Great value and location if you don’t want the crazy Pub Street scene.”
Just half-block off the river with small but very nice rooftop pool offering lovely flowers and great afternoon sunset relaxing! Should consider having the bar staff offer pool-side drink service to those guests relaxing at the pool!
Our experiences with the front desk were exceptional. Sina arranged our Angkor experience seamlessly. Contact with hotel prior to arriving was excellent with almost immediate responses.
Fantastic boutique hotel”
This is a brand new hotel. Staff are just lovely, beautiful roof pool and a breakfast to die for! Definaty worth adfing breakfast to your booking. Super comfy rooms here too! This would be my first choice if travelling to Siem reap again.
Friendliest, Kindest Hotel in Asia”
Can’t fault this place, the staff made it a wonderful experience for me, they are so helpful, speak great English. It’s good value for money as it feels very private also the rooftop pool is amazing. Please note the hotel has moved from previous buidlinh and as I write this review it’s 2 weeks old, taxi from airport and tuk tuks keep bringing us to old residence. We booked trips, flights to Vietnam and more will help from Sohka and Sam the owners. Very friendly hotel expect to see owners kids using the pool it’s a family feeling hotel. Perfect location for Angkor Wat and $1 tuk tuk or short walk to main markets and pub street. Great TV channels also lots of English channels and best shower I have had in SE Asia
Always a pleasure”
Soria Moria is our go to hotel when in Siem Reap. The staff are excellent, the rooms are big and clean and have all the amenities. The buffet breakfast is a great way to start the morning and they have a few great specials in the evening as well. Happy hour sunset on the roof is quite nice after a long day in the heat.
Good hotel, unpleasant experience ”
The hotel is quite good, especially the location is awesome. Area is very quite but super close to pub street. Basically overall the hotel is nice, but few things made my personal experience unpleasant. First of all I booked standard single room. Upon entering the room I realized that room is with twin beds, additionally rooms got terrible smell and furniture was very old and tired. When I ask to change to king bed room, I was told that standard rooms come with only twin beds. So I had to pay additionally for upgrade to Superior room. Difference was only USD5 per night, but anyway not so cool to pay more for your basic preferences. From the good side it is fair to admit, that Superior roon is bigger in size, got no smell and looked much better. So my strong advice to do not consider standard room and book superior. Another unpleasant experience was reception service. Very helpful guy at the front desk briefed me about tour options. So I booked a big tour around Angkor including sunrise, he quoted USD20. First of all Tuk Tuk driver arrived 20 minutes later. So I missed the main part of sunrise at Angkor wat he just said "yeah, you have been so long buying tickets, so many people today", but if the driver was on time, definitely it would save the situation. Then the driver surpised me saying that in fact the tour booked is the small one visiting only 3 temples. But the price is still $20. This kind of rubbish is unacceptable for drivers provided by hotel. Unfortunately that day and the next day I didn't have time and mood to make a fuss about it. But for me it is huge shortfall from the hotel side.
Great place to start my vacation ”
Very pleasant experience. Check in was smooth. The room was large with a great air conditioner. In the morning there was a complimentary breakfast that had everything I needed. Would definitely return.
Nice, Spacious Rooms ”
I enjoyed the big, spacious rooms and the breakfast buffet. They serve breakfast really early (I think, they start at 6:30am), perfect if you'll be spending the rest of the morning exploring Angkor Wat. My only gripe is the swimming pool is really small and the chemicals to treat the water in the pool are really strong. I can't dip my head in the water without hurting my eyes.
Soria Moria is the greatest! ”
It was a great one-night stay in Siem Reap. It's a great location — near to Pub Street and that madness, but not too close. What's great about this place is the staff. They are so accommodating and friendly! The room is beautiful as well. Everything was extremely comfortable. Wifi was a little slow but worked fine. They give you a free cocktail when you arrive. Nice touch! I got the Long Island, which is $6 there. :) The bartenders are so nice. I just loved all the staff. They have bicycles you can use for two dollars to peruse the town. Their fitness room is pretty lame. That was the only downside. The pool is very small, but hey... I just use it for cooling off. Love this place. I'll stay here again. Highly recommend it. :)
Lovely experience with awesome staffs”
It was nice for the welcoming staffs to allow us to checkin 5 hours ahead of checkin time. The rooms are good, big and clean. It is actually walking distance to the famous Pub Street and night markets, but I'd recommend to take Tuk Tuk.
