Tasteful, comfortable lodging”
Madingley Hall's surrounding was picturesque and beautiful. The room I booked was comfortable enough. The only drawback is the fact that Madingley Hall is located a little too far from Cambridge city centre.

Impressive property in idyllic settings”
Building, history, gardens
Rooms are small but convenient for conference boarders. They lack conveniences for tourists / holiday guests. The boiler failed during our stay and we were unable to obtain hot water and heating for our entire stay because technicians could not fix the problem. Although the hotel promotes its services for disabled guests, we found rooms located in the new wing to be difficult to access with umpteen stairs to climb and far from the hotel reception area
