“what i liked about this hotel is that you don't even need to go out to have some fun, for there are plenty of fun things to do and waterpark activites to do in this hotel resort. the hotel edifice and rooms are beautiful and classy, and hotel staff are friendly and servicial, the gardens are beautifully landscaped. and it is nicely located in mactan island, with although a limited white-sand beachfront but stil plenty of watersports available for the guests. wide array of cuisine and restaurants to choose from. this is a hotel worth recommending to my friends. enjoyed our time there. perfect for honeymooners during lean season.”

“Don't waste your time looking for the best hotel in Mactan island, Cebu, Philiipines. Shangri-La tops it all. Although the price is high since it's a 5 star resort, it's worth it. You get what you pay for.”

“After 2 nights in normal hotel in Mactan island, we went the Crimson to enjoy life there. It was so amazing wit nice view of resort, swimming pool and private beach. I payed less than US$300 for the deluxe room and I never regret staying there. ^^ For breakfast, I found it variety of foods.. but not that much tasty as I expected. ”

“15 minutes from the Mactan International (Cebu) Airport, about P150 taxi ride. Mactan is quite bustling now, with a lot more tourists, good eats, cars & international flights. Getting to Cebu City proper is becoming difficult, taking 1 or more hours each way. Fortunately, you can have a very enjoyable stay at Movenpick. Even just staying in Mactan Island, you can enjoy Cebu's famous Lechon (Zubuchon, Rico's Lechon, etc.), shop for souvenirs (Islands Souvenirs), try some water sports & enjoy some hidden good eats. Giuseppe Pizzeria & Sicilian Roast is a 5-minute walk from the hotel & a MUST TRY. At Movenpick Hotel Mactan itself, try free sweets at the lobby during "Chocolate Hour" (3pm-4pm) or sample the world-famous Movenpick coffees & ice cream. This hotel provides a very enjoyable respite from the busy city life. Peaceful, secluded, with enough variety of activities to fill a weekend vacation. Enjoy!”

“there are many resort in mactan island, philippines, and we have tried many. this resort was what we have been looking for. it was worth every centabo i spent. if you are tired of the hotel menu, try maribago grill chicken, which is a walking distance. the resort owns 3 islands and you can hop around if you like. unlike other resorts nearby, they dont play loud music and it is suitable for older couples as well. we felt like a king and a queen there :)”

“The facilities were very nice, the staff was fantastic and everything was kept up and in good shape. Nice equipment in the gym too. The pools were nice and clean. The grounds were nicely maintained. The beach was clean too. My only gripe is that the water in the ocean was not clean. Unfortunately there was a lot of trash floating around in it. Not the fault of the hotel, just something to be aware of if somebody really wants to swim in the ocean. Mactan Island is just not the best place to be at if you are planning on spending time at the beach. That was not the reason I picked the hotel or location though. I picked this hotel because location was much better than staying in downtown Cebu and because of the closeness to the airport.”

“Best hotel I got for the money of the 5 I stayed in the Philippines this trip. Nicest rooms and balcony, I had just flown in from the Hilton Waikoloa and that is my favorite all time hotel if you don’t mind being nickel and dimed after you pay through the nose. The rooms and balcony and service at the Nordtropic were better. If the Cebu Mactan area was better I would come just for the hotel Breakfast buffet is heavily slanted Korean so if that’s important to you it’s a littl”

“we booked our hotel on the day itself because we had problems at our previous hotel. we managed to get a booking but upon check in they said there were no vacancy so they transferred us to crown regency towers which was in cebu. we were all participants to the ironman event and going back to cebu was too far for us. anyhow, we know that all hotels in mactan were full so we decided to push thru with our booking. when we got to the hotel , they gave us the executive suite plus two extra beds as we requested and a fruit platter. we appreciated the extra effort plus we had a good rest at the hotel. they were all kind to us so thank you for that!”

“A nice place to stay in Mactan area. weve got a room which is big,,clean and have a nice view facing the sea. the location is also ideal since they have groceries, pharmacy and even a restaurant just beside the hotel building. plus it is easy to find the place either you take a taxi or do ride public vehicle. i will definitely be back here again. ”

“Hotel very close to airport and walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. The hotel staff were very helpful, they allowed early check in, gave directions and arranged travel. The staff were also very polite. Rooms were big and very clean. The TV did not have many good English channels thou. I would recommend this hotel if you need to stay near airport or on Mactan Island.”

