The hotel management didn't anticipate for the amount of people who having b'fast at the hotel. They running out food, spoon, fork, plate. And the respond is slow very bad anticipation. They should be know how many room were occupied at that time, but they seem lack preparation Really bad service :( Shame sahid jaya
Good Location ”
This Hotel have a wonderful Ballroom where we attending our Family wedding, Location is very close with Atma Jaya University, Room is Good, Swimming pool is Good, Breakfast is Really Good with many Variety (Indonesian, Bread and Waffel, Sushi, etc), About Room Cleanliness need to improve. Overall we're satisfy spend one night here.
i stay in this hotel only for 1 day, when i want to check in, there are one big group who stay at this hotel and hotel management did not prepare for the group, therefor i must waiting around 30 minutes just for check in. I am angry to the front office and then they suddenly process my check in, can you imagine if i not angry, i should be still waiting. lobby area so crowded and not convenience for guest. I suggest find the other hotels in yogyakarta, sahid hotel is the worse hotel.

Nice Hotel nearby the Airport”
Located only about 10 minutes from airport. Perfect location for who have plan to go to some vacation spot out of city center such as Merapi, Borobudur, Etc. The room lil bit smaller than I expect Sahid group will be, but clean and has complete amenities that we need. Staff also very helpful. One more thing, located in one building with the mall.
under renovation hotel”
location near the airport, quite far from central city. while i stayed the hotel was under renovation so i got the black dirty pool view there. i thought they didnt provide the hot water but after i called, the technician told me that the HOT water should be to the BLUE dot instead of the RED. it seems they misplaced the shower. food was ok, the staff was not ok!

We had holiday @July 2015 with my big family. Even though there's renovation process, the staff are welcoming and friendly. No swimming pool (maybe due to renovation) Overall the place are Nice and has Jogja Friendly Feel.

Nothing good. Honestly this is the worst hotel I stayed in Asia for the amount I paid. This is not at 4 start hotel. At the best 2 start. Maybe 20 years ago was a luxury hotel but now far from those days. Agoda misleading this one for a long shot.
Nicely affordable hotel”
I stayed there for two nights during my business trip. Thus, most of my times there were at night to take a rest and relax my body. I love the fact that they have friendly and helpful staffs who stayed online for 24 hours. I also like the fact that my room was quite big so that I can relax myself in a spacious room. The bathroom is clean and also in a big size. And most of all, the place is quiet so that people can take a proper rest. Nevertheless, I have several notes for the management. 1. They need to provide exhaust fan for rooms with smoking availability so that people will not open their doors to let the smokes out. Even for non-smoker person, it is nice to able to exchange the room air with a fresh one from the outside. Note that this consideration could be eliminated should they provide windows that can be open in the rooms. 2. They need to put more attention for room windows and sofas as those were not properly cleaned and disturbingly dusty during my stay. 3. The picture quality for TV inside the room was not good at that time. I did not complaint as I merely wish to have a proper rest during my stay. However, it would be nice to have an option to enjoy high quality picture during staying in the hotel. Overall, I enjoy my stay there and I hope my notes in this review would be treated by the management so that future visitors would feel more comfortable to stay there.
At first, we thought we're lucky to get 40% discount from 4 stars hotel, not mention the place located in the ring road, area, and very close to the airport. So we picked this hotel. What happened next is really dissapoint us. The hotel turn out that they are currently build the new tower, in front of the hotel. So at 5.30 in the morning, the construction area is really noisy, we've complained to the room service because of that, they should closed the hotel if they're renovating, since it's really noisy. The room is so old, and dirty, we've sneeze all night long, dust is everywhere. Not mention the bathroom condition. The water outlet can't be adjusted to certain direction, the floor drain is stuck, so the dirty water soak up till my ankle. In the breakfast area, there's some group using microphone to inform about their tour schedule. I feel really dissapoint about that.
Lovely hotel with amazing services”
AmazingService .good food and clean rooms and facilities.room service was awesome and friendly customer services.dint go through much problems.good location easy to find and enjoyed shopping around that area.great housekeeping and they are ready to help.nightlife at that location was amazing. Adequate transport was easily available and fast.all in all was a great trip and amazing one. Had a lot of fun and was happy with the service provided.
Bad wifi & front counter poor customer service”
Arrive to find all 4 front counter staff buzy. Waited behind another customer, told a front counter staff I want to check in, told to wait. Ok no problem, i wait. Finish with the customer in front of me but did not acknowledge me still waiting there. Another customer came and was immediately entertained. What am I? A statue? I told them I was here waiting first and was pushed to another counter staff to check me in. Very poor customer service. In the room wifi unable to connect. Called front office but no one picked up. Called room service and food was normal but a bit pricey. Ask about wifi but still unable to connect. Only Good thing is there is a new mall connecting but still a lot of shops not opened.
Dirty rooms, horrible service”
We changed our rooms to Deluxe Double and Deluxe Twin after our friend who has arrived earlier told us that the Business rooms were dated and dirty. To our surprise, they weren’t any better. Small and the toilet was so cramped. To make things worse there were insects especially many ants. There were dust as well. But the biggest issue we had was after we had our breakfast the first day, my friend who hadn’t had his went to the restaurant and was refused. We went to the reception later and was promised by Erica there would be no issue at all. We specifically asked about the next day and she said yes we could use the coupons. To our shock the next day when we went down to the restaurant, we were refused again. The staff explained that ours are rooms only. So we went to the reception and they said they are indeed correct. So I explained that Erica promised that the breakfast would be available for us. Upon checking, they said she made a mistake. It is not about the money. We could easily afford the breakfast. But how could Erica not check properly before promising us? Also in the first place it was the hotel who gave us the coupons. So the conclusion is if you do not want a dirty room, horrible service standards and unpleasant experience, avoid this hotel. I know for sure my friends and I will never be back. Worst hotel experience ever!
