Great location, feels classy!”
Lovely hotel stay here, very good location on a quiet street near the center of Hoi An! The building felt classy for the budget price, the pool is more or less indoors which means it's actually cold as it's shaded from the sun! Breakfast is amazing here, great selection with a free smoothie and fruit included! Would stay again for sure! Rented a bike with ease and the staff are polite!
Good location alongsie the Han River. A thirty minute walk to the beach. A ten minute walk to Vincom Shopping Center which has a supermarket. Rooms are clean and the property is well-maintained. The buffet breakfast is excellent. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Simply a very pleasant place to stay in Da Nang!
Generally Disappointing ”
This place has potential but unfortunately during our stay it was generally disappointing. Sometimes there was a woman at the reception who was nice but that was marred by the man who was generally pretty rude. I considered that perhaps my experience was just me misinterpreting a cultural difference as rude but I’ve been in Vietnam for nearly a month now & I don’t think that was the case. I actually pulled the guy up on his customer service and he seemed to improve in the last 12 hours of our stay. See the quick summary of pros/cons here or more details in a longer version further below; QUICK SUMMARY: - Rude Staff - Slow internet - blocked drain in room - some days hot water broken - TV difficult to work - Aircon broke on last day - no bbq facilities as advertised - Extremely rude woman in the shop next door (the closest place to buy water) + accommodated my meal request + good location DETAILED VERSION; - extremely slow internet in the room. We had to go to reception area to use the faster wifi there. This wasn’t great as it wasn’t possible to sit at a table and be connected to power. - Our room had a blocked drain and when we showered the water backed up to about an inch high across the bathroom floor. I could see toilet paper trying to come out of the drain which was disconcerting considering it’s linked to the toilet/sewer drain system. When I asked them to take a look they did but they walked away without saying anything and didn’t fix it until we followed them up on it. - No phone in the room just means a slight hassle if you need something reception is two floors down via stairs. That sounds like I’m being picky except I only ever needed reception because something was broken that shouldn’t be and for example at the end of the day I’d showered, jumped into bed (in my birthday suit) and tried to flick on the tv but it did work ... so a phone would have been great in that instance. - the hot water for our shower broke (or switched itself off perhaps)
WiFi to improve”
After 7 weeks traveling in Vietnam, that's one of the two hotels where WiFi network was not so good
Great place to stay. Central location ”
Rooms were clean. Fridge was stocked with reasonably priced drinks. Breakfast was good. Pool was clean and very refreshing. Mini Mart right next door for convenient water/snack purposes. Not a party hotel nice and quiet . Reception was very friendly and helpful. Would stay again
Fantastic!!!! Great staff, rooms super ok with balcony at the back. Breakfast very nice, more than enough!!! Cleaned every day with new towels. Stayed 8 nights, wonderful! Thanks a lot! Will certainly recommend!!!
good budget option”
could use much more attention to cleaning, but an okay option at a budget price point. nice breakfast and location. Had mixed experiences with staff.
We spent 2 nights in this hotel. The best one that we chose. 5 minutes by walk to be in the main road. Room is clean. Very quiet. Very kind personnel, give good advices, map and others. I really recommand this hotel if you want to go to hoi an.
Back After Many Years”
I stayed in Thien Nga several times about 12 years ago. The hotel has expanded since then, but still has the personal touch. The terrace is a nice place to watch the passing parade and the pool area is well maintained and inviting. Breakfast is simple, but plentiful and of good quality. We had booked 2 standard twin rooms, but were allocated doubles. One couple was able to transfer to a twin room, but it was on the ground floor and quite musty. The showers need attention - the water takes ages to drain away. Otherwise, I would certainly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay there again.
Perfect stay!!! One of the nicest hotels that I’ve stayed during my trip in Vietnam (Hanoi - Hue - etc). Hotel located 5 min walking from old town, super friendly and helpful staff & breakfast is delicious.
Den of thieves”
We originally booked for 3 nights and ended up leaving after our second night. Step by step things just kept going from great to horrid. Check in went rather smoothly. Our first night was great and we were happy to be there. Next morning we we went to the beach to have a relaxing day just to come back to our room being half cleaned - half ransacked. It seemed odd that things were out of place but we didn't really question it at the beginning as we got accustomed to how odd things work in SEA during our trips. Next morning after the complimentary "breakfast" - for which we have nothing good to say as it was a slimy, barely cooked egg with a piece of bread. We noticed that there was $$$ missing from our bag. The Staff were acting completely shady and the manager just kept yelling and blaming us for not using the safe deposit box. Which didn't even work to begin with. It ended up costing us more than we bargained for! Avoid this place.
Love this to the max. The staff allowed us to us the pool while waiting our bus ti arrive.
Poor maintenance and bad receptionist's attitude ”
Pros: - Close to Old Quarter. - Decent breakfast, great experience with the cook, she was attentive and made our food right. - The night shift man was nice too. Cons: - The day shift receptionist was very rude the moment we walked in, we came with 2 heavy suitcases yet he only helped to carry 1, me and my mom had to carry the other upstairs and he didn't say a word. Could have just politely said that not many people working so we could understand. When we checked out, he didn't even offer to help and just let us struggle with 2 suitcases. - He demanded us to leave our key at the reception when we're out of the room, ridiculous that it's our choice leaving the key or not. - Lots of mosquitoes at the room's balcony - Like every bad review about the bathroom here, it's true, damped and weird design of the shower. Gross towels as well. - The blanket is a joke, so bad we wouldn't consider it's a blanket, even thinner than a table cloth and white, as if given to cover a dead body.
Would not stay here. Incredibly rude staff. ”
Go somewhere else. There are lots of other hostels for this price. The staff were extremely unhelpful to the point of rude. They won’t be able to help with bookings. We tried to extend our stay and they promised us the same price then went and tried to scam us. We asked politely why the price couldn’t be the same like was promised and were just treated so unfairly. They obviously do not care at all about customer service/ if you are happy. That being said, rooms were decent for a budget hotel. Decent not great. Ripped sheets and towels. Nasty old blankets. Pool useless as it was inside. Breakfast not very good- small omelette with a hunk of bread and nothing to put on top of it. Good location about a 10 min walk from old town.
Great budget hotel”
We liked the quiet location that was an easy walk to the historic centre. And Han (sure hope I spelled her name right,) at the front desk was especially helpful and friendly. But this isn't the hotel for you if you like 4-5 stars, elevators and fluffy towels
Good location, great breakfast. Negative points were our bathroom flooded each time we used the shower and the smell of dampness grew during our 5 day stay. Apart from that, would recommend as decent budget stay in Hoi An although make sure the bathroom is in decent condition.
We really liked it here. We stayed for 4 nights in a room with a balcony overlooking the street. The room was very clean. The staff were great - very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Only 5 minutes walk from the centre of town. Free water, free bicycle and a pool.
Comfortable and budget stay”
We had a very pleasant 4 night stay with low budget even during public holidays. The hotel is recently refurbished. Facibilities are basic yet very clean, staffs are super friendly. Highly recommended!
A good place to stay ”
The room was really big and comfortable with a nice balcony. The breakfast is good and the staff really helpful. Only one suggestion: the shower water pressure was very low and not enough to have a good shower.
Good place,quiet rooms.”
Good choice if you get the room on a deal but if you are paying full price i would look at other places. The rooms at the back are quiet but starting to look a bit dated. great staff, friendly and helpful.
