Samode Haveli - Beautiful Property”
Beautiful Haveli with so much attention to the details. Great Oasis to stay while exploring Jaipur. The staff is amazing, very kind and always willing to help. The rooms are so charming, comfortable and clean. Will definitely come back when its warmer so I can enjoy the pool.
We were four friends from Switzerland and the UK (not an organised group) in Jaipur for three nights for the literature festival. I've stayed at the hotel a few times before, so booked the rooms for all of us. My friends were very pleased indeed with the accommodation, so I was happy that I had suggested it.
Great Hotel wonderful staff.
Beautiful boutique hotel!!
I LOVED EVERYTHING,THANK YOU SO MUCH!
A touch of luxury. ”
My grown up son and I loved our stay at the Samode Haveli. Our only regret was that we were only there for one night. The room was sumptuous with really comfy beds and a lovely bath - such a welcome sight after wandering the dusty streets. Sundowner drinks on the roof top, watching the colourful kites was memorable. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious. We also had a wonderful massage, followed by a steam it was such a welcome respite in the middle of our busy schedule and remains a highlight of our trip.
We stayed in the Sheesh suite, love the decor and architecture... it’s quite dark though... we enjoyed the hotel a lot, it has a very calm energy and we love sitting in the terrace!
Was on a trip to Jaipur with my mum, aunt and cousin. We were stunned by the beauty of the property. The grounds were stunning, rooms were so clean and well appointed. The staff were friendly and I have to mention Gauri. From the moment we arrived till we left she just took hospitality to another level. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. All in all I would definitely be back there again.
Disappointing service ”
It was a beautiful hotel.. my room was stunning but the service here was disappointingly inefficient.. every request I made was ignored or forgotten and at this level this is not acceptable.
After a long flight we were given a lovely welcome .The hotel is a little piece of heaven.A quick check in ,welcome drink and shown to our lovely room with own balcony .All the staff are friendly, pool area is bliss.Resturant serves amazing food and drinksWe used the spa which was very professional.Overall an excellent and highly recommended hotel.
Nice place for relaxing ”
Nice place for relaxing on a short weekend trip...with family ...good cleanliness...and good pool...we asked for maggi Masala for my son...and they followed all our instructions and made it perfect...Thanks to agoda for giving a good deal...
Great heritage place with awesome decor. Nice and friendly staff. We can only recommend this place for a stay in Jaipur. ————————————————————-
one of my all time favourites”
great comfortable hotel rich with history and situated in the old city of jaipur so you can soak up the atmosphere, for my money, 100% worth the extra that you will spend for the level of service and the history of the haveli, my first choice in jaipur
Lovely hotel which was an absolute oasis from bustling Jaipur. The pool and restaurant area are just stunning, and the bedrooms are all large. We really loved it.
Beautiful hotel in Jaipur”
One of the best hotels I've stayed at in India - boutique feel with great service. It was the perfect place to relax after sightseeing with friends through the day.
Pure India indulgent Haveli”
Awesome genuine Haveli experience. The common rooms ( library, reception) are awesome as are the grounds great service
Fantastic heritage hotel.”
We booked a suite and had a wonderful large room with a balcony overlooking the gardens. Great place to relax
What an unique experience with Indian flavor. The hotel staff at service desk and restaurant were very nice and helpful. The food was okay, but the curry was quite oily for non-Indian. The spa was ok but I think it could be better. My only advice is do not choose the top floor which was very hot even during the night with 2 air-conditioners on.
Check your invoice”
You should check your invoice to ensure that any prepayments are captured. I had prepaid one night from Agoda and had emailed the hotel and paid for an additional night, but the staff member checking me out presented me twice with invoices which had the prepaid amounts on them. If I had not paid attention to the charges I would have been charged again for these rooms. Agoda prepayments and any other confirmed prepaid transactions should have been entered into their system and the staff member should have ensured that these were verified before presenting the guest with the invoice. The staff member apologized but this carelessness (which I am only assuming by giving the benefit of the doubt) should not be tolerated for a hotel which is charging this kind of rate.
Pretty good but a bit overpriced ”
Stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a longer visiti to Jaipur. We were upgraded on our arrival to a more spacious room, which was lovely, however could probably do with a bit of care. The room felt a bit dated (and some of the electric points/switched were broken) and the aircon units and fans were really noisy We did ask (by email, Twitter and when we arrived) for help with arranging a car to Agra but didn't get any response electronically and in fact we were told by the concierge that the car for the day through the hotel would be expensive and we could arrange one via "a friend" of the concierge. We didn't hear anything back about that either (luckily we found someone else ourselves) The pool and resturant are ok - though there are allots of birds around - one of whom showed his appreciation of my breakfast by crappibg on me - though that is supposed to be lucky! The hotel is next to a mosque. Bring earlplugs if you don't want to be woken at 5 to come to pray!
