Value for money, i got only USD 25 for my 2 nights stay. Large room, large bed, fride, AC, TV, hot water, nice staff with good english, walking distance to any attractions such as night market, old market, moslem community area, and also pub street. They also have a free pickup service from and to where i arrived in Siem Reap.
Fantastic hotel ”
This hotel was in a great location, near Pub street and the markets but on a quiet street so you can sleep at night. What really makes this hotel is the staff who work here they are so helpful and polite, they will do all they can to help you. The rooms are spacious and are cleaned spotlessly everyday, they also have a wide selection of breakfast and a pool.
Great little diamond in Siem Reap”
Love this hotel, nice rooms with all the facilities you need. Nothing in the mini-bar, but there's a small supermarket at 200m from the hotel. Very comfortable beds, AC and a fan. Breakfast is a bit disappointing, but overall I would recommend this hotel to everybody
Great location and excellent staff”
Located on a side street, less than 5mins walk to Pub Street. Mini mart next door for supplies, or you can walk to the main street for a larger super market. Very convenient to the old markets and night markets with plenty of street carts within walking distance. The rooms were nice and comfy with King sized beds. The air conditioning was a bit weak, so you need to leave it on when you are out, otherwise it takes a long time to cool down the room. Hot showers, free wifi and over 70 TV channels to choose from. The staff, particularly Mr Vuthi was fantastic. I was contacted within hours of booking to organise a free airport pick up and Mr Vuthi made sure we were well looked after during our stay. Breakfast was included, but never woke up early enough to try it out. Hotel also offers $1 = 1kg laundry service. Same price as outside, but saves you the hassle of having to carry the laundry around. Definitely will stay again!
Great base for enjoying siem reap and angkor wat”
We booked a deluxe room and loved it. Good size with pleasing decor and well thought out amenities to make your stay comfortable. We were happy to spend time there. Easy walking distance to the central part of siem reap yet quiet enough for a good sleep. The balconies advertised are tiny and not useable (maybe on the third floor they are better - we stayed on the second floor - ask about this). A few problems with the internet router but management was quick to respond and otherwise it worked great. Breakfast was abysmal but we are foodies. Unless you like dishwater oiled coffee you'll be heading elsewhere! You can opt out on the breakfast and save a few bucks on the room price. If you just need something to put in your stomach you're good to go. Enjoy!
So great we extended for a wekk”
We loved this room (303 - Deluxe Double with Balcony). It's on the front side of the hotel (not the pool) but back off the street, so it's pretty quiet. The large balcony was great to sit and relax. Wifi here was amazing, in that it allowed us to do skype calls with no dropouts. Staff are great. Super friendly and helpful. You won't regret booking this room or this hotel.
Lovely place to stay in Siem Reap”
Nicely decorated room, with super fast wifi. Great breakfast but the coffee is average. Luckily the Laundry Cafe opened 2 doors down and make an excellent brew. Pool view room is a little overrated. I'd suggest trying to get a front room. Back rooms are noisy during the day, but that doesn't really matter when you're out seeing the sites.
The staff are very friendly, they will greet you every time they meet you. They are very helpful to introduce the places to visit near by. The room is nice and comfort, that you can really get a good rest after a long day tour. Location is good, within walking distance to Pub Street, and there are some restaurants at same street with the hotel that offer cheaper food.
Everyone is smiling all the time!”
Everyone here will do whatever they can help, and you will always be greeted with a broad smile, they really are the loveliest of people. The room & the hotel was very clean. Location is great, Siem Reap has changed enormously since I was last there 10 years ago, it's expanded and become much busier and with way more facilities and modern shops and supermarkets etc. The hotel is a stones throw from all of this, but the location is nice and quiet, and surrounded by loads of locally run restaurants and cafes, which are all superb... ie if you're looking to hire electric bikes to whizz around the temples yourself, you can't go wrong with Blue Electric Bikes, in the next road!
Great Stay , Nice Staff”
Excellent Service with their kind staff. The room was spacious and clean. Everything went well for my three nights stay with my family and friend.
Hotel staffs were very accommodating and attentive to the needs of the guests. ”
Room was big enough and clean. You get more than what you pay for. What's good about local hotels is that staffs give you the best tips on how to maximize your experience. They were also very kind and accommodating. Perfect hotel for first time travellers.
Great service from manager (Mr So Kifi), punctual pickup from bus terminal, good friendly tuktuk driver. ”
Mr Kifi was very helpful prior to the trip, helping us arrange for tuktuk pick up and Angkor Wat tour. Prices quoted for tuktuks were all reasonable and not marked-up just because the hotel arranged it. Excellent service, clean basic rooms, nothing much to complain about!
