....lol .... sigh!!!

good location”

like it near some quiet area of Beijing, yet it's not deserted. it's next to a shopping mall where you can find restaurants and daily necessities. the airport express station is right next to the hotel. it is a good alternative when the traffic becomes very bad. wish the hotel can improve the gym facilities in a great deal

Good Hotel handy to Shopping centre and subway”

The Hotel is well situated on a subway (including the airport line subway) and next to a shopping mall which includes a supermarket and restaurants for all price ranges. The Hotel rooms were very nice with all the facilities you expect from a Novotel. My only negative is that the staff were not particularly friendly but they did do their job OK.

Great location, staff and value of money”

The location is great, just right besides mall, subway station and bus stop. What is need to be improved is the cleaning service doesn't really clean your room, they only tidy up the bed room. Your tissue and anything, they just leave it there. The rest are okay, some staff can speak english and very helpful.