“We had our doubts about staying in this area of Mactan Island. Not near a beach, rather urban. The biggest draw was how near it is to the airport (free shuttle), and that really did make a difference since our plane landed after midnight. I messaged the hotel and there was a guy waiting with a sign and smiling when we dragged ourselves from our redeye flight. Eloisa ended up being the perfect place for us. The hotel arranged great tours for us so we could get to the beach, whale sharks, tarsiers, anything we needed. Painless. There's an inexpensive, air-conditioned massage place right next door (250PHP --like, 5 bucks!--for one hour full body with oil), and an outlet mall, grocery store and several great restaurants within easy walking distance. Try the Italian place called Pigafetta! Lasagna to die for. We ate there twice. The hotel has a small but very nice little gym with towels and a shower, great breakfast, really cool pool with neon lights at night--we got some great photos there--and a guest lounge with tv and couches if you need to kill some time before or after checkout (we needed that while waiting for our late flight out). The staff was absolutely the best, so friendly we felt sad to go, like we were leaving home. Our room had no windows, which might be hard for some. Darkness meant I could finally sleep in for a few days! Even the one cockroach we saw above our door is not a complaint because that could happen anywhere in Cebu, and the staff took care of it cheerfully within five minutes. Ended up being a funny story and even a fond memory somehow! Rooms get cleaned very efficiently, beds are on the softer side of the Asian norm, though could be a little softer. No complaints. Rainfall shower, awesome. And all the public spaces were decorated for Halloween! Thank you, Eloisa, for a fantastic stay. We'll be back!”

“For 20 years I have stayed 50+ nights a year in hotels in various parts of the world; mostly Europe and North and South America. I had used 4 or 5 star beach resorts on Mactan Island on 3 prior visits to Cebu. They were good hotels but had no soul. The staff were robotic - by rote answers to questions and, if something unusual was asked, the human equivalent of a computer page being unavailable. So I asked myself what I was looking for from a Cebu hotel. The answer was comfort, safety, a decent swimming pool and good transport links. The Waterfront Airport is what it says it is; a 3 star airport hotel where most customers will stay overnight after arriving or prior to departure from Mactan-Cebu Airport. However it is much more than that. I stayed in a Deluxe suite. This was actually three good sized rooms: a bedroom with double bed, TV and plenty of storage; a bathroom which had a bath with a flexible shower fitting and a separate shower room with a fixed shower; and, a lounge with TV, two seater sofa and 2 chairs, table, TV, mini-bar, two large windows giving views of the city and interior on one side and of the airport on the other, and more storage. Each room had a phone and air conditioning operating down to 18C. It made a quiet background hum causing no disturbance. Rooms are sound-proofed but planes can be seen and just about heard in the lobby area. The swimming pool is 28x12 yards and 3-4 feet deep throughout with a small area which is very shallow and suitable for young children. Complimentary towels are provided and there is a good quality gym adjacent to it. At weekend from 7-11pm a pianist and singer perform in the lobby lounge. Marina Mall is an 8 Peso jeepney ride or ten minute walk away. The hotel, although 3 star, provided terrific value for money, has staff who go out of their way to be helpful and I would recommend it to anyone looking for quality at a competitive price and a good base from which to explore Cebu, city and island.”

“Incredible surroundings, private bungalows, excellent swimming pool, excellent ocean views. Restaurant could be better, but other restaurants in close proximity; I suggest the "Floating Restaurant". The Cordova is not too busy and the staff will bend over backwards to help you with any issue. I will never stay anywhere else on Mactan Island, Cebu.”

“Lovely location on the tip of mactan island. Stunning view of the ocean. We booked the 2bedroom suite and it was really lovely, spacious and clean. Since the hotel is at the tip of the island, it was far from everything. No restaurant or convenience store nearby..no public transport..its best to bring own car in the hotel. ”

“The kids enjoyed the facilities, they never got bored as there are play areas for small children and gaming room for older ones. The pools are never crowded even if it was peak season as there are 4pools to choose from and a jacuzzi too! Rooms were also spacious and staff were very polite. I would note however that you would be able to maximize your stay if you bring a car with you so you could roam around mactan island at heart's content.”