To be honest, I was kinda surprised to see the hotel. I thought it was going to be somewhat like a boutique hotel I got in Phnom Penh. However, my disappointment quickly vanished as soon as I saw how friendly and accommodative their staff are. They would try their best to assist you. Another positive thing about this hotel is how comfy their room was. It feels that you are in your room not in a hotel room. The room was spacious for the three of us. My family and I were pleased with the room (how comfy and spacious they were), the staff, and the breakfast. The latter, I had thought I would need to ask for non meat food, but they provide garlic bread that we ended up having for the rest of our trip. This hotel is close to Muslim family kitchen restaurant and other Halal restaurants. It is also close to night market. Near the night market there is a halal kebab stand that offered delicious kebab. All of my family think this is our best hotel from all of the hotels that we had from our trips (Malacca, KL, and SR). Keep up the good work staff 👍.
Nice large clean rooms but breakfast was awful!”
Staff was nice! I stayed a couple of days and I stayed in 2 different rooms. The hotel location is good, located on a quite side strew and only a short walk to the main road. Lots of places to eat near by. Rooms are large and clean. Air con worked fine. However, water pressure was not so good. Also, sometimes there was no hot water or there was no cold water. In one room, I only had a bath with shower nozzel, but there was not a shower curtain so if you took a shower water sprayed all over the floor. A Plus, lots of English TV channels, CNN, BBC, CNBC plus FOX movie etc etc. A negative...the breakfast They bring you a menu with pictures of various food items...however none of the food they served looked like the pictures...they advertised ingredients they didn't even have and on top of that the food did not taste good! If you are looking for a good breakfast don't stay at this hotel! Or stay at the hotel and skip breakfast!
Enjoyed the stay”
I felt comfortable here. The staff were nice. They also helped us to book other services like tuk tuk, car, entrance tickets. The location is good since it is at the central and near the night market. The room is clean.
Everything would have been perfect if not for the faulty shower facility”
Room/ Hotel: Facilities (Air-Con, Wi-Fi) were working fine. There are some mosquitoes in the room (the hotel has lots of plants near the entrance, so possible breeding grounds for mosquitoes), but as long as you apply repellent at night u won't be disturbed (I'm prone to mosquito bites but didn't get any during my stay). Room is clean and very spacious. Main issue I had with the room was the shower facility - There was a problem with the cold water function (especially at night). It was simply not working so the water was SCALDING hot and became very hard for us to take a shower. Although counter staff were kind enough to check out the issue, they did not have the technical knowledge as to how to solve the problem. Seems to me that the problem could be due to low supply of cold water in the water tank, as it only happens at night. Hotel management should get this fixed ASAP if they don't want visitors to find other hotels. There's no elevator in the hotel so older travelers may want to stay at the lower levels. Location: About 10 mins walk away to the touristy areas (Pub zones/ night market). Very conveniently located (convenience store a stone's throw away, with a few good food locations nearby - try Dee's Cafe for tasty, cheap and affordable Khmer's food) Staff: Friendly counter staff, can speak English. There's a security post at the entrance too, but sometimes it's empty. Breakfast: Nice, simple breakfast provided. Can choose from a menu. Overall: Everything would have been perfect if not for the faulty heating/cooling shower function.
Good place, good staff.”
The location is good. Night market and old market is not far from the villa. Staff is nice and kind. We stayed 3rd floor, the water pressure is weak and so the water flow. But if i go to again, i will stay this villa.
Excellent and value for money”
The place is cozy, clean, well located, has all the necessities and the rooms are designed with the traveler's comfort in mind. The staff are all very hospitable and greets you with a smile every time.
Very nice stay for some days! ”
Git a really good deal on agoda and just paid 18$ per night. The reception staff was very helpful and caring. Breakfast was good, WiFi was working well, facilities were clean, pool area is nice. Only their Tuk Tuk driver was not that good, I think you can find better ones for the tours to Angkor Region. Highly recommended!
Fantastic location and staff”
The friendly staff made staying at Tareach pleasant. It is a Cambodian-owned property and the staff always had smiles on their faces and were very helpful. The staff helped us coordinate our visit to the temples with a great guide, helped us make restaurant reservations and stored our luggage after checkout. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, quiet, and located in a convenient part of town that is walking distance to markets, restaurants and Pub Street. It's also a short tuk tuk ride away to the local market to get away from the tourists and overpriced restaurants of Pub Street. Water pressure in the shower was always great and never an issue getting hot water. The breakfast that is included is made to order from a simple menu, and the staff graciously refilled our coffee. Free bottled water in the room replenished daily. Had a cute little pool with a small lounge area and bar for cooling off. My only minor complaint is that the WiFi was slow at times and the door to the room was a little tricky to open with the key. Everything else was wonderful. Thanks, Tareach Angkor Villa!