everything i expexted”
Soria Moria was perfect for our needs -- it was reasonably priced, centrally located, safe and secure, and clean. I did not expect luxury -- I expected reliability, and that's exactly what I got. The staff -- especially the front desk and the restaurant staff should be especially mentioned. They were warm and efficient and gave you the feeling that they would go an extra mile for you. I will definitely stay here again.
Excellent service and spacious rooms”
I'm really glad that I chose to stay at this hotel. After initial booking for 3 nights, I will have stayed a total of 8 nights before leaving Siem Reap. The service is excellent, and if you want to book any tours or buses, etc, the hotel front desk staff are more than happy to help you with it. There's a great small pool and lounge area on the ground floor, and a rooftop jacuzzi, which I never had the chance to use. The food at the restaurant was also quite good and there were always specials going on. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling in Siem Reap. It's also not in the noisy pub street touristy core, but only a short 5-7 min walk away so that you can still easily get to it. There's also lots of great restaurants nearby on Wat Bo Road.
Lovely people, lovely hotel, lovely stay ”
Staff are very friendly and accommodating: they even helped us find a guide even though they were extremely hard to find (peak season, Christmas time). Food was great - reasonably/cheaply priced and all very good! Make sure you get the 1$ cocktails & tapas deal on Wednesdays - and get the meatballs! Rooms were clean and quite spacious - all fit with your basic necessities. The rooftop had a great view and I should have used the rooftop hot tub but there was no time with my packed traveling schedules! All in all, highly recommend anyone to stay here.
Best hotel I ever stayed in”
We stayed only one night with my friend in this awesome small boutique hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful, booked bust tickets for us, charged our phones and cameras after we checked out. Food at the restaurant was fantastic and a bonus part is that you can eat and drink IN the jacuzzi! Hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from Pub Street, in a quiet place, which makes it convenient and comfortable. Rooms were cozy and clean.
Great hotel with great value right on the river”
This hotel is a great value for your money. Big clean rooms and great location. Just a short walk to pub street and the markets. Staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel restaurant is a good place to eat. Hotel has Western owners, so staff runs great.
Beautiful hotel, well maintained and clean!”
i was really amazed at the hotel. it is very clean, warm and spacious and good value for money. the staff were very friendly and it is in walking distance the to night market and pubs. the room i stayed in was extremely comfortable and has a bath as well. rooftop bar and jacuzzi is a good feature. the angkor wat is not far away either. this is the perfect hotel and i will indeed stay here again. i would recommend this hotel to all.
very nice and clean hotel”
It is a nice clean hotel. Its location is also very near to old market which is where the action is. Restaurant below also serves decent food. Staff very attentive and polite. Stay there and explore angkor wat.
Good location, friendly staff”
The hotel's location is very quiet, yet only minutes away from the main shopping/bar area. The staff is helpful with anything, also changes money for better than bank's rate (but you can use dollars practically everywhere). Breakfast buffet is great, changes daily. Nice rooftop bar for a sunset drink. Easy to arrange Tuk-Tuk trips with the guys just outside hotel, for a reasonable price (look for Nak, good driver). Rooms are big and clean.
awesome staff that would grant your wish”
the hotel itself is very clean, and the staff is very kind and would grant all the wish you have with great manners. it is obvious they're trained well to fulfill the needs of customers. i'd certainly be happy to visit and stay at this hotel once again.
My friends and I had a satisfying stay”
We booked the family suite for 2 nights. Our stay was very good, we had our own kitchen and dining, as well as balcony. The room and bathroom was clean. My only comment is that the bathroom has no separation from the toilet, which i think is a must in a family suite. The breakfast was very good since we had a lot of choices. The hotel was only a walking distance to the street food stalls, night market and pub street. The staff were accommodating especially Madam sukha. Will definitely come back to soria moria when i will visit siem reap in the future.