“Best hotel, best value, best accommodations located in between the two bridges on Mactan Island in Lapu-Lapu less than 10 minutes from the airport. There are lots of hotels, but this one is the best offering the nicest rooms, with outstanding staff and customer service. Has restaurant onsite with great food and buffet breakfast every morning. Also has onsite massage facility on 2nd floor. Been there multiple times now and always welcomed back by staff who remember us and are mostly the same for past number of years. Everyone from the housekeeping staff, the front desk, management, and even the guards are so friendly and awesome.....guaranteed to be an great experience as they truly pride themselves on providing superior service and attention 24/7! No matter what you're looking for (sites, transportation, rentals, shopping, beaches, etc) just ask the staff or the guards and they have all the answers. Definitely will continue to stay there every time I go back- Highly recommended.”

“la mirada is not a hotel but a block of condos, with a fitness centre downstairs, it has no restaurant but does share and have use of the 2 hotels that are right next door to this condo, it is in very quite part of cebu called new mactan in this area there seems to be a lot of building going on new hotels malls getting built, for me for 3 nights it was a nice quiet place to be I was with my gf and it was very romantic there, you can use the 4 other pools in the 2 hotels next door also their restaurants, staff and sercurity are very polite and will help you with anything or any problem... condo is in gated complex with lots of sercurity....ideal for family's and couples....the only downside is the lack of places you eat apart from the 2 restaurants in the 2 neibouring hotels, you will have to get a taxi which are very cheap to either Ayala mall or sm mall or mango square, the only other problem is taxis, because of location you have to wait for a taxi to drop someone at hotel then you can jump into that taxi, or reception will ask sercurity to walk up to the main rd to get you a taxi.... if you don't mind eating in every night then it's ok, it is a lovely place in lovely land scraped area very safe inside complex and great pools, the guests here are mostly Chinese and Japanese, breakfast was dissapinting unless you like rice and noodles every morning at 8 am ... I would stay again definitely, I think when the other malls and hotels in the area are built it will be a lot better... overall a great stay...”

“Nice resort on Mactan Island , Cebu, Philippines. I stayed in the room with a balcony overlooking the water. Room was spacious with good selection of TV channels, in room safe and mini fridge. Plenty of swimming area with a beach. Good restaurant serves great free breakfast each day of stay. Swimming pool indoors but didn't use. Walking distance to 7-11 store. 4 stars. I recommend it.”

“always thinking.... best of mactan island hotel all hotel employees...kind too..”

“The hotel is a bit out of the way in the center of mactan island on a side street. some taxi drivers didn't know the way to it. The rooms are clean and modern although all are small and some very small. There is a flat screen with good cable on wall at end of a very comfortable bed. Also a folding shelf on wall at end of bed for computer. Staff accomadating for early or late checkout. Restarant not much and closes at 10pm.Free breakfast is skimpy . But they willingly heated up leftovers from an outside meal for us and gave us free hot water to use sachets to make our own coffee. Nice small area outside with tables and chairs for smoking or just getting out of the room and watching life go by on the usually not too busy street. Island Mall is a short trycycle ride away. The bathroom is small but sufficient with good hot water shower. Not a single insect seen in many nights at this hotel.”

“(+) Very Kid Friendly Resort Ocean View room is Superb Lots of entertainment and activites There are 2 Restaurants in the resort Very Maintained White Beach Aqua Play Pool and Aqua Park are a hit for kids Spacious Room Very Welcoming and Friendly Staff (-) - Elevator is a bit dark and the elevator's floor is usually wet & slippery due to guests who just came out from swimming and did not dry themselves properly - Location is a bit far from Cebu's attractions. Resort is near to Mactan Airport”

“Great location at north bridge on Mactan island. Near a mall, 7-11, taxis. Good free all you can eat breakfast buffett. Clean rooms. Four stars!”

“I attended a workshop at the hotel beside Karancho when I booked my stay there. I was pleasantly surprised of the ambiance and the facilities of this beach house considering that I only paid less than half of the price in 4-5 star hotels in the area. The staff were all very accommodating especially the lady who brings my breakfast up to my room. The beach was not so nice nor big but I can imagine it being a good base for when you go around island-hopping in Cebu. I heard there is a good diving spot not too far away. I left before their weekend music sessions by the beach, it would have been a nice to chill by the beach.”

