Amazing stay we had here. Beautiful rooms and a great heritage”
Me and my wife loved our stay here. But some suggestions I would like to offer- 1. Please try to avail rooms earlier then 12 o’clock. I do understand the checkin time is 12 but I could see guests checking out at 9 o’clock as well and the rooms being vacated. We had to wait for a long time, so requesting you to try alloting room at your convenience 2. In the breakfast buffet please avail some more of non veg food such as salamis or nonveg curries. Also include some rice in the menu
Excellent hotel in a rather shabby location”
We booked 4 suite rooms and each of these rooms were packed with all the necessary facilities. The rooms were big, clean and comfortable. The staffs were friendly and very helpful. But the location of the hotel was a bit far from the main centre of Delhi in a rather shabby location. Be prepared to travel a lot. Breakfast had limited items and could be improved. The restaurant was extremely expensive with extreme spicy (not to my likings) items. Overall an excellent experience except for the location and expensive spicy foods.
The premises actually double as the residence for some members of the Jaipur Royal Family. Everything exceeded our expectations. Staff, room, service, food and so on. Our visit coincided with the annual kite flying holiday. Spent a very nice couple of hours flying kites on the 5th floor balcony with the Prince of Jaipur, and members of staff, whilst enjoying the atmosphere. Literally thousands of kites flying across the skyline. We were very fortunate to have this experience with really lovely people.
Beautiful old palace”
Shahpura house is a beautiful old palace with marble and artwork everywhere. Staff is very good. Fifth floor restaurant was very good and had live Indian music. Didn't try "rooftop" 2nd floor restaurant. Breakfast buffet was good. Location was good, but there was a lot of traffic to get anywhere. Room was comfortable.
Awesome Hotel with very good Hospitality”
Heritage hotel located near Railway station though auto/taxi is needed. It feels like living in a King's Palace. The hotel is clean and provides u great hospitality. Very good breakfast with different variety of food. I'll recommend this hotel to every couple and families:). You wont regret, just be there. :-)
Awesome place with friendly staff”
This was the best experience we have had in a hotel. The tour at the beginning was fun and our room on the ground floor was perfect. The restaurant, the bar the pool table and the atmosphere were great. We wished we had stayed the whole week here.
A welcomed oasis”
To say that arriving in Shahpura was a breath of fresh air is an understatement. It was like landing in heaven. We were met by Paresh who made us feel welcomed and special without being overbearing and condecending. Our room was comfortable clean and tastefully decorated. Comfy bed and well stocked bathroom completed the stay. Even the buffet breakfast was excellent.
This hotel is beautiful from the outside to its interior. The hotel was a mansion with very beautiful decoration. I love it. The breakfast was very nice. The internet work fine here. Staff are excellent. Upon my check out we was overcharged one count of breakfast but i told them the correct it. I think the mistake came from the restaurant. The time we checked out there was only one clerk at the check out counter and it was jammed. Hopefully, they always have 2 persons there to help guests to check out which will make the hotel perfect. Nevertheless, this hotel is fantastic for the price!
To make it short - we have never stayed in such an amazing, beautiful hotel for this price before. In the beginning we thought there was a booking error. The hotel is an old summer house of the king of Shapura. While not spectacular from the outside, you will be blown away once you step inside. This hotel - we are not joking - is more impressive from the inside than the Jaipur city palace. If you don't believe us, compare for yourselves. Everything about this place is great - the rooms: heritage but clean and comfortable. The beds are the most comfy we ever had in ANY hotel. The pool: Small, but sufficient and beautifully lit in the evening. Staff: Super friendly and trustworthy, helped us with our train tickets and warned us against common scams. Food: Didn't try lunch or dinner, but had a lot of choice for breakfast, which all tasted good. Hotel is in a very quiet neighbourhood, so you will get a good sleep here. Highly recommend! One of the top hotels in India.
Great hotel with majestic feel”
It's a lovely palace, converted to a hotel. Being maintained well and very clean. Wifi is good and strong, staffs are very friendly. Especially Prakesh who assisted us during late check out, gave us free drinking water before we departed. Very nice interior design, great atmosphere. Breakfast range is good for India, cannot compare to Indonesia or Malaysia. Overall, it is worth the price.
Very luxurious great service from the staff especially Paresh and Devendra and another two guys who brought us a celebration cake for our anniversary! Very clean hotel nice pool and polite staff. Great value for money.
recommended, very nice interior design, value for money. Toilet is big and nice. However, the room's floor is not clean. Very kind consideration of the hotel for providing 4 bottles of mineral water for a room of two.
Outstanding hotel for the price”
We got a great deal, and were absolutely blown away by this hotel having stayed in a number of others in India for the same price per night. We were upgraded to a suite room which was amazing, the staff were always helpful, and the facilities were great. The food is on the expensive side, but it’s in a good location to eat elsewhere. We loved that it’s on a quiet residential street - welcome break from the noise of India!
Royal Treatment ”
One of the best heritage hotel we stayed in absolutely classic, no words to explain our happiness and royalty we enjoyed here during our stay, kids loved it and parents were really amazed and appreciated every corner of this property as it was maintained so well, we would love to stay this chain of hotels in forth coming days and surely will recommend for friends and family as they’re expanding their hotels around all major tourists places in Rajasthan, blindly go and book your stay at this hotel, you won’t regret it for your life time, thanks to Shahpura house making our stay such pleasant one 🙏
Our best stay in India”
The hotel is very beautiful, the staff is very friendly, the price is reasonable and the location is very good. What else can you expect from a Hotel? By far our best stay in India. I do recommend and would for sure stay at this hotel again if back to Jaipur.
Beautiful Hotel with Great Rooms”
This review is based on the Royal Suite which my wife and I stayed in for 6 nights. The room and hotel facilities were great! All the staff are very attentive and friendly, especially at the bar. This is definitely a recommended hotel which on top of being reasonably priced, has lots of character. The only drawback during our stay was the Wi-Fi which was a bit unreliable. It was fixed after our first two nights and seemed to be more stable then, but hopefully the hotel maintains it in the long term.
Really bad impression with Shahpura House.”
I have booked 2 rooms for Shahpura Suite but been given with Deluxe Rooms, room number 208 and 209. We have imformed reception immediately but have been told that both too s were Shahpura Suite. We have asked several cleaning staffs about the rooms and were told the rooms are Deluxe Room spontaneously. Once we double insist to have our rooms change, we were told that the rooms were Roy Suite and the hotel was full y booked. The 208 and 209 were nothing at all like what we have seen in Agoda, it was totally look alike Deluxe Room. The Shahpura House room type starting with Deluxe, Suite, Royal Suite and Shahpura Suite. This mean we were downgraded 2 steps. If we have booked for Deluxe Rooms, everything would have been sastisfied with what we've got for those 3 nights. Really tricky.
The property is Royal, rich and elegant. The stay was pleasant and peaceful. They have built a royal reception area and a darbar. Highly recommended for those who like clocking pics in traditional eco system
Worth for 💰”
We enjoyed our stay at Shahpura House. It is situtated in the main city and is 3-4 km away from bus stand and railway station. Most of the people which were staying there were Foreigner.. I would rate a place as 5*... Although I would like to share my feedback that there should be more lights in the room , specially near dressing area.. Apart from this everything is awesome and a must place to stay.. Yes, I would definitely like to visit this place again..
Amazing - great hotel and staff”
Beautiful hotel, clean, great facilities, welcoming and friendly staff who even packed a breakfast for our early morning flight. It can be a bit noisy in some rooms due to the set up of the hotel but nevertheless highly recommended hotel!
