Nice hotel”
We really enjoy our stay in Macagang hotel and resort. Aside from staying in the nice hotel, you have free breakfast and free access to the resort 24/7 and also the gym. The food in the resto is very delicious and be able to taste Bikol delicacies. Hope to stay again in this hotel

Very comportable”
Good, I have reserved 2 suite for us and some family member from nabua. I have the king suite and my family have the 2 beds suite. Unfortunately our bathroom in our room have a shower tub . The shower tub is way to high for normal person to slept in. I fell on the tub with several bruises in the thigh, Cubs and arm. I showed this to reception desk. This is very dangerous I suggest to have the tub replace with lower tub . This incident was reported in your front desk. They are very helpful and gave me a ice to put on my swollen cabs. I will be staying in your hotel next time I visit the Philippines again in near future but please take care of that issue .

Good staff but facility needs improvement ”
The staff who greeted us was pleasant and helpful. She informed us immediately of early clockoutof resto staff and room service due to observation of GCQ measures. The room was spacious and the bed big enough to sleep 2 large size people. It's, however, too old. Dare I say falling apart. The AC remote only has 2 settings: freezing and off. But our stay was altogether pleasant. Our needs were simple: a comfortable, mosquito-free accommodation. The rest are just perks. 😅

Great facilities for the location need to ensure rooms are better insulated fr light n sound @ night”
The huge windows were great during the day but the yellow curtains were terrible combined with the Fluorescent lights at night. Suggest to change to block out curtains and glaze rooms to block out sounds and light in the rooms at night. Change the locations of karaoke - we had only 1 night out of 5 without karaoke and parties.

T'was nice but inflexible”
The place is nice and easy to find. It has a selection of good food with generous servings particularly the "bulalo." It offers access to their pool and gym as inclusive perks for staying in their rooms. But I wish they offered something more practical for people who will only stay for a night or two minus the access to their amenities. A price for 800 to 1000php a night or even less for 12 hours will make them truly successful with or without peak season events. Hope they'd do that soon.

Need a lot of Improvement”
To the management, Hope it will reach out to the Top management r even owner in order for them to address the issue. In toilet first time I saw a hotel without exhaust fan, the shower nozzle full of algae, the curtain rod is a very rusty metal, full of spider web as well. The fridge is very old fashioned same as AC, very noisy. The water smell like straight extracted from the soil. I was so surprise that management even release that kind of room to be use by the guest and it seem like normal practice to them. I use to visit other room but its the same. Given the price to the location, It was sad that the guest doesn't really get what they pay for. This property I believe is long time in the business and I hope they take this matter seriously as this property I believe is one of the 2 Hotel in the area. I wish they will practice standard and hope Agoda will look after this matter as they are recommending a hotel in the website which I feel is not properly cleaned. All the staff are nice

Relaxing nice stay for family attending wedding at”
First time stay at the resort. It is in a quiet village where we attended a wedding at the resort. We had a relaxing time and the friendly staff made our stay enjoyable. Likely the best place to stay in the area.

Disappointing”
The hotel is just ok. Our room was a good size but the kitchen sink could use serious polishing and cleaning. There were two holes on top of the kitchen sink as if hard wares were forgotten to install. Woke up the first morning, ready to take a shower but no hot water. They tried to fix it during the 1st half hour but couldn't. I finally requested a big bucket of hot water which took 45 min to get delivered, mixed it with cold water, used a big cup to pour the water over me and that's how I freshened up that morning.

Decent for Events, Not so good as Hotel”
Convenient location since seminar is held there. Stayed for 4-days,3-nights; My room did not a phone; calling out to Front Desk was very difficult due to distance. Received bottled water on my first day but it was never repeated; The AC unit did not work properly on the first night; The bed was no more than a box spring with a built-in 3in of foam on top; not very comfortable if you're used to sleeping on a mattress topper; The door did not have a secondary lock when on the inside. Throughout my stay, I had to ask the staff to turn on the lightings on the balcony area-some nights guests had to do it ourselves; No complimentary shuttle service even within immediate areas like the town's centro. Experienced brownouts during our stay - lasted for hours; it didn't seem like the place had backup generators; The place has decent size pools; If you have your own vehicle, do check out other places

The place is ok. But need to clean better. Rooms need updating and hot water is a big problem. Plus rats in pool and had to ask for clean towels and to empty bins all the time. Won't go back there

Not a 3-star hotel!”
I'm not sure what standards or criteria the review board or whoever gave the 3-star rating was used to rate this hotel. A motel is better than this. The ceiling has leak and is rotting away. The bathroom/shower is not clean. Lots of ants also marching going inside the room. The pool also needs general cleaning.

Good value for what it's worth”
Great location, good amenities as well as well presented good size family rooms. Breakfast was not as big this time as it was when we stayed there 3 years ago, but overall a great hotel to stay and have family come over with bbq and karaoke facilities. Swimming pools were also great for the little ones, but not all were available (post pandemic.)

Convenient and Accessible”
I'll often book Macagang Hotel whenever I go home to my hometown Nabua. It's very accessible, and the room is big to accommodate up to 3 adults and 2 kids, even though I mostly travel alone. The rates are very affordable too, so I will keep booking here all the time.