“Very nice hotel with pool. Very small hotel - only 8 rooms open when i was there - making it really quiet. Breakfast only had one choise - the same food every day.. a bit booring For lunsh/dinner it takes almost one hour from ordering to eating... About 15 min walk to Lapu Lapu where there are lots of restaurants and shops. All restaurants sell only Korean food and are rather expencive. Best choise for eating out is to ake a taxi to Mactan Shrine where you find a variety of eating places and shops”

“First of all the staff was so wonderful, helpful, and oh so kind all the time! There truly is no better staff world wide as far as I’m concerned! This resort definitely caters to romance! With your very own private pool, life just can’t get any better! And the price? This is the best deal, by far, in the Mactan/Cebu area! ”

“i stayed in the uptown (1 of the 2 islandsstay hotels in cebu)hotel for 2 days then transferred here to the mactan island hotel. both hotels have no where to hang up your clothes. uptown was so small that i had a very hard time even finding room to set my suitcase on edge on the floor between the bed and the bathroom wall. so i got a double bed room (their room was 4 times larger than uptown)in mactan just to have a place to open my suitcase and lay out my clothes. they gave me 1 of 2 rooms in the back on the 3rd floor (long walk). uptown ran out of water on my last morning there- they brought me a bucket of water to bath and flush the toilet- and waved my early checkin fee to mactan. helpful staff but note that uptown is under construction. mactan has a restaurant in their lobby. i had the aged pork adobo for bfast the 1st day- recieved a small portion that was 95% fat. when i complained i was told that was normal (note- i've lived in the pi for 7 years. sooo. no. that isn't normal) when i complained again on paying my bill they were kind enough to refund my money for the adobo. mactan gave me a quite room but no bedsheets till the next day. and the bathroom floor would not drain cus the floor sloped away from the drain hole. i would recommend mactan- friendly staff and large rooms. islandsstay hotel is a clean and friendly and helpfully staffed hotel chain. just minor problems that need to be corrected to be a top notch place to stay in cebu city.”

“The Owner and staff are exceptional! Were relocating from US to Phillipines and stayed here for a night. Very helpful with finding us transportation onward for us. Definitely recommend staying here.”

“Just very near Gaisano Mactan mall. Also near the airport. You can take a jeepney to Savemore then go to the terminal for airport jeepneys and they'll drop you at the domestic terminal. You'll only spend php14 and takes only 10 minutes for the two jeepney rides. Rooms are clean and the shared toilet. Staff are courteous. Convenient and very affordable for those who are waiting for their next flight.”

“a good place if your flight is too late or too early. Staffs are very nice and helpful. Help me to book van to airport. While I would like to pay, driver told me it was paid already via grabpay. Could you let me know how to return the money back to you?”

“Only 15 minutes on foot from the airport. It's very good to stay when arriving around midnight (or too early morning, if not for enjoying at Casino is also good to stay!!). Staffs are so kind and helpful, the hostel is situated in the quiet place, A/C and washroom are inside of the room, Marina mall(we can go anywhere by jipney in Mactan) is at less than 10 minutes of walikn'. For me, like travelling in a cheaper way, It was nothing more that I needed!!”

“I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights at this place and their staffs are really helpful and friendly. The place is clean and the best part of it is its really near the Mactan Airport. So if your in a Budget trip you may want to stay at this place for a taxi fare as its only few minutes away from the airport.”

“If you are looking for a place to stay and near the airport, Mactan District Budgetel is highly recommended. It is just few minutes away from the airport. Staffs are accommodating and room is clean. highly recommended for a backpacker or solo traveler like me. ”

“My friend and I totally enjoyed the days we spent at AOSMEC. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and the staff are no different! We always felt welcomed. The rates are very affordable, and the location was also ideal. So it’s the best of both worlds! It’s close to the airport, beaches, many tourist activities, restaurants, and supermarkets. If we’re ever back to Mactan Island, we’ll definitely be getting rooms there. Thanks for an amazing time AOSMEC!”

