" From the moment we were picked up at the airport by the hotel's minivan service, to the time we were dropped off, service was seamless. The resort facilities and each and each & every staff member met and surpassed all of our expectations. The resort grounds and our pool villa were immaculate. Every morning, without fail, a housekeeper knocked on our door to ask if our room needed service. Our villa had the comfiest beds with cloud-like pillows and duvets inside, and a huge chaise and 2 lounge chairs on the patio. There were many electrical outlets inside and outside of our room and the electricity never cut out even once, not even during storms. Linens were pristine, and there were toiletries aplenty. Every last detail was thought of; even white bathrobes and room slippers were provided. Both my friend and I were very impressed with the resort's attention to detail. The breakfast buffet had both western and Thai offerings, and service was stellar through and through. The concierge even gave us 10% discount meal & beverage coupons. The resort staff were always happy to help and acknowledged every request efficiently and courteously. Happy hour was from 4pm to 6pm and 100 baht cocktails were on special. At lunchtime, there was a krapow personal pan pizza & your choice of soda for 140 baht. Everything I had from the resort's restaurant was delicious! The resort's wifi signal was far superior to my internet on the mainland, not that anyone would actually need wifi on such a beautiful, serene stretch of beach. While the beach wasn't white sand, it was very peaceful, unlike the busier Chaweng area, and Mae Nam Beach is stunning in its own right, offering a breathtaking sunrise view as well as a spectacular view of Koh Phangan. Another thing I noticed was the diversity of hotel guests. There were solo travelers, couples, families, and groups of friends staying at the resort. I had some unexpected work to do and thankfully there were computers in the lobby. "

"This newly build hotel on Mae Nam beach is the perfect place for people looking for a quiet beach resort only a cab/scooter ride away from the busy places on Koh Samui. The rooms are spacious, the bed is huge! and comfy. The staff is kind, helpful and nothing is too much to ask for. English is well spoken by the (also European) staff. The breakfast is great, I had lunch and dinner several times in the restaurant and all the dishes were good. I would definitely recommend this place I you are looking for relaxation on a wonderful beach in a great environment. "

"We spent 5 days in the Escape Beach Resort in a Standard Room with Breakfast. The rooms where very clean and the view from the pool is stunning. The only downside is that they have not that many chairs at the pool. But we always got a chair if we liked. The location is at the end of Mae Nam Beach. You need to get a motorbike or a car to get around what we would recommend. Mae Nam and Bophut are nice little towns worth a visit. Breakfast was served from 7-11 am. It contained everything you wished from fresh fruits, continental dishes over eggs as you like them to a thai dish. Never had this good breakfast in Thailand. There are also seaview bungalows available which I would recommend. But ask for direct seaview not poolview. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome and would definitely return for another stay."

"What a great place to stay when visiting Koh Samui. Situated in Mae Nam, it's set back from the road in a quiet location, with its own beach. The greenery and villas dotted around give it a real resort feel. The staff are very friendly and always happy to help. The restaurant has gorgeous beach views, and it's a great place to sit on the comfy sofas in the bar next door and watch the sun go down. I would definitely recommend Fairhouse Villas."

"As a family we had 2 bungalows for 8 nights. It was beautiful wandering through the gardens to get to the beach and swimming pool. The rooms were spacious and luxurious. Mae nam was very quiet, a great selection of restaurants in the same street. Lots of taxi services available to other beaches. A great location for a quiet hassle free holiday. We really loved our stay at Pinnacle."

"Our stay was fabulous. We booked for 1 night abnd stayed for 10. The bungalows are a stones throw from the waters edge which was incredible to wake up and you are at the beach already. The beach was clean and not over populated, we checked out the rest of the island and the water was shallow and hot, so therefore the water was not at all refreashing, unlike Mae Nam beach which is not rocky but lovely yellow sand. The restaurant served beautiful food and ensured we hired a motorbike from a reputable bike dealer. Arn the receptionist/manager is as friendly as you can hope to meet and she adds her personality to Lolita without a doubt. The rooms are basic but clean. The beds are the only let down. We had the most amazing time at Lolita Bungalows and maybe the price was a litle high for the comfort the room gave, but the BEACH, the VERANDAH and the SERVICE from FRIENDLY STAFF seemed to keep us content. Highly recommend this resort if you love the ocean and just want to relax without the hassle of noise and young fools on alcohol than this is the place to be."

"We were here in low season so the hotel was almost empty and we shared the nice beach with a few people from other hotels. The hotel has a restaurant on the beach. It’s good and not too expensive (compare to the cheap street food). Bungalow close to the beach is simple and clean but it is not luxury. We don’t know how it is in high season but Mae Nam is definitely more quiet than Chaweng, with probably less restaurants and bars. The atmosphere seems to be more local here. Chaweng is only touristic. There are bars but no nightclubs. Unfortunately lots of places closed in Mae Nam in low season, so we rent a motorbike (150 Bath a day – 4 euros) and it was nice. People drive ok here but I guess there’s a lot more traffic in high season. Be very careful if you are not used to drive one ! We loved it here and stayed much longer than we had planned."

"i would recommend this hotel to people of all ages. the staff was very friendly and always greeted us with a smile. the food at the restaurant was good but as you would expect pay a little bit more then you would at a local restaurant. the location was a bit out of the way of all the action but would definitely recommend renting a motorbike (and can do so through the hotel) rather than using taxis as expenses can add up after repetitive use. the rooftop pool was nice as it gave you the option to swim other than having to head to the beach. pool did have a decent amount of chlorine in it though. the rooms were very clean and offered everything that one would need, including 2 free bottles of water daily. the beds were a good size but ive slept on a better mattress. mae nam is a much quieter place on the island but it doesn't take long to get too bo phut or chewang, where more of the action and nightlife is located. the hotel itself is very modern and environmentally friendly. also a travel agent is located right across the street and a 7/11 is only a 2 minute walk down to the right when you walk out the hotels front entrance. a local restaurant i would recommend when wanting to switch things up from the hotel restaurant is uncle noi's down the street to the right when you walk out the front doors of the hotel. great food and affordable prices. will definitely stay here again if i come back to ko samui!"

"Isolated location, away from the busy streets. Not much restaurant options in the neighborhood, but you will be happy enough in this hotel. Mae Nam beach is truly a quiet beach to relax, compare to other beaches. The hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming, caring and attention to details. Nice facilities, swimming pool is huge and warm. Food is a bit overprice, but the dinning experience is good. Spa therapists are professional. Overall a superb experience."
