Nice budget hotel with great location”
The hotel is a walking distance from tourism spot, I like it this way since there will be minimal noise at night. Patong beach is within walking distance, and there are a lot of restaurants to choose from. The staff is quite nice but I think could've been better in terms of hospitality.

Very BAD Guesthouse Ever!!!”
Reception do know understand English. Hotel room is bad and no cleaning services. Toilet is the worst part as all the stained there like never clean before. All equipment not in good condition. the only good part is the Location is good. Do not believe the pictures posted.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!”
We have been travel so many places and staying so many different guesthouses/hotels but this is a really very BAD guesthouse we have experienced. First is our booking thru Agoda 4 days 3 nights (with full payment make) is 8 rooms (5 superior with extra bed & 3 economy), but the reception only gave us 6 rooms (3 economy & 3 superior) and another 2 rooms ask us to PAY!!! But ended up we didnt pay as we had make payment for 8 rooms thru Agoda. Secondly, the reception dont know how to communicate in simple English. This is really hmmm.... Thirdly is the rooms-Aircond is hot, Toilets is full of dirts, smelly & wc is in yellow stained but the water heater is ok, Safety box nonfunctional, Wardrobe broke too... Cleaning service is like if they wish to clean will clean, if they dont wish to clean u have to tips to clean... Lastly is the early morning free Coffee section, they only provide us the first day is the rest of the day they just keep it. Conclusion, please DO NOT stay HERE!!

Terrible Condition and Customer Service”
Let me start by saying I left the hotel a night earlier although I paid for 2 nights. I requested for early check in because of my flight schedule. The receptionist made so much noise and finally gave me a room and when i requested for the room I booked he literally screamed at me and told me to wait at the lobby until 2pm (which i did). Got the booked room at 215pm and the toilet was run down, door could lock, tap was broken , window couldnt shut etc. I was out most of the day and left the very next day when i found another place to stay. Absolute waste of time and money. Will never stay there again.

good location, good price but staff English is horrible. ”
the price is fairly cheap with good location. but in Thailand, most of people don't ask good English, therefore it's quite important for us to get the information from hostel staff. but surprisingly the staff seem like don't speak any English at all. They couldn't answer the questions about the minibus they mention on the service descriptions nor any basic questions about how to get taxi, to airport or leaving luggage. We basically done all these by body language. The room looks similar with the pictures, but hostel lobby doesn't.

Poor service and room hygiene.”
Not a very good experience during our stayed at Bird cage. Person at the reception was not friendly and gave us POOR SERVICE when we reached the hotel. Bird cage guesthouse hotel is not really a hotel it’s more on backpackers type with incomplete amenities. The pictures presented in their ads was far from reality.. for example the headboard in our room is dirty that I had to clean it myself so we can sleep on the bed plus the toilet seat needs replacement as it’s already so old. They should advertise their hotel as backpackers rather than a hotel so that expectation is not really high. It will pass as backpackers but not a hotel.