“Very nice place to stay while we studied for our diving licensees. The staff was nice and the children who lived there were very sweet and respectfull. ”

“Staffs were very friendly and nice. They introduced me a good many exchange person. Room was clean and big, there's small light & socket for each bed. And you can use bath towel & hair drier. Cheap breakfast. Free water.”

“This is the best guest house I been before ..very clean and very comfortable more than my house ..lol ..the most satisfied is staff ..Angle is very friendly and take care me a lot ..like my family ..big recommend for her ..I love her so so much ..thanks for warmly welcome..I will come again ..”

“Dee's Guesthouse is near the shore and Dive Companies so its a good location to stay if you plan to go for beach activities while on a budget. The house is set up like a traditional tatami house from Japan. They provide water in the room, toiletries like bath gel, shampoo and conditioner. We booked a room with a toilet but they also have options for rooms with shared toilets/bathroom. The family living there is accommodating and their son is a fun loving kid. If you're up for activities in the Mactan Area, Dee's Guesthouse could be a good option for you!”

“this hotel has no back up generator in event there is blackout. no electricity, i left with no option but to go to nearby mall. i woke up sweating because there was no electricity. location wise, if ur not local, this can be quite challenging. BEST is there staff. All VERY friendly and accomodating and willing to please.”

“Basic hotel for basic needs. We needed a hotel near Mactan airport and this hotel served its purpose. We wanted a no frills hotel just for a night's sleep and this hotel is just that. It's cheap so don't expect a luxurious accommodation. ”

“the room was small ish but adequate, we were on a budget & got more than we paid for. it is centrally located mid town, near the airport & has excellent transport links. your in the heart of a busy barangay & living like a local which is what we wanted, especially as my wife is a pilipina. the beach is 15 mins away by 1 trike & 1 jeepney-great as you get to take in the surroundings. the inn has more than enough staff for the size of the place, & it is immaculately clean & sparkling. if/when we return to mactan island we will without doubt stay there again, it will be our pleasure. the owner is very intelligent & well read, his knowledge of the whole south east Asia is second to none & therefore not only gives travel advice & recommendations regarding just the Philippines. the owner & staff are friendly, helpful, polite, & nothing is too much trouble for them. we booked for 1 night & extended our stay as we were that impressed with the inn, thank you all so much for such a pleasant & enjoyable experience. mike & leah parsons”

“The female dormitory has bigger space in actual. The room was maximized with good enough space to move around. Rooms are always kept clean, and the bed is comfortable with proper thick blanket. Perfect place to stay at when diving in Mactan, just 15-20 minutes away from the dive sites.”

“you can ride jeepny when you want to go to seesight and white beech. everything was prepared eventhough you can reload your phone at reception desk. just little bit louder because there is an institution, but i enjoyed, because vary people is there. i recommend you who want to travel and stay at clean hotel in mactan island.”

“A fairly new and affordable place for a quick stay in mactan especially of you have an early morning flight the next day. Room was clean. Only complaint is the low water pressure in the shower and no elevator. But the staff helped us in carrying our things to our room and also helped in booking a car thru uber to go the airport for an early morning flight. ”

“A minimalist business style hotel in need of fresh paint, The JCAD Hotel, formerly known as the Chalet De Mactan, is under 10 minutes by car from the airport and offers a $3.00 pick up/delivery plus an equally reasonable rate to the North or South Bus Terminals, to access the rest of the island. It's a 12 minute walk to the Mactan Marina Mall, behind which there's a ferry dock within with service to Cebu City ferry terminals. Th JCAD has a passable restaurant on site and it's only a 5 minute walk on the same side of the road to the Scape Skydeck, one of the top rated bar/restaurants in Cebu City. The difficulty is in getting to the place! It's on the South side of the M.L. Quezon National Highway EXACTLY at the point where the two Southbound lanes coming off the (new) bridge merge into the MLQNH.”

“I was a solo traveller when I stayed here. I felt safe and comfortable. The staff friendly, smiley and very helpful. I really felt at home with the staff caring for my well being and sincerely listens when I want to tell how my day was. I've got problems with my reservations and they've managed to mitigate the issue fast and easy. The place is very near to a mall, restaurants and eateries, airport and attractions. I specifically chose this hotel due to it's proximity to places I wanted to go in Mactan. I'm more than thankful for all the convenience I got. I will stay here again someday when I want to go back for Cebu Dive.”

