I would not recommend this hotel
Cheap price, nice staff and easy to find the hotel - that is the only positive I can find
This hotel is old, dark, dirty and full of insects like spiders, moskitos, bugs and lizards in the room. Toilet did not work and the water tap was not working properly. The location is a bit outside the town and the only restaurant nearby belongs to the hotel - and serves food with low quality. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

pleasant stay
Local transport- tuktuk drivers, the view from the room. pleasant friendly staff
Pleasant stay, it met our needs for our visit to Kratie. We hoped to see the Irrawaddy dolphins in the Mekong. We saw many dolphins during the ninety minute boat trip. A lovely experience. One tip, think twice before taking the taxi/minibus from Kratie to Phnom Penh as recommended by one of the hotel staff. The bus would be a much better trip!! The breakfast/food at the hotel not to my liking. The pictures of the hotel on agoda, of the shower/bathroom, may be will be not what you will get. They also have wet bathrooms.

Horrible- I left and forfeited my money somewhere.
Nothing- I can't recommend it. Owner was rude and couldn't understand English.
The place was dirty. Menus were dusty, waitress was busy digging around in her nose. I lost my appetite. Location is horrible and they charge way too much for the dump. You can stay in town for half the price. ,

Clean and functional
Easy to find; Clean; Friendly staff
The hotel was easy to find (on the road into Kratie from Phnom Penh) and clean. A little weird how so many internal lights were off.... cost saving?? Anyway the staff only spoke basic English but it did the job, there was free internet and while basic the room was clean and hey, you get what you pay for. So no complaints. I can't comment on the restaurant as I didn't use it. The hotel helped me organise onwards transport in an efficient manner. Main problem with the hotel is that it isn't really in the heart of Kratie. Not too long a hike but it was a bit of a walk. Note that if you are on a public bus from PP you will see this hotel on the right as you head into town but the bus doesn't stop near it, going into town. So it's hoofing it back out there or tuk-tuk (drivers wait for the bus).

overnight stay after long day biking
kitchen open late, good breakfast, nice size room
A late evening check in after a long days travel by motor bike and we were happy to get to our room quick for a warm shower, 8/9pm and the kitchen was still open and able to serve us dinner, which was good. Comfortable bed in a big room, came with TV. Breakfast was free, omelette, baguette and ice coffee, perfect! though there was more choice for other`s. Perfect for our short stay.

Cheap price but far from centre of town
Price, clean, quiet
This hotel is actually about 2-3 km from the centre of town. It is a $1 motodop ride or a $2-$3 tuk-tuk ride each way to the centre of town. There are not a lot of restaurants close by although there are some roadside places just across the bridge. The hotel restaurant is OK but not great. Other than the cheaper price, this hotel is pretty basic and you would be better off staying closer to the centre of town elsewhere.

It's was totally good for me during the trip.
Clean, Friendly staffs and quiet
The location is a bit far from Kratie City even it's about 1km but it's quiet location (surrounding). the staffs were friendly and room was clean and large. Breakfast needed to inform the staff before eating otherwise they will charge as they have other customers who bought the room without breakfast. Generally, the hotel is good.

Affordable but out of town
Staff were helpful, it was cheap for where it was located
Only had twin beds, and the shower had no plughole. The location was a bit out of town, but the staff were able to arrange a tuk-tuk to take us to the viewing area for the Irrawaddy river dolphins.

The check in was fast, the room was well arranged
No restrict for extra children on existing bedding, Fast Check in and Clean Room
Ly Cheu is not really located in Kratie city center but it's not really far from this point. I only spent a few minutes to reach there. You might no seldom see the motor taxi outside the hotel but you can contact the receptionist to get one if you like. I was checked in so fast. What they need is my passport. The room was large and clean. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

Good hotel in Kratie
Clean, functional and friendly
after the long bus ride from pakse, we were pleased to see how good this hotel looked. our room had a view over the bridge, was a good size, and everything worked. reception booked bus tickets for us and breakfast was good. overall, excellent value for the money.