“guest house was not visible as a guest house, just a rough looking old steel gate. room was nailed together, with plastic tarpaulin on walls,air-con was in a disgusting state, and rattled loudly, and the door wouldn't shut properly. The toilet was dark and dingy,no toilet seat, and the hand made shower didn't work, with just a tap, and some buckets + a hand pump for water. The so called new road is a dirt track littered with dog feces, and it was so far off the beaten track that Taxi fares, there and back to airport would charge twice the cost of one nights stay, even though its in the Mac tan airport area!”

“Don't expect much for the low price, but it is a safe and passable place to sleep for a night when coming or going through the airport. Good value, provided the rate stays low. ”

“Ace Penzionne is good for someone looking for an economical hotel. The first room, the a/c didn't work but the guard who also checked my baggage inspected the room before I got settle in and made an immediate adjustment. Also, the front desk people were pleasant and accommodating, so overall the staff were very good and did a proper job I found. The first room, which I didn't stay in, did have a bit of an oder (fifth floor), but the room I was moved to did not have it and was clean. It was comfortable and safe there. Also, Gaisano Mall is directly across the street and has everything a traveler could need. Another thing is access to the airport in Mactan is easy from there, which is a plus. I would stay at this hotel again as I feel I got a good value for the money and would recommend it to any budget-conscious traveler.”

“This hotel was perfect because it was close to the airport and my flight arrived after midnight. My wife was able to check-in ahead of me and meet me at the airport. Staying here gave us easy access to resorts and restaurants on Mactan Island. It was also a very nice hotel for the price - just over $20.00 (U.S.) per night. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.”

“This is a nice little hidden place in the center of Mactan close to the airport. The place is the headquarters for a biker club but don't let that dissuade you, The clientele is varied, the staff is great, and the place is quiet and super-clean. It's a restaurant also with some cool vintage decor and also has a nice little pool for swimming. Very relaxing place and the best value on the island. Most of the places on Mactan are overpriced because of the airport and not nearly as nice. Only ate once in the restaurant, food seems ok with varied menu and average drink/food prices. The location is a little tricky,,,it's down the end of long hidden driveway off the main road, which is good because it's fairly private and quiet but a little challenging when it comes to taxis. I mainly used Grab and Uber. Most taxi drivers don't know where the place is. The only minor annoyances was spotty wi-fi and having to ask for fresh towels everyday. Other than that.. highly recommend for the value”

“It's a good choice prior to departure from Cebu, as it's near the airport (about 7 mins by taxi, 80 pesos), situated opposite the Mactan Gaisano Shopping Mall and McDonalds. Room is simple and clean. Towel and soap provided, with satellite TV channels & good Wifi. Nice view of the bridge and Cebu City from the 5th floor restaurant. I had to get a taxi at 5am for an early flight & it was not a problem at all with the help of the receptionist.”

The bathroom is small but sufficient with good hot water shower. Not a single insect seen in many nights at this hotel.”

Enjoy!”

“The room fixtures were good but the attention to details was poor! No bottle opener, no can opener, a room for 3 persons with 1 towel, 1 mug for coffee, 2 plates etc., no balcony chairs, 1 saucepan that had burnt remains on the bottom, no knife sharpe enough to cut a lemon ... you get the picture. :( Most of this was put right when I complained but should I have to complain before it is done? When an additional towel arrived she said it was dirty and put it in the washing machine indicating that I use it after it finished washing! They tried to charge for beach access and only because I argued their post didn't mention paying that they eventually agreed to give me a free pass. The location was convienient and the sand beach was a welcome alternative to Mactan mud and Cebu City pollution. I will certainly return to Newtown but will look for better accomodation, if on vacation and certainly if on business I do not want the stress of having to ask for everything!”

“Pros: we were able to checkin early, which was super helpful with our two young children Cons: no e We only stayed one night, it was perfect. Suggestions: aircon need a clean, tea spoons and toaster in the kitchen😊”

“we choose here because we have to waiting for next flight it very close to Mactan Airport but you can't walk you have to go by Taxi it just 70-80 peso for 1 way but some taxi will charge you 200-500 peso for 1 time you have to know this!! not paid over than 100 peso for taxi from airport to hotel!!! . Hotel is locate on 5 floor or something of building it's a kind of condo or apartment somethings that this hotel take 2-3 room of it. . when you arrive, security will bring you there at night is quite dark and feel not safe outside . but the room was ok, big, clean, and more function we take family room. it's very large with sofa, tv, table for dinner and bed that suite for 4 person. restroom was ok. especially owner and staff is very nice and good at English. . if you looking for hotel near Mactan Airport you can choose here”

“When I went to slept just the only one noisy of the water dropping outside the window”

“Housekeeping guy never cleaned, just changed towels and forgot to bring new ones. Ones came at night just to get some tip, was standing and just waiting for it!! Worse housekeeping ever, ruined our stay”

“Beautiful place, great location to the airport, the building itself has many rooms under renovation, so the room you're staying in is one of the renovated rooms being managed by a private company. Only a few things disappointed with. The internet does not work that well upstairs, there is no cable boxes so no cable channels at all only Netflix and YouTube via the Internet, all the windows have curtains except one downstairs why would you leave curtains off of a window, poor workmanship as far as getting a place together, toilet seat was not attached properly, bathroom sink bolts securing it were loose, bedroom door to the bathroom doesn't close properly, should have put a cement foundation underneath the tub has it flexes and moves when you're standing in it. All minor things to fix overall beautiful place great location staff were very helpful with any issues that we had. I would definitely stay there again”

“Costabella is actually one of the nicest hotel in Mactan Island. Less expensive than Plantation Bay and White Sand Maribago but it's along that same road/area. Although the bathroom was a little tired but everything worked and was clean. we had dinner in the restaurant each night and the food was good and there was an excellent ”

“This place is a hidden gem amidst the fancy hotels in the vicinity. Good value for money and rooms are adequate, comfortable and clean if you are not looking for a 5-star experience. No cable tv though but not necessary if one only stays for the night”

“Roland's condo is a nice place to stay on Mactan Island. It is just a bit overpriced for a converted 1 bedroom with 1 bath. Previously I rented a true 2 bed 2 bath for for same price per day in the same building. It would be nice to include a water dispenser inside the condo. Overall the condo is clean and comfortable. ”

“Checked in to Best Western and received a pleasant surprise. Was given a free upgrade to The Solea Resort with a sea/pool view. Simply Fabulous. Rooms were great and the staff at Solea were fantastic. F&B were also great. A truly memorable stay. My choice hotel the next time I am Mactan, Cebu. ”

“Me and my Family enjoy our stay at this condo, and they have free scooter to use.”

“We had to wait in a reception for the woman for 30 mins on arrival and there was no aircon. We then got in our apartment and was told the aircon was not working in the bedroom they were supposed to fix at 8 pm so we had to wait in no one turned up till 930 after me chasing them. Then the next day the electric went off I asked for my money back or to be moved we finally moved to a studio which was actually better. Think it just depends on your luck much better to book a hotel. Also loads of maintenance. The beach close by was small and dirty and not worth even looking at. Pool was great and the gym good it’s far away from everything, there is a supermarket and cafe and restaurants close by. Personally I would never go back to Cebu again dirty expensive and too much traffic.”

“Good location right front of beach (private nice beach only hotel guests can use) joint with infinite fresh water swimming pool well maintained. All the staffs are friendly and helpful. We did enjoy stay for four nights.”

“The room was horrible; it had flies and hair everywhere; bed had stains; room was filthy. (Comments made by the actual traveler)”

“Any questions I had were addressed almost immediately by Paul. Johnny the maintenance man was very helpful in getting my room ready for early check-in and getting a local SIM card for me.”

“I really like the place. It was very clean and very relaxing. The staffs are very hospitable. I really like it there. I'd definitely come back”

“fantastic lovely family run place clean comfortable room felt very welcome and could use kitchen etc can not rate highly enough, very close to dive centers across the road from aquaworld which is the best and cheapest center I could find with the greatest couple working there and the dives were exquisite very very happy with my stay :)”

“this hotel has no back up generator in event there is blackout. no electricity, i left with no option but to go to nearby mall. i woke up sweating because there was no electricity. location wise, if ur not local, this can be quite challenging.
